Time to evict baby-new thread for heavily pregnant ladies!

I was going to join the other one but those luck ladies have had thier babies and are now talking all things newborn Envy.

So join me if you are fat and getting somewhat fed up!

I am 36+4 and a scan on Monday showed that DS is already weighing around 7lb 3 Shock. For that reason alone I'm hoping he puts in an appearance soon. Previous DC's have been 40+1, 39 and 39 and 7lb6, 8lb13 and 8lb12.5 so not so sure why this one is estimated to be so big!

Kveta,sorry about offtopic,but your nick sounds like it has some roots in central/eastern Europe...

only joking about June,was due last week but might pop in June,who knows when the little bugger will come out.

somebody kick my backside-need to go to the shop and get milk and cream for strawbs and blueberries

noticed my neighbour strimming the lawn-dreading passing by and hearing "no baby yet?"wait until he's gone or just go and send a mouthful towards him when he asks?

Had sweep this morning feeling bloody uncomfortable now and not quite sure what is going on. She said my cervix is looking favourable and shouldn't be long now and am 2cm dilated. So hoping it starts soon. Anyone feel or get told the same after a sweep and then nothing???

sweep tomorrow-will see how it goes.If cervix is hard and closed no amount of sweeps will help.Poor lucky had 2 and cervix closed.

iowmum I had a sweep with DC2, was 2cm dilated and favourable, had the sweep on Thursday and he arrived on Saturday. Hope this is the positive news you need.

I keep getting the you still here comments from the school mums Angry, I'm so tempted to reply - no I'm just missing the bump and so have stuffed a bowling ball up my top! Of course I smile and nod sweetly Hmm.

Heavily pregnant and fed up... sounds like the Thread for me, may i join.
Not due until 13th june, but DD arrived at 37+5 so was sort of hoping for the same this time round, but getting the feeling this isn't going to happen! :-(

Hope the sweeps get things moving for the sweep ladies :)

I'm just back from Pre-Op for ELCS on Friday, in at half 7 so baby S should be here by Friday pm. Sorry ladies my end is in sight. I keep thinking I'm going to pop before then, lots of strange aches today but bump still high. Quite difficult to get your head around water birth or ELCS - which one will it be. Meanwhile i'll keep drinking my tea and chasing DH around the bedroom.

Lime have you went for that bloody milk yet?

I may actually murder someone. Had three texts in the past hour asking if the baby is here yet....oh my god. I will tell people when it arrives. Stop bloody asking. And breath.....haha.
Although been having a few more cramps today, at the moment my back is aching slightly. Come on baby, you know you want to come out. Haha.
Swivel how many times have you packed and repacked? I have done it about 3 times since my EDD last Wednesday.

Cheers blueandred when did u start having contractions? Getting them and have just started to time them so will see what's going on with them.

Weezie I've only done it the once...as I couldn't be arsedwhich is isn't like me because I'm a control freak that writes lists for everything. I have 2 bags and a cool bag with my water/snacks etc :)

Went to the shop,met lady from the village"you're still here?",no it's my fecking ghost.
"When are you due?" in the shop."last week".Actually i love watching people faces when i say that.
Got milk but forgot cream for fruit.Didn't forget the ice cream though.Couldn't be bothered to come back so will mix some creme fraiche and yoghurt.This will do.
Good luck iowmum although I've got a strange feeling somebody pushed at the front of the queue again Envy.Nevermind,i did say I wanted a June one,didn't I? :( :( :(

iowmum my waters broke the Saturday morning (as I rolled over in bed!), so was actually beginning to think it hadnt worked.

Lime I promise your time will come, you will have a squidgy baby soon. Try not to get too down Sad.

iowmum I had a sweep yesterday and was told i was 2-3cm.
I had one last time with dd in the afternoon and had her early hours of the following morning,so i kind of got my hopes up this time Sad
on a positive note i have had a show today so maybe something might happen yet?

I had a sweep with DS - had sweep on the wednesday am and he was born saturday pm, but I did have show wednesday night, and went into labour on the thursday am! have my sweep booked for 40+1 this time (so next wednesday) as baby is measuring big for dates, and will be induced at 41 weeks - so they are giving me every opportunity to go into labour before then. TBH if they called me right now and offered to induce me this evening, I'd be there in a flash, I am SO sick of feeling this drookit and dull. And I know newborns don't sleep, but I remember sleeping so so much better once DS was born, even though he's a horror for sleep still - just being able to get comfy in bed made all the difference!

roll on next wednesday anyway...

Hi everyone.. Glad to hear there are some babies here already.
I need some advice, sorry if tmi, been feeling extremely nauseas and have vomited a few times this afternoon. I cannot keep anything down. Have been having really strong braxton hicks for the last two weeks and although they are getting stronger there is no pattern as such. What do I do?

Hi. had GP appointment today and she said baby 3/5 engaged and still back to back. Mentioned the fluid/discharge thing and ended up at thematernity unit for3 and a half hours. Had to then lie down for 20 mins then she did what felt like a smear type thing, ugh. All looked ok though so probably just watery discharge.

The midwife also said looks like the baby is well down and that it is not back to back now so who knows! Am so sore in my ribs from sitting so long and my back is in spasm now. Good luck to those with signs,have just seen three women in labour at hospital, have to say that in that moment I wasn't even jealous!

Still no baby...

Lucky - hopefully you went into labour yesterday or if the induction goes ahead today, hoping it goes smoothly.

BlueandRed - the squits is a definite sign. Hope not too long for you.

usedtobethin - sounds like progress!

Hope everyone else is ok. It's meant to cool down from today so hopefully that will help. Also we need some more May babies and only have 17.5hrs left if May!! Come ON babies!!!
