I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

This is very gross. Feel like i am wetting myself. Uh. Breaking water is nasty.

Commutinghell · 03/06/2012 14:25

Ooh Weezie have they broken your waters? Any contractions yet? Hope it's all going well. Very excited for you.

Kveta · 03/06/2012 14:38

commuting poor you, could it be your bloody show? I had a period like bleed after my sweep last time, scared the crap out of me, because nobody had said it was likely to happen! is it mucusy at all?

Weezie I am so glad I had my waters broken once I was epidural-d up last time, urgh, sounds miserable. Hope you're cuddling baby soon.

Weezie85 · 03/06/2012 14:41

Im am having irregular tightenings as they are calling them. Got about 45 minutes to get regular otherwise it will be the drip for me.

RachelWalsh · 03/06/2012 17:14

I am going to gallop everywhere for however long it takes.

You know what I'm looking forward to? Eating a shit load of Parma ham, salami and rare fillet steak.

RachelWalsh · 03/06/2012 17:15

Fx for your contractions getting regular weezie. That said I was induced with a drip with ds1 and it was ok if a bit intense.

EmilyD2012 · 03/06/2012 17:59

I'm 39 and more than ready to meet my little man - ankles are swollen, stretch marks keep appearing, peeing every five minutes, urgh :( Sex is the one all my friends swear by but I couldn't feel less sexy if I tried!!

EmilyD2012 · 03/06/2012 17:59

Yes Rachel! And brie!!

used2bthin · 03/06/2012 18:23

IME sex doesn't work! Though two friends who went over their due date said it did for them so maybe it does when you are ready? Good luck weezie and commuting!

SilverSage · 03/06/2012 18:58

Sex definitely hasn't worked for me so far, but I am only 39 weeks.

BlueAndRedAndWhite · 03/06/2012 19:59

Sex has not worked for me either.

And now I'm peed off because I had my head set on today being the day. I am 39 weeks, he should be here!!!!

Kveta · 03/06/2012 20:28

I am thinking about spending tomorrow galloping now. so fed up.

hope we get some more babies on this thread tomorrow and that one of them is mine

sex might work here, but with light sleeping DS and light sleeping FIL in rooms on either side of us, doubt we'll be trying it :o

this list has 40 ways to induce labour naturally btw :) total bollocks I'm sure, but am getting desperate!!

GingerLemonTea · 03/06/2012 20:49

Kveta, I've tried about 17 from the list, can't face anymore.
Did 4 mile walk & had reflexology again today, twinges throughout, but not much since.

Weezie85 · 03/06/2012 21:16

Rebecca Ann was born at 18.33 after 2.5 hours of labour. Will let you know more when I get home.

used2bthin · 03/06/2012 21:29

Ah weezie brilliant news! Congratulations x

redandblue me too, and all signs have gone. Not even had any BH today.

Smallwonder · 03/06/2012 21:36

Congratulations to Weezie85 Grin Grin
Fingers crossed for all...I have a few days to go yet and should be thankful I know this yet the days are passing so very slowly.

GingerLemonTea · 03/06/2012 21:41

Congratulations Weezie! Thats great!

BlueAndRedAndWhite · 03/06/2012 21:55

Congrats weezie Grin Grin.

used we shall have to commiserate together. I was so set on today being the day Blush. I hadn't imagined coming to bed tonight still pregnant.

SESthebrave · 03/06/2012 21:58

Congrats weezie :) Pleased things didn't drag on too long for you.

I survived the party without too many cringeworthy comments. In the end it was probably a good distraction.

Commuting - I had bright red blood after my sweep yesterday which then turned brown by late afternoon. Still a bit there today.

Kveta - thanks for the list! I'm also so desperate I'm tempted to try some galloping Grin

Hope we all get good sleep tonight - at least it's cooler!

Commutinghell · 03/06/2012 22:07

Congratulations weezie Grin

mrsshears · 03/06/2012 22:12

Congrats weezie

kveta Will take a look at the list and let you know tomorrow Grin

sick and tired of thinking everything is starting to happen only for it to turn to nothing, i was having quite painful contractions every 15 mins at one stage today only for them to stop altogether Sad

DairyNips · 03/06/2012 22:14

Massive congratulations WeezieGrin

used2bthin · 03/06/2012 22:39

blueandred me too! Really thought the baby would turn up! I am going to look at that list too although feel a bit like the baby never wants to come out.

Anyone else feel stuff leaking out of them when they walk about? Its so disgusting! Keep thinking I've wet myself! Well sometimes I have Grin

LimeFlower · 03/06/2012 23:04

Congrats weezie ,at last!Welcome to the world little one!

kveta ,had a look at the list, some things look interesting.I'm not able to do the galloping though.Like the video of woman dancing and breaking her waters :)
Maybe should go clubbing? :o

LimeFlower · 03/06/2012 23:11

Commuting from what i heard it's common to have some bleeding after a sweep. When i last saw mw she asked me whether i wanted a sweep as i was 41 weeks then.I said that I heard about sweep being painful if cervix is not ripe enoungh and if that's the case sweep won't help,it will just cause pain. She agreed so she said I'll feel your cervix first,if it's not favourable then will leave it.So she did.Cervix high, hard and closed, what's the point in causing the pain? Why all mws can't take such approach?
