Can a Clear Blue Digital Pregnancy Test give a false negative?

Right here it goes...

So I was due on 12th July and my periods are normally regular. I had unprotected sex on the 29th June to which I've researched and turns out I was most likely ovulating between 25h-30th June. So this is why I've tested quite early...

I done a test yesterday - Boots own brand and it came back with an unclear result. It had what I could make out to be a very very very faint line. So I decided to take a Clear Blue Digital test today which came back 'Not Pregnant'. However I'm not convinced, as I just feel I might be... If that makes sense to anyone?

Is there any chance or has anyone ever used Clear Blue and been given a false negative?
I'm going to re-test in a few days anyway if my period hasn't come but I just wanted to know if it was possible.

Hi I'm Rachel and I'm new on here. I have a 4 year old son, I'm 40 and I've been trying to conceive since September last year. My monthly cycles have recently been ridiculously short, I have also been really unwell and I have needed to take prescription drugs; amoxicillin and prednisolone. After having researched it does look like these can mess up your cycle. Got to day 27 of my cycle today (long for me)and took a pregnancy test using Clearblue digital and came back negative. I had unprotected sex with my husband 3 times this cycle but didn't take any ovulation tests. My monthly cycle can usually be anywhere between 23 and 28 days. Any thoughts anyone?

I know this is a really old thread but I’m new to all this and not sure how to make a new one?

I’ve taken a home pregnancy test (clear blue digital) it’s come up negative but my period is 2 weeks late and I’m normally bang on time.

I was pregnant in Feb and had a miscarriage in March but I’m feeling the same sort of things.
Low down cramping, sore boobs etc.

I’m just wondering if anyone on this thread who said they got a false negative with clear blue went on to actually be pregnant??

Very confused ... am I pregnant or not!!! Faint but visible line on clear blue on Sunday period was due on the Saturday .... I took this as a positive. Thought today better do another test as only done one... clear blue unreadable .. 2 cheapo tests I thought was negative so my partner went and got me a digital clear blue and this displayed not pregnant, took the others out of the bin and there was faint lines on both of the cheapo ones?!?!? 3 days or more late but have pains on the left side and no spotting but like a pink colour .... who knows if I am or not!!! I thought clear blue was supposed to be the best 🤷🏻‍♀️

Little update.
Still haven’t come on my period I’m exactly 8 days past my period due date.
And I am 22DPO!

I done a clear blue digital on Sunday 23rd for a pregnant 1-2 weeks.
4 days later took another and it was not pregnant.

Still no sign of period at all.
I’ve got every pregnancy symptoms
Sore boobs
Boobs got bigger and darker
Backache
VERY VERY MOODY as my other half says😂
And constantly hungry
Urine is very very yellow! (Sorry) haha.

Doctor adviced me to do a test in a weeks time so gotta do one Thursday as that’s when she mentioned it.

Can someone please get back to me I’m worrying so much
People said I’d be bleeding and in some sort of pain with a chemical pregnancy xxxx

Hi, I tooo this test earlier and I’m not sure if it’s positive or not. I’m on the implant which is the most affective so I don’t see how I could be

We had a miscarriage on 5th March , had our 1st negative on 20th .
Had a positive test 2 days ago . Just had another positive on 6 day early clear blue digital but a negative on how many weeks clear blue digital .

Hi, looking for some advice. I was due on my period on the 26th April, had unprotected sex on the 12th and 13th of April. But still no period.

I have taken a few different tests, cheap ones and digital but all saying not pregnant.(I know you shouldn’t but I opened up the digital and I can see a faint line, so two lines) I’ve had lower back ache for days and my breasts are sore but I don’t know what to think 🤦🏼‍♀️ please help, all advice welcome!xx
