What did your first baby weigh? And then what did your second?

I'm just interested to know!

My first baby was born term (40+1) at 6lb 10.

Currently due with second and they've averaged him to be around 7.5 - 8lbs.

Just wondering if there tends to be a general trend? How much bigger are second than first? Then are third even bigger...?

I only have 1 DS atm, but my mum:

DS1: 6lb 6
DD1 (me): 6lb 7
DD2: 5lb 12

My son weighed 6lb 8, and I am hoping DS2 (due Oct) will weigh about the same :)

DS1: 9lb10oz at 40+4
DS2 : 8lb at 35+5 (thank goodness that one never went to term !)

1st- 7lbs 10 at 40 + 0
2nd- 7lbs 1 39+ 4

1st 5lbs 10oz 35 weeks
2nd 9lbs 2 oz 40+2 weeks
3rd 7lbs 7oz 37 weeks
4th 8lbs 0oz 39weeks

Both mine (ds then dd) weighed exactly the same 7lb 15oz

7lb 9 (39 + 5)
10lb (40 + 8)

1st 10lb 1oz @40 weeks
2nd 8lb 4oz @37 weeks
3rd 8lb 11oz @40 weeks

Ds 6lb 6 oz at 40. 6 weeks.
Dd 5lb 13oz at 39 weeks (just, she was born at 00.30 so half hour into my 39th week) :o

DD1 41 wk 9lb12
DD2 38wk 7lb11
Ds 39wk 9lb6

10lb 4oz at 41+6.

8lb 10 ds 40 weeks
9lb 2 dd 41+3

6lb 8oz 40 weeks
5lb 4oz 30 weeks (stillborn due to severe illness during pregnancy)
8lb 14oz 34 weeks (gestational diabetes)
9lb 8oz 40 weeks (gestational diabetes)

Sorry correction, third baby was born at 36 weeks not 34. I was induced early because of his size. :)

dd1 - 8lb 7 at 41 weeks
dd2 - 8lb 1 at dead on 40 weeks
dd3 - 6lb 3 at 39 weeks (stressful pregnancy!)

10lb 5 at 39+5
8lb 15 at 39+5
6lb 10 at 39+4 (no sense of timing, that one)

9lb 3oz at 42wks
9lb 5oz at 42 wks
10lb 13oz at 42wks
8lb exactly at term plus 10.

first four were boys then no 5 was a girl, no idea if that was why she was smaller, she is big for her age now at 18mths :)
