I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

Explain to him that you will damage him if he doesn't help :o

Baby cannot be damaged by sex unless he has an inordinately long and pointed willy :o

BlueAndRedAndWhite · 04/06/2012 20:17

I'm here, still pregnant. Getting fed up of even my DH jokingly asking if I've had the baby yet Angry, would I get diminished responsibility do you think? Grin

No pains, no major BH, no nothing quite frankly. I shouldn't complain really, DC's 1 and 3 have both been sick today-so the chances are its my turn next.

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 20:19

Oh,dear.DV then?Threat abuse?
Will try to nudge him again tonight...

SESthebrave · 04/06/2012 20:27

I'm still here too...

BlueandRed - hope whatever the DC have passes you by.

Lime - my DH also isn't too enthusiastic at the thought of a shag.

Distracted ourselves today by having my parents over for a BBQ. But that's another day gone now...
Trying to change my mindset though. It's not that our bodies aren't doing what they should be, it's more like that our bodies are just too expert at being pg!

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 20:57

Sorry,was away scoffing the dinner.
Right then, who's having a posh kid tomorrow then?

BlueAndRedAndWhite · 04/06/2012 21:00

Why would it be a posh kid?

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 21:02

Have you got the same about the dates?I'm looking at them(know it's ridiculous but shows how bored I am) thinking 03.06.12 is ok,04 is fine.05-hmmm,not really, not fancy that,06 fine,07...and so on and so on.I'm just loosing my mind slowly,or maybe i lost it already Hmm

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 21:03

Queen's jubilee tomorrow?

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 21:08

Are you taking anything to read with you to the hospital?I packed a book, just in case i have some spare time...Everything's packed in small cabin suitcase, just took it downstairs.BTW what did you pack your things into?I haven't got any bags hence the suitcase.
You can say that I'm truly bored...

BlueAndRedAndWhite · 04/06/2012 21:13

Oh didn't realise giving birth tomoro meant we get a posh kid, Grin excellent-I'm up for that!

Nah nothing to read, I doubt I'll have time, this is DC4-I'm likely to be on a 6 hour discharge. Although the odd magazine will probably come in handy. I usually pack a suitcase but this time I have one of those huge reusable shopping bags for my stuff and a little case for baby's stuff. We needed the suitcase so couldn't use it!

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 21:13

We have the opposite situation regarding jumping dh, he is well up for it but I just don't feel like I could. I want to try it but just feel so uncomfortable down there and baby keeps pressing on my bladderSad

mrsshears · 04/06/2012 21:23

Still here too Sad
Didn't expect anything else really, got loads of cramps again tonight as usual which no doubt won't go anywhere, again,as usual.
It worries me a bit that all these cramps might actually be doing something and when it does happen it might be quick and catch us by surprise,or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 22:08

Tried to convince DH to bonk help.He just evacuated himself to bed:(
I'll remember that AngryAngryAngry

Commutinghell · 05/06/2012 00:36

Thanks for the crossed fingers dairy. I'm in the same situation as you, DH is gagging for it and more than willing to get things going. I've managed it a couple of times but we tried again last night but I couldn't do it, just too sensitive down there after the sweep. Come on babies, I think it's time someone else on this thread gave birth. Hope tonight is the night for one of us Grin

Kveta · 05/06/2012 06:29

Any babies appear overnight? Mime now has less than 18 hours to redeem herself by arriving on time. Which won't happen.

LimeFlower · 05/06/2012 07:20

Morning everybody :)
Any babies overnight?I'm afraid what they say about full moon is bollocks.Still here.
Since the beginning of the pregnancy I had the problems with throat/nose sinuses.Goodness knows what it is,I'm freaking out.Dr said i won't get anything for that until i'm pg.Woke up this morning with uneasy feeling, had a nosebleed, now all i can taste is blood and expell bloody snots.Nice.Sorry if tmi.

Who's MIA then? Swivel for sure, april and i haven't seen used2be for a while. Now,where's this bloody list...

SilverSage · 05/06/2012 08:18

Morning.

I had a show this morning, but I'm trying not to get too excited, as I know that this doesn't necessarily mean that labour is imminent. One of my books says it can be as long as 6 weeks still!! Anyone have any idea of what the average is? People with previous DCs, what was your experience of length between show and labour?

GingerLemonTea · 05/06/2012 08:27

Still here. Had twinges yesterday evening whilst doing some cleaning, but only lasting 1-2 secs. Woke at 2am, a bit twingy, but nothing.
Today I'm going to repack my hospital bag as I expect to be in at least one more night due to induction. Then I'm going to go a quick trip to shops, then finish cleaning as after tomorrow the next time I'm back at house will be with a baby.
Looks like I will be getting induced tomorrow morning.

LimeFlower · 05/06/2012 08:44

Silver at least something is happening

What time are you supposed to go to hospital tomorrow Ginger?

McKayz · 05/06/2012 08:52

I am going to re join this thread as I am beyond fed up now.

I had loads of BHs on Sunday and felt awful but nothing happened. I really could do with having the baby this week as then I don't have to worry about asking people to take the boys to school for me. My DH works abroad and won't be home for the birth.

Silver I started having contractions straight after I had my show with DS2 but I think that with first babies it can be quite a while between a show and labour.

Commutinghell · 05/06/2012 08:57

Morning. Still here and babyless. Fingers crossed for silver, lime and Ginger. you all sound like you will have babies within a couple of days by hook or by crook! I'm booked in for another violation today, lucky me!

LimeFlower · 05/06/2012 09:09

Commuting ouch,thanks and good luck:)

McKayz welcome, tell me about being fed up...

No baby here, i wish i'd never expected this one to be at the same gestation (37+2) as DD, then i don't think i'd feel nearly so fed up. Ended up having a little bounce on trampoline with DD and friends kids yest. Nothing. Surprise Surprise.

Off for acupuncutre this morning, have had it throughout pregnancy, but today i think she will try and 'induce.' But clearly like everything else, it'll only work if the stubborn little one gives it the green light ;-)

Lets hope at least one of us on here has a jubilee baby! x

Rrrrayray · 05/06/2012 09:22

O and good luck with Sweep Commuting.
I have midwife tomorrow and am considering asking her for a sweep, or at least asking her to assess me for a sweep, as Due date falls on my DH's first day of JURY SERVICE!!! Urgh!!!!!!!! I think i already know the answer though as NICE guidelines say 41 weeks for second plus babies! Hmmmpft.
