I can completely sympathise with you. I'm 39 weeks today and have no energy at all.

I cried earlier because I didn't want to go out today with DH to visit family, I just want to rest at home.

I've just put a load of washing on and loaded the dishwasher to make an attempt at something, now I'm ready to sleep.

Cheekychops84 · 14/07/2012 13:47

Oh me too ! I jus can't b bothered to do anything ! I know I would feel better if I did but nah im sat in front of tv eating mini cheddars ! I wish I could jus walk without waddling and in pain ! Oh and not getting soaked in the rubbish weather !

Oh lovelies :(

I feel for you...I'm only 27 weeks, and beginning to feel this. I seem to suddenly have gotten very big - and not just in my bump. My arms are massive, my thighs rub together and chafe...oh dear :(

But ladies don't be so hard on yourselves! You have created and carried an entire life inside you :) That is such an amazing thing. And you're so close to the end - imagine what it'll be like to have your baby, and be so much mobile again!

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/07/2012 13:54

I'm 32 weeks and feel exactly the same!! (Granted that the broken foot doesn't help matters!)

My DD is with her dad and my OH has just helpfully made me some dinner and now I have a full tummy I'm off to bed for an hour or so before going to pick up DD from her dads n then I might "let" the OH make tea for us all before sloping off to bed again!

The babys kicks have hurt me for a couple of weeks and now it hurts when she flips about :(

I think its perfectly normal to feel like you're being a bit lazy during pg but just remember that you are growing a baby and that it would have been aat around 35 weeks that, if we were in the 1500's, we would have been confined to our beds until the baby arrives and for around 2 weeks after! (I keep reminding my OH of this!) So feel free to take to your bed for a couple of hours in the afternoon and not walk anywhere!

Cheekychops84 · 14/07/2012 13:58

:( it's rubbish isn't it ! Can't wait to have my bubby here ! We are in the process of going into s bigger house too (third child) we are in a 2 bed and the prospect of moving with a newborn kept me up all night ! So much for a relaxing maternity leave ! Think I might take kids to cinema keep my mind off it !

Snap. Im 31w with ds3 and Im currently lay on bed with ds1 watching power rangers whilst ds2 sleeps. My legs dont appear to want to work and i want to stay in bed.

I cant imagine what it'd be like with a broken foot! How did you manage that? Sad

AllIWant85 · 14/07/2012 14:38

I salute those of you with other DC to take care of, I really do.

And a broken foot at 32 weeks?! That can't be easy!

I have sent DH out to enjoy the sunshine. No point us both moping around and at least it's quiet if he's out so I can snooze!

tazmo · 14/07/2012 15:09

Am struggling today too. Had got rid of my black mood for a couple of days but back with a vengeance. I feel bad as dh clearly needs a rest ( he was painting till 1 am and the our son woke up at 5 am), so dh losing patience I think. I haven't even taken the kids out yet and now it's raining! I didn't get to sleep until after 1, then woke up to go to the loo every half hour, then kids woke up ... Think I was lucky to have got a few hours sleep! I just feel like going to bed and staying there. Oh had major munches at 4 am so had to have some cereal. Anyone else feel like their hunger levels are rife at night??

peeriebear · 14/07/2012 15:13

32+5 here, my inactivity levels are at an all time high! DH has been to town for shopping and has now taken the DDs to the circus. My only job is to take the old mutt for a slow walk. So far I haven't even got dressed Blush

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/07/2012 16:03

I actually don't know how I did it!! I did walking around the local shopping centre on thursday!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/07/2012 16:33

Ham all i can say is ouchy!

Im glad in a way were all feeling rubbish in that we can share our laziness. Wink

Ive started dream feeding ds2 who is 39wks so he'll stop waking at night. Now im waking to wee and turn over! Yeah im getting midnight munchies too!

Its warm ish here in Manc.

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/07/2012 16:46

So far no midnight munchies here yet but I'm up at least once a night to pee, take more pain killers and then there is the task of getting comfy again!

I'm sure I wasn't this grumpy with my first!! My 28 year old body is not handling pg as well as my 19 year old one did!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/07/2012 17:48

My body has ran off and hid. I think because i got up the duff 8 weeks after popping the last one out thats my reason for feeling so b-l-u-r-g-h and crap.

And im only 3 yrs older than you!

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/07/2012 18:35

NotGrown - wow! Only 8 weeks? I know a few people who did that and have had the same issues. I don't know if I could do it myself! I've always said I wanted three but tbh, I think I might just stick at two (although as soon as babs gets here I'll probably change my mind again!)

I'm thinking I'm gonna sit on my arse for the rest of the evening as I'm feeling fat and tired now!

I think a can of coke with my tea plus a chocolate bar for afters!!

Cheekychops84 · 14/07/2012 19:32

Well I managed to have a small walk to town then we went to sis in law was good to have a chat whilst kids ran off some energy ! Now I'm back home on my bum in front of tv Blush I'm deff finding this preg harder then my previous 2 aswell. Feeling rather blue today :(

OP posts:
frogalou · 14/07/2012 19:47

I am 27 and half weeks and I feel very unfit. I wasn't that fit before to be fair, but now walking to town (20min) and really exhausts me. I did just that today and my bum cheeks hurts so much (not sure why it is so localised) that I can hardly stand up.

Apart from that, I must admit, I really love being pregnant and feel the baby kicks (she has not been that kicky the past few days which I find unnerving). From what I understand this tiredness is nothing compare to what's coming!
Still, I am very much looking forward to it all.

frogalou · 14/07/2012 19:52

Notgrownupinmyhead.... wow! just read your post, I don't feel I should complain really! Where you on maternity leave from work when you got pregnant again?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/07/2012 20:06

Froga yes i was then 1 months holiday then back on leave. Help me i am mad! It took over a yr to conceive ds2 i was in the wouldn't happen to me camp. What a nobber i was thinking that! I love this stage of being pg apart from the crud bits and still go gooey eyed over every pg woman i see. Me and dh are sat in bed watching Adventure Time and eating cake whilst ds1 is bouncing all over bossing me about. For a stupid moment earlier on in the week i wanted another Blush

No more for me.

Is everyone feeling better now tea and bedtime is out the way?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/07/2012 20:07

I think we need to hire some mobility scooters to help with the very lazy moments! Could we get away with carrying all the children on them?

ithastobeNAICEham · 14/07/2012 20:25

One of my elderly neighbours has one n I've been very tempted to ask if I can borrow it for the walk down to school! My 8 year old breaks up from school on friday so I'm hoping for a good couple of days rest will set me up for the long holidays!

I'm wondering why I thought being pg at this time of year was a good idea! I'm thinking of plans to evict baby at 37 weeks already!!

I'm hoping that during the holidays my family will take my DD off my hands for a few days (she usually goes to stay with her dads mum for a couple of days during holidays etc)

Plus, if the weather is nice I can let her play out lots and take her out for days out once a week or so. This is the plan anyways, I'm not so sure I'll be sticking with it!!

Cheekychops84 · 14/07/2012 20:39

Lol there is a place in my town where you can hire a moniker scooter Grin I am so liking that idea!!!!! I 2nd the kids break up Friday woo hoo ! But again y did I have yet another jul/aug baby all 3 of them 1st was July 2n was Aug this one shud b Jul ! Oh god all 3 of them
For 6 weeks ! Ha ha at least by then I shud b able to
Climb the stairs without looking like I have a spikey pear shove up my *e !
