Light hearted question, but share yours with people that care and might even empathise (DH is struggling to keep his sympathy face on these days).

Mine would have to be acid reflux I reckon (with a silver for the SPD and a bronze for sore under-carriage)!

STILL throwing up every single day at 23 weeks. Not impressed!

Stinkyminkymoo · 03/08/2012 07:59

Gold - carpel tunnel
Silver - swollen feet/ankles/hands
Bronze - acid reflux

rogersmellyonthetelly · 03/08/2012 08:15

Mine is round ligament pain, followed closely by morning sickness and heartburn after every meal.

bumbez · 03/08/2012 08:21

Mine was parking in a carpark then not being able to get out the car a combination of being too fat as well as too pregnant!

Lovelylace · 03/08/2012 08:29

10+3 and it is TIREDNESS and SPOTTINESS...and I look fat, and feeling a tad ill..the spottiness is awful though, when will I start to bloom Wink

Pochemuchka · 03/08/2012 08:29

In all 3 of my pregnancies it's been the acid reflux.
Bloody evil.
Doesn't seem as bad this time but I'm only 18 weeks.
DC2 I had a little routine: get home from work, eat dinner (ravenous), feel sick, lie down for half an hour, be sick, feel hungry and have reflux, eat . . . Etc etc
Have to agree about the constipation too. After the birth both times it was unbearable! Even a lovely squishy newborn couldn't detract from the horrendousness of it! Grin

Lovelylace · 03/08/2012 08:29

Ohh an RSI carpal tunnel..my hand aches and I work by a computer which is hell..

sparklekitty · 03/08/2012 09:25

Ooo, tricky one. Currently between reflux, pgp and swollen hands/feet, depends on the time of the day. Morning - pgp, afternoon/evening-reflux, nighttime - hands/feet. Think reflux might be the overall winner as its around majority of the time and getting worse. Out to pharmacy today to get something for it.

littlemisssunshine3 · 03/08/2012 09:34

Not being able to poo and then yesterday really needing to poo but discovering that it was to big to come out........then having the other half shove not one but two laxatives up my arse and an hour later the world coming out of my backside faster than that Olympic cyclist on speed.

Orenishii · 03/08/2012 09:36

Initially the heartburn was so, so, so bad. Then the sciatica was shocking. But now I am mostly just really, really, really hot all the time and it's so irritating.

Angelico · 03/08/2012 10:05

Lol LittleMissSunshine

AKMD · 03/08/2012 10:22

Definitely having scar tissue and adhesions being ripped apart by growing baby. Niiiiice.

Aimeelou28 · 03/08/2012 10:32

The exhusting sleep deprivation, thanks to waking up every half hour to an hour for a wee! Not doing well on that front!

TittyWhistles · 03/08/2012 10:33

D'you know what?

It's that feeling there's an ant high up in my left nostril, wiggling about, making me do the sneeze face and needing a sneeze but not being able to do one.

This is my 4th pregnancy and through the years I've had all the symptoms you could imagine, PUPPS, SPD, gestational diabetes, nausea, migraines etc etc etc but this is the one I would trade all the others for [aaargh emoticon]

EmilieFloge · 03/08/2012 10:47

Oh God does it have to be just one?

Having finally (at about 17 weeks) got past the horrible nausea and aversions to everything and everyone - well, no, I still have several aversions, including Sainsburys, the car, and the bathroom (I know)

I now have a stinking cold and a horrible cough, which I am convinced is going to turn into a chest infection, and every time I cough it makes me gag.

The extreme, extreme tiredness was a new bonus for this (third) pregnancy but that has now GONE (thank Goodness) it was like being drugged.

I have had the almost fainting in a shop, the absence of any blood pressure worth a mention (about 80/60 I think last time they took it) and the wetting myself randomly (only a bit - but still, it was a warning I think)

I'm also getting a lot of BH contractions already
but seriously, compared to the first trimester, this one is like being in heaven. I am NEVER going to get pregnant ever again!!!!!

EmilieFloge · 03/08/2012 10:50

Titty, just a thought _ I seem to have a lot of that too, the needing to sneeze/unable to properly clear my throat thing, the sense of almost gagging quite often, for no good reason. It's been suggested that congestion might go away if one gives up dairy.

I'm giving it a try. Just cutting out milk for now and going to see what happens. I think being pg makes all your mucus membranes produce way more than they should, so that would make sense as to why we are having all this bother.

Superslinger · 03/08/2012 10:54

SPD, SPD, SPD, SPD, SPD, SPD, SPBLOODYD!

Superslinger · 03/08/2012 11:06

... silver acid reflux, bronze carpal tunnel. Arghh!

FreeButtonBee · 03/08/2012 11:34

I have had nasea for weeks without actually vomiting but this morning's bile puking episode was a particular low point. Stomach was empty but apparently it needed to be emptier. Also particularly traumatic because I am 12 weeks and was hoping that the sickness thing would start to wear off, not kick off worse than ever.

Mummyof3tobe · 03/08/2012 12:27

Oh I can't tell you how much it has cheered me up to hear how miserable and uncomfortable EVERYONE is - thank you! Of course deep down and well hidden we're simply elated at the utter joy and sheer wonder of creating a whole new being Hmm but mainly very uncomfortable and willing it to be done soon....

Off to request Ranitadine from GP....

I just hate the 10-12 week period in general: feeling sick, being sick, not being able to enjoy it when I'm not being sick because the idea of mmc is completely petrifying me. I am so desperate to see a healthy growing baby on the scan next week.

Of all the symptoms, extreme aversion to all but about four foods (pizza, chicken salad sandwiches, tomato and carrot soup, and a certain type of apple) is probably the most weird and unpleasant..

CaptainHetty · 03/08/2012 13:56

Oh oh someone mentioned the not being able to clear your throat properly thing... I have that! I've been driving people absolutely mad constantly trying to clear my throat and it not having any effect Hmm I guessed it must be related to something I'm eating or drinking, because it's not happening all them time, I just never took the time to sit down and really think about what I had/hadn't eaten. Maybe it is dairy causing it... I'll try cutting it out, see if it stops :o

ArtyJennie · 03/08/2012 14:31

Insomnia! I'm so bloody tired. (37+2)

Vomiting was worse in the early days

gemmapops · 03/08/2012 15:09

for me it's tough one between constant nausea for 4 weeks and now the dry mouth, constant thirst and bad breath. Doesn't matter how much water I drink or how many times I brush my teeth I am still uncomfortable all day and I wake up every morning with a mouth like a sand pit. yuk

PeshwariNaan · 03/08/2012 15:41

Chocolate cravings. I was very ill for 10 weeks so I'm relieved to feel 'normal' again and have been stuffing the chocolate in!! Should probably stop soon though....
