I'm due september 16th. I'm thinking if I have the baby earlier it'll be so much easier than having to take my DD out of school if I need to be in overnight etc.

I need ideas too, I know about raspberry tea but I don't like it, same for pinapple. All I can think of is sex and as I seem to have no sex drive what so ever, that seems more and more unlikely!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 14/07/2012 22:03

I know how you feel Ham. I cant be bothered with that either!

"ive got heavy swingers wife"

The usual suggestions dont work anyway but ill be on the raspberry leaf again as that made my labour quick.

tazmo · 14/07/2012 22:42

Managed to have a sleep this avo but still feel sick and shattered. Cup of herbal tea and ginger nuts right now. I usually manage to keep walking dogs till the bitter end but it's been a week. Shoulda tried to walk the mutts but one has a sore paw. Good excuse not o anyhow. Just hearing yet more heavy rain outside sigh! Supposed to be a bit better tomorrow for one day - and one day only!!!! Here's hoping for a better nights sleep and the energy to take the kids out tomorrow ( they are 2 and 3 years old so still full on!)

Angelico · 14/07/2012 22:50

Sympathy to all you peeps who are suffering. I'm only 28 weeks but get awful ligament pains when walking, they are really agony and can strike after half an hour or after 5 mins - totally unpredictable. So they put me off walking and I feel so lazy :( Back and hip hurt on and off and I keep thinking "It's only going to get worse!" Confused

At least you are nearly there :) Thanks

Cheekychops84 · 15/07/2012 09:48

Im due the 27th ! Day the olympics starts incase nobody knew ha ha! I was hoping she would arrive by now ! I want to take the kids out and about 7+4 and jus can't get the energy abd don't want to go too far as they both were 4-5 hour labours really quick ! I've read if u have laboured quick in the past not to do the raspberry leaf tea thing ! ? I found a lot if walking brought mine on (if I cam get off my big behind) I do have a cleaning job to do today they may help get her head down a bit further Grin at least the sun is shinning this am (Surrey)

Weve perfect excuses to be lazy. Crikey our kids are still quite young then. Ginger nuts are FIT. Grin

I too have cleaning to do today and considering I didn't get to sleep til almost 6am I don't feel that bad. Thanks ds2! I wish i had a big arse.

Thanks for the flowers!

ithastobeNAICEham · 15/07/2012 10:48

I'm probably gonna try walking loads and getting stuff around the house done, from looking on the tinterweb it looks like the only way this baby is ever gonna come out!!

I was induced with my DD and I know that once it got going it was pretty quick IIRC! I'm hoping not to be induced this time so I'm thinking sweeps from 40 weeks!! I'm hoping to not go that far though!! 37 to 38 weeks is where I want to get to!!!

tazmo · 15/07/2012 11:33

Had a better sleep- took paracetamol, had lads of gaviscon and had cereal before I went to bed! Seemed to work giving me a better night's sleep. Now kids wanting to go to softplay and the park! Think we will go for some retail therapy. I am due 28 July but c section on Thursday all being well!!!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 15/07/2012 11:51

Taz, hope everything goes well on thursday!! Glad you got a better nights sleep. I was up at 5 for a wee, drink and painkillers. Unfortunatly paracetamol seems to be making me sick at the moment so its either copius pain or feeling/being sick :(

Another braxton hicks... Surely having anywhere up to 10 a day is a good thing?? 33 weeks this week so only another 4 weeks to go til evict baby plan is in action!!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 15/07/2012 11:53

Ill try walking too. And digging the garden. I dont want to go over either.

Glad you ad a better night Taz, it makes all the difference. I woke ds2 at 10 and just put hom back to bed now. Found the Anbesol thank chuff. He barely slept and has just left me wearing what little food i could get in him!

Bet you cant wait fir Thursday!

Softplay Grin i wish there was somewhere more local i could take ds1 then i could just leave him to it for an hour.

