Light hearted question, but share yours with people that care and might even empathise (DH is struggling to keep his sympathy face on these days).

Mine would have to be acid reflux I reckon (with a silver for the SPD and a bronze for sore under-carriage)!

ValiumQueen · 04/08/2012 16:32

Not being able to take Brufen (I have a broken ankle)
My mother, she is a pain at the best of times, but when I am pregnant she fusses even more.
Heartburn

EggsMichelle · 04/08/2012 17:59

Constipation... it goes against my obsession with having a regular toilet rota and bloody uncomfortable!

Goldrill · 04/08/2012 23:16

Athlete's foot! I have not been drying my feet properly as they are too hard to reach and the itching is driving me slightly potty. It is taking my mind off backache and the distinct feeling my pelvic floor has evaporated (30 weeks and HUGE).

Badgerina · 05/08/2012 00:38

Do I have to choose one!?!!?

Heartburn
Carpal Tunnel
PGP

Aaargh!

theTramp · 05/08/2012 22:03

I am only 8 weeks but I have never been so tired in my life. The sore boobs I have gotten used to, the consistent nausea I seem to now have a handle on, but the exhaustion is killing me. I should have been working today - instead I got up, pottered about for 3 hours, 'napped' for 4 hours, then pottered again. No energy for much more than sofa and bed. I feel like I am turning into one of my cats!

louisianablue2000 · 05/08/2012 22:11

Maybe TMI but just for the irritating bizarreness it has to be the leaky boobs, I'm only 32 weeks and already leaking colostrum. That is just not right.

Realistically it's the constant tiredness and inability to reach anything due to my enormous belly that still has two months to grow!

Snowgirl83 · 06/08/2012 11:15

Return of sickness since week 20. Am not even going to dignify it with "morning" as it's all day. And though I'm not that hungry, am having to force feed myself like a prize heffer to stave off actual sickness.

Leading to bursting out of maternity sz 10s, crying on ohs shoulder (which is another great symptom recently developed- I cry if anyone is mean to me. And by mean I include not putting enough vanilla in my latte in Starbucks) turning into a bawl when I hear him saying that "oh well, the same maternity trousers you wore at 4 months aren't going to fit you at 7 are they". YES THEY ARE EVEN IF I HAVE TO CUT OFF CIRCULATION, dammit. Followed swiftly by more tears "even you think I'm getting fat..." and an illtimed response; "you're not fat you're pregnant". Worst. Line. Ever.

Oh, and lets not forget the exhaustion. I fell asleep in pregnancy pilates the other day and snored.

Chunkychicken · 06/08/2012 12:12

Louisiana 30wks is not too early - with DD I started leaking at 20wks :( I'm lucky that this time it hasn't really got going (although my boobs seem to be slightly bigger than first time too) but I can sympathise - even if it doesn't make you feel any better when you've got a soggy bra or breastpads type situation going on...:)

NanoNinja · 06/08/2012 13:10

sory if TMI, but:

  1. Vulval varicose veins and soreness
  2. Constipation - bad when not pregnant, unbelievable when pregnant
  3. Nausea - only down in third because its been a month or so since I was suffering from it. At the time it was probably number one...

Showgirl Brew Grin

holler · 06/08/2012 13:51

My pelvis hurts soooo much.

lauraloo09 · 06/08/2012 14:12

SPD def now proud owner of crutches at only 23 weeks so next 17 going to be a nightmare :(

Mikyahrose · 06/08/2012 14:25

The most uncomfortable poking pain up under my ribs on the left side. Kicks in in the afternoon, doesnt seem to hurt if i stay lying/sitting up on the bed. but as soon as i sit elsewhere i feel it. It is a good excuse to not move from the bedroom though. :)

Queenofsiburbia · 06/08/2012 14:40

snowgirl I thought it was just me getting Angry and teary with DH for similar comments. All I want him to say is:
"Gosh your bump is so neat and you still look like you have the same sexy figure as before apart from amazing boobs (although obv I prefer them smaller.) I'm so lucky!"

DOH! they can just say it - it doesn't have to be true!!!!!

I hate the 'you're not fat, just pregnant' thing as it doesnt make sense, I didn't think they were the same thing... Also any excuse to use up abit of pregnancy grumpiness :)

Queenofsiburbia · 06/08/2012 14:41

rose I keep getting that too! So uncomfortable, what the heck is it?!
I'm 23 weeks.

Mikyahrose · 06/08/2012 15:09

I have no idea. I'm pretty sure its not Baby right up there. What i dont get about it, is i dont feel it when sitting on the bed. but as soon as i move to the sofa - although in the same position it hurts. Tut!!

I'm 34 weeks now and have been getting it for quite a few weeks.

It's also not painful as such, just so uncomfortable and annoying!

sayanythingrogerjustrogerme · 06/08/2012 20:37

Yes, yes, "you're not fat, you're pregnant" is just nonsense and I don't know why DH thinks its supposed to make me feel better. He does tell me that I look beautiful, but I look at my humongous arse and thighs and my huge veiny boobs and that ridiculous belly and only get more annoyed because he's bloody lying. Ugh. 4 weeks to go.

Queenofsiburbia · 07/08/2012 07:52

rose I can only assume our babies have started a knitting club & it's the needles poking up!!! I cannot bear to sit unless I'm upright now.

roger it's true, I also get abit cross when I'm told 'but you're beautiful' because I am completely unreasonable only have to look in the mirror for a reality check. Oh dear I think that would be DH's number one of my worst symptoms!
Or waking him at 4am for an hour in floods of tears after a vivid bad dream (when he gets up at 6).

Aargh, big attack of the guilts!

Hermionewastherealhero · 07/08/2012 08:19

Apparently I am snoring now. Mortified. I just keep getting sexier.

I also get the "you aren't fat, you are pregnant" - makes me feel standby and crap

VictoriaBitter · 07/08/2012 08:22

My Top 3 Worst Pregnancy Symptoms:

  1. Fear.
  2. Exhaustion.
  3. Heartburn.
PogoBob · 07/08/2012 09:15

Alternates between heartburn and pregnancy rhinitis. Only 19+4 and it took until 16 weeks for the morning sickness to pass so a bit grumpy!

LoopyLa · 07/08/2012 09:30

Sweating - no not 'glowing' - real drippy shiny face sweating that comes on in an instant, there's no reason for it and last for frigging aaaaaaaaages Blush Blush I'm looking forward to finishing work (9 weeks to go!!!) solely so I don't have to keep sweating in meetings with people all.the.bloody.time. Angry

It's embarrassing and I'm sure people assume it's because of my size..which it isn't as I'm weighing perfectly normal (apart from carrying the baby elephant).

Followed by hip pain at night & sleeplessness Sad

theTramp · 07/08/2012 10:17

I thought the exhaustion, nausea and sore boobs were bad. You ladies are making me dread the next part!

Pippin23 · 07/08/2012 12:42

Waking up with restless legs and jumbled racing thoughts in the middle of the night, every single bloody sodding night. I was tired anyway but this insomnia is killing me! I'm only 19 weeks, and apparently restless legs gets worse in the 3rd trimester. Sigh.

I read that pregnancy insomnia is your body's way of preparing you for not getting any sleep after the baby is born. What a load of crap. Better preparation would be getting lots of sleep!
