Points borderline - had pre eclampsia during labour the first time. Was ok second time. Was 39 weeks (just 38 weeks + 2 days). The visuals worried me yesterday as haven't had it since 1 st trimester. Been for a walk to try and bring it down. Yes have own bp monitor and does seem to be relatively accurate. Had a bit of protein in urine at last m'wife visit but she said I was allowed at 38 wks. Ankles a bit swollen but not excessive. See how it goes!! When bp did go up in labour, it went high pretty quickly and had to have emergency c. Only 3 days to go sigh. Just want baby to arrive safely. Had 3 friends around me who have had rotten luck recently so shows me what can go wrong!!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 16/07/2012 19:20

Taz, I'd second ringing the labour suite and asking them what they think.

I'm almost constantly hungry too, my tea took far too long to cook and I was actually getting upset as it didn't seem to be cooking at all!!

Now laid on the sofa and my OH is laid across my stomach n getting kicked by the baby!! She knows daddy is near! If he calls her name then she kicks him in the head!

I'm wondering if I have a bladder infection as I seem to be going to the toilet a hell of a lot today :( I seem to spend all my time going to toilet or coming down from the toilet! Its doing my head in!!

Ooh, I just found a magnum in the freezer... What to do with it LOL!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 16/07/2012 20:20

Betty crocker devil cake makes me do a love wee the icing more so.

Dont feel bad fir eating loads. The extra weight will soon fall off after anyway as youll be using extra calories staying awake and running about. Ive put loads on.

Ds2 is a bit off and has barely eaten anything the past 2 days i think its teeth time.

Off into warrington 2 moro for a bit of shopping.

tazmo · 16/07/2012 23:27

Has rather overlooked pork chops which have given me indigestion. Hungry now and it's nearly midnight! Just written invites for ds 4 th birthday party. Its end aug but felt I needed to get it organised!

Watch out or bladder/ urine infections. Can bring on labour (happened to me first time round! Was sore and was peeing nothing! That is what then led onto pre eclampsia so get it choked.

Teething - don't u just love it. My dd still suffering with cold/ cough tho she is a lot better. Her canines are coming thru too so she is cotta grumps! Warrington eh? My parents from Lancashire but we are now settled in Scotland. Still have a lot of family there! Tired but midnight snack due methinks!!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 17/07/2012 05:14

Indigestion me too. Had Chinese as I really couldnt be bothered to cook Grin

Notgrownupinmyhead · 17/07/2012 05:15

Well kids fed and off to nursery, clothes wash on and dishwasher load on! Only had 3 hours sleep due to awakenings in the night by dc and just generally well, anxious and excited. I feel remarkably awake considering but should get some sleep as I prob won't sleep, much we'd night with having to fast ( not looking forward to that bit given how ravenous I seem to be right now. Cannot sleep when tummy growling!). Have to go to hospital tomorrow to arrange informed consent and get drugs ordered etc.

We lived in hay dock, but moved to Scotland when I was 8. Would agree, Scotland beautiful and a great place to live! Especially with young kids.

ithastobeNAICEham · 17/07/2012 10:29

Ive not been sore when peeing as yet, just going lots and lots!! I've got a doctors appt for monday with my foot so I'm going to mention it then.

Baby spent most of the night kicking daddy in the back so we are both shattered this morning, I was up 3 times to go pee and I need to get myself back to bed at some point n try get some actual sleep!

My mum called me last night and I am now a proud aunty to twins!! Does anyone else have loads of people around them that are due to have or have just had their babies? I'm 32 nearly 33 weeks and I want my baby now!!

I've been having dreams about her and what she is going to look like! I need to know! I'm not good with waiting, can you tell!!

tazmo · 17/07/2012 15:27

Well I must be getting jet lag. Sleep from 3 am to 2 pm this avo. Whoops. V little housework done. Dh taking off the morning so we can do lunch. Will I be able to drag my arse out of bed? Need to take mutts for a walk. Will do that now as due to rain soon : o ( - lots of my friends babies due in oct but some friends been having bad luck. One born at 25 weeks and sadly died due to congenital heart defect and she had no amniotic fluid at the end to develop lungs etc. not good especial as ivf baby and would have been first one. Another friend wrote on her website a poem about baby being too perfect for this world .... Not sure what happened there or how far along. Makes you realise how small and precious babies are!!!

ithastobeNAICEham · 17/07/2012 16:36

That's such sad news! I've lost 2 (one at 10 weeks and one at 15weeks) myself. Its so hard and does make you realise how precious the little ones are and how precious life is! I've had bleeding in this pregnancy too, I was so scared and so worried but she has pulled through and continues to do so!!