Cheekychops84 · 15/07/2012 14:38

Lol cleaning nearly killed me :( I'm not going for that long walk now my back is killing me :( but manage to get half a pasty and a sandwich down me in town Blush and I've prob od'd on gaviscon and orange flavour rennies ! Now waiting for dinner : D may go for walk after that actually to make sure it doesbt get stuck ! Glad I'm having a better day today after crying episode that my tops are too short and I now look like one of those old ladies with saggy bits at the bottom so not good :(

Were all still in pj's but we really need bread and milk so ill have to move Angry

ithastobeNAICEham · 15/07/2012 16:46

So far today I've washed the car seat cover and put it all back together, let the dogs out in the back garden and let them have a run about. Sorted out babies stuff for the hospital bag and sorted through the storage boxes that are holding the babies clothes until I can get some drawers sorted for her! Now to make tea. We are having a full sunday roast as I really fancy one n my OH can't cook to save his life, so it falls to me to cook!!

Im thinking I may have to have some fudge cake for afters too! Just to be greedy.

tazmo · 15/07/2012 17:04

Hi we just back from soft play. Bank card declined! Too much shopping obviously! Got visual disturbances which I get anyway out of pregnancy so not sure how much to take it seriously. Bp 140/90 which is not bad but higher than usual for me ( usually 110/60 ). Dh said to rest for 5 mins and will take it again!!!! T

Cheekychops84 · 15/07/2012 18:02

Oh dear to the bank card ! Surprised mine still works ! I'm going to go find the chocolate ! I bet ur full after ur roast ! Yummmmmm

I'm due end of August and over the last few days I have shocked myself with how lazy I've been. I get up, have some breakfast and then settle down for a nap.

The only thing I seem to have any energy for is eating vast quantities of everything. I can hardly bring myself to calculate it but I must have put away 4000 calories today.

And then I wonder why I'm drinking gaviscon by the gallon Blush

Notgrownupinmyhead · 15/07/2012 21:49

Its great how much food we can manage to eat. I hate Gaviscon and dread drinking it.

Gillian Mc Keith would shout at us all.

tazmo · 15/07/2012 22:17

Am well unimpressed. Howfed myself out of bed to make Betty crocker's devils food cake. Was well looking forward to the icing, only to find out its sold separately. Well peed off. All pg ladies - boycott this product!!!!!!!

Cheekychops84 · 16/07/2012 05:12

They've done that for years! I made it with my mum about 12 years ago only to discover we had to go back and buy the icing ! It's in a bug round tub ! Very naughty they are still doing this !

ithastobeNAICEham · 16/07/2012 09:44

Gavsicon makes me sick but luckily I've not really had any heartburn yet.

The fudgecake was yummy! Its one from iceland and I had half of it

My Dsil is being induced today!! She is having twins and has managed to get to 36 weeks! Can't wait to meet my nephews!!

tazmo · 16/07/2012 11:03

Just down from bed after poor dh got up with kids. Major pressure down below - presumably due to baby's head way down there. Fed the dogs and had breakfast but feel another zzzzzzzzz coming on as didn't get to,sleep until after 2 am. Dd woke up again. Wet bed despite a nappy on. Ds in our bed just before 6 am but he just lay there humpfing about until my hubby took him downstairs for brekky. Just had brekky but feeling sick. Yuk! Hopefully I'll have energy for tidying and taking dogs out later. But only 3 days to go. Exciting!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 16/07/2012 12:34

Taz, hope you feel better soon!! I'm gonna get my head down for a while now too.

I've taken my dd to school this morning n fed n sorted the dogs, I was considering taking the big one ( I have 3 dogs) out for a walk but my neighbour asked if he wanted to go out with them so that's one less thing to worry about!! I've put the other two out in the back on their chains and they can both reach their water bowls n shelter just in case it rains.

Neighbours being loud again so hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep!!

Hope everybody is feeling a little more pro active!

Cheekychops84 · 16/07/2012 14:41

Feeling fat again today :( already had two toast this am jacket pot and salad at lunchtime 2finger kitkat and mini cheddars in-between! Wish this baby would b out so I can diet already ! My bump is literally sitting halfway over my thighs now ! I'm so worried this baby is gonna b huge ! (I'm still bloody hungry damn it) !

OP posts:
tazmo · 16/07/2012 15:28
