Time to evict baby-new thread for heavily pregnant ladies!

I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn .

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 . For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

Will we have a roll call to see how far along we are, who is due next, maybe copy & paste so it keeps it all together...

I'm 41 weeks pregnant today and as much as I love feeling my little girl move I can't wait to hold her plus I don't have to worry about her having a qutie days when she decides not to move when she gets here xx

How to people destress when with people who are stressing you out? Want to go into labour naturally but its never going to happen when stressing.

Can i add myself ladies? i'm not overdue yet but i'm throughly fed up and carrying a baby that was estimated at 7lb 8oz at 35+ weeks and swollen to within an inch of my life!

I'm only 38+6 today, but still fed up and had enough. One of our neighbours asked DH the other day if the baby had arrived yet. I was like, seriously?? She's not even due for another week! Ridiculous.

Not seen Dr yet. Been on monitor and all ok. MW tried a sweep. She said cervix closed and posterior (that's not good is it?) but "getting soft" (slight glimmer of hope?). I also bled immediately afterwards which she said could be normal effects of sweep or could be a show. I'd like to know which!!

Now just waiting for Dr. MW reckons they'll book me in for induction on Wednesday. DH keen for me to ask for a CS but I'm in 2 minds.

Weezie, I had reflexology yesterday. It has relaxed me a little.
SES, closed & posterior isn't good, same as me.
Am hoping to be one of those people who gets no real build up, goes to bed, then wakes at 3am in labour :)

38w today (by dating scan, 39w by my dates), but been contracting on and off for a few weeks... Plug went last week so it really is just a waiting game now!

39+4, induction at 41 weeks :)

Just had nice long nap then need to prepare for FIL arriving from overseas this evening. Still having niggly contractions from time to time, but they don't appear to want to develop into anything.

Commuting i know,wish my DH wasn't blabbing to anybody my EDD-maybe i had a gut feeling that was going to be late,I used to give a vague answer "end of May".If i ever get pregnant again i'll add a month to EDD.Got a text mesage from FIL's wife this morning,just made me go grr and said "piss off".DH said it's rude.Yes it is.And they are fucking annoying
Well,according to internet my EDD was 24th of may,mw wrote 25th so i mark the second one as it's more "official"

At this rate, there'll be loads of babies being induced on Weds.

There's a girl come in at 38 weeks in early labour. She'd got a planned CS for next week because the baby is too big for her. She's insisting she gets her CS! Now look, this baby is estimated at 9lb and is overdue, give me your contractions woman!!

The MW told me even though induction is on Wed, not to expect a Wed baby. The drug they use (? Propess) can take 1-2 days to work :(

Right! Seen Dr and induction booked for Friday if nothing else happens in interim. Apparently although cervix posterior, MW now saying starting to soften and 1cm dilated when she did the sweep. Make up your mind woman!!

SES at least you can go home now.Wednesday is the 1st day after this bloody jubilee thing,that's why there's so many planned procedures.It might cause overcrowding,now i see why they told me "if there's a bed".One thing makes me wonder-they obviously must have some poeple on duty at the hospitals and some on call-in case there is emergency.

Ginger i had a look at the papers i was given by mw-first stage of labour(average) lasts 6 to 20 hrs.DH wants to stay with me if they keep me on Wednesday.I old him there's no point as even if they induce me on arrival I can't see anything happening till late morning/early afternoon on the next day.