Life sucks so much sometimes!

I worked out I've got 5 friends/family members pg due at various times over the rest of the year, 2 others have just had their's!

Time to start tea now, don't know what I'm cooking yet but I'm sure I'll find something!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 17/07/2012 17:25

Even though I moan about them i know im lucky to have them. Pair of monkeys.

There are 10 houses on our walk and 4 are having babies. 1 about 3 days ago 2 in September and 1 in November. My best mate from school is due 10 days after me.

Mum has booked to go on holiday when this one is due. Grr.

You all sound a bit more chipper today! Git Ds1 school uniform before. Thats gone fast!

tazmo · 17/07/2012 17:34

Well officiallyknackered after taking dogs for a walk. It is only 1.5 miles but uphill half the way round. Too many darned flies as well. Not the dinner u expect for you and little one (swallowed one!).

Roll up roll up - what weight will my baby be. Just for fun- one guess each. First son, born at 39 weeks and was 7 lb 13 oz. second daughter, born at 39 weeks plus five and weighed 8 lb 12 oz. this baby being born at 38 weeks plus five days so a little earlier than the other two but was measuring 2.5 weeks ahead around the tummy at 31 weeks. Bump feels big and all baby!

As I said, just for fun!

Right, need to pick up my dear children from nursery; let mayhem begin!!!

tazmo · 17/07/2012 20:53

Thread still ok?

Notgrownupinmyhead · 17/07/2012 21:35

I think so...

I think your next one will be 5oz heavier. Hmm you all set?

Was their madness and mayhem after nursery? Ds1 finishes on Thursday. I hope the weather dries out so I can let him play in the back garden. Ive got ds2's single travel system and a few other bits to put on Ebay at some point too.

Hopefully sleep will happen tonight.

tazmo · 17/07/2012 21:55

The thread seemed to disappear - all set, hmmmmm - hard to know. As its all planned, it feels a bit... Organised. The labour bag is obviously different. Not allowed to eat or drink before... Not sure. Bit worried about having the c section being fully compus mentus. Had had lots of other drugs to dull the impact of having a c section so will be weird having a spinal when I'm lucid. The other timesiwad at the end of my tether and keen to have the baby out safe via c section... But takes the magic out of it a bit when u won't go into labour naturally. But in a way, I am a lot calmer.

So 8 lbs 15 oz you reckon? Am hoping to break the 9 lb barrier ( will make me feel less guilty about breaking the 14 stone barrier), but don't reckon it will be. 10 pounder like my colleague at work who just had her first!!! I reckon about 8 lbs 4 oz but will see.

Dd was bouncing off the walls. She has had a bug but is getting better so back to her mischievous self which is better than the crying and tantrums we've had of late. Ds is v impatient for new arrival. He though granny grandad would be here tonight and baby here tomorrow. He was adamant we'd told him 2 sleeps! He was knackered tonight and hardly ate a thing. Hope he's not going to get this bug! Well, bath time. Have been wearing normal elastic acted trousers but they have made me feel well uncomfortable!!!!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 18/07/2012 05:15

Ive not dared weigh myself, im not too bothered about putting the weight on cos i know with lack of sleep and looking after the others itll soon drop off (Ihope). DS1 didnt go to sleep again til after 10 and once again had no tea. Then he was up again at 3 then DS2 at 4. One day he'll sleep through!

Thats just what you need when you're feeling a but rubbish - poorly small people to make feel better. I hope t'otherun doesn't get it!

I cant believe Im awake again at thus god awful time.

Have you had a section before?

Cheekychops84 · 18/07/2012 07:57

Good luck tamzo ! Although dnt think u will need it I'm sure they will look after u!!!! Let us know how it all goes and when u have ur little one in your arms (not jelous at all) Envy hehehhehe.

I'm down again today fed up with not being able to bloody move ! I could cry right now with frustration but not going to as kids will think I've lost it! My back is killing me my bump is aching can't figure out of it's cramps or jus bruising ? I his want to be able to go for a bloody walk to stretch my legs without feeling like I'm going to pass out :( this baby needs out now !!!!!!

Cheekychops84 · 18/07/2012 08:01
