I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

Morning. Still here. Shocked that it was cold enough for a frost this morning Lime! So glad I took all my veg plants into the greenhouse! Hope everyone manages to enjoy the ok weather and the jubilee celebrations! Grin

Commutinghell · 04/06/2012 09:17

Oh, and a teeny bit comes out of me if I try to express but only since watching the online video. Works better if I sit with a hot wet towel on my breasts in the bath for a while before I try.

SilverSage · 04/06/2012 09:29

Morning. Still here, and it was cold enough for the heating to come on this morning!

I got excited this morning, thinking my waters had broken, as when I woke up my knickers and panty liner were saturated, but it hadn't soaked through to the bed, and nothing since, so I think it must have just been discharge. Oh well, the waiting game continues. I might go for a walk in a minute, as judging by the weather forecast it could be the last day this week where it's not pouring with rain.

SilverSage · 04/06/2012 09:32

PS. I can get 5ml if I hand express (I expressed into a measuring cup once out of interest), but I think that's really unusual for colostrum. And having nothing in the milk bar before the baby arrives is apparently no indication of your ability to bf after the birth.

RachelWalsh · 04/06/2012 09:51

I had no leaking from my breasts before having ds1, none at all. I went on to bf exclusively to 6 months and then continued to 18 months no bother at all. I have little bits this time round but I think that is because this is baby 2 and they know wha the are doing! I also didn't leak at all when I was bfing, never needed breastpads but again that was no indication of milk or not as there was plenty!

Feel like discharge is increasing today (mmmmm - there's some tasty info for you all pre-brekkers!) so you never know... That said, we have just finished the bathroom, I want to get lots of housework done, cook for the freezer and me and ds1 have tickets for the wiggles final tour on Wednesday! I have been joking to dh that if he arrives during the wiggles then we wil have to call him Anthony Jeff Murray Greg Wags Feathersword Dorothy Ourlastname! Hahahaahhaaha!

Commutinghell · 04/06/2012 09:58

Oh my goodness the wiggles. They are so frightening. If my baby ever gets into the wiggles her dad will have to take her to the live show, I have proper wiggleophobia. Blush

RachelWalsh · 04/06/2012 10:24

Dh feels the same! Deite me suggesting he could get a black wiggles top and be the fifth wiggle, a kind of strange Robert smith goth one.

RachelWalsh · 04/06/2012 10:24

Despite.

Commutinghell · 04/06/2012 10:41

Glad it's not just me, I might start a wiggleophobes anonymous self help group Wink

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 11:05

Lime also wanted to reassure you that te amount of milk/colostrum you have now is no indication of how much you'll have once baby is here. Some people leak in pg, some don'tSmile It was thought a babies tummy was the size of their fist but actually, when they're born their stomach is the size of a small marble so they really just need tiny drops of milk at firstSmile

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 11:54

Thank you very much ladies for the milk bar reassurance.Boobs a bit sore, hope there will be something in once the baby comes.
Sitting in bed as just woken up from snooze-rain droplets on the window so was right to leave the washing inside.
It's cold outside-the air has this distinctive "notherly chilly" smell.

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 19:20

Hello:)
Is anybody here or are you all in labour? Wink

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 19:28

I'm here and I am definitely not in labour Sad

Very very slight periody ache the last half hour but I'm used to having that for weeks before labour so I'm sure nothing will be happening soon . Can you tell I'm already fed up and I'm not even officially 'overdue' till thurs!

Kveta · 04/06/2012 19:31

Also still here! Nothing happening except getting messages and phone calls asking if baby is here yet. Trying to remain polite...

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 19:36

Bored like hell.Spent all day reading book/on laptop/snoozing.I know, everybody tells me to enjoy the last minutes pf peace before the baby comes, but just so fed up.I'm going to make a cake tomorrow, coconut and custard, yum, yum.Pissed off with sitting idle.

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 19:36

Kveta or anybody else-have you tried galloping?

Commutinghell · 04/06/2012 19:39

Yup, I'm still here too. Lots of walking, another sweep tomorrow which is likely to be just as successful as the last one. Then just waiting for Friday and induction. Sad

DairyNips · 04/06/2012 19:40

Hey commuting fingers crossed something happens for you. I suppose either way you'll have your baby to cuddle by sat though Smile

Kveta · 04/06/2012 19:43
Blush I did try galloping, felt ridiculous!

Today I have:
Jumped DH
Galloped
Gone for a long walk
Bfed DS
Eaten licorice
Purchased some evening primrose oil for over night insertion

I am still very pregnant...

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 19:45

So you're saying don't bother...

Kveta · 04/06/2012 19:48

Try everything you can be bothered with! I am just doing these things to kill time really. Except jumping DH of course :)

GingerLemonTea · 04/06/2012 19:52

Still here. Fed up :(

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 19:59

I want to jump DH,he doesn't want to :(

Kveta · 04/06/2012 20:04

Have you explained the concept of a mercy shag yet? As in, he enjoyed getting baby in there, he can bloody well enjoy starting the eviction process! Plus it may be a while before he can do it again!

LimeFlower · 04/06/2012 20:07

Mercy shag :o

I tried but he's terrified that he'll harm the baby.Sweet ignorance, told him to google it and check.I said to him after last mw app she recommended a good bonk. His answer was "you must be joking" :(
