What did your first baby weigh? And then what did your second?

I'm just interested to know!

My first baby was born term (40+1) at 6lb 10.

Currently due with second and they've averaged him to be around 7.5 - 8lbs.

Just wondering if there tends to be a general trend? How much bigger are second than first? Then are third even bigger...?

I had been in and out of hospital several times in the last 6 weeks with dd due to repeated kidney infections which had me on a drip unable to keep anything down for days at a time though!

I was told by the consultant that second Babies are normally slightly bigger than the first, but that girls are generally slightly lighter than boys so we were expecting the same size
