How late was your period when you got a positive pregnancy test result?

Hello ladies! I hope you don't mind me visiting you when I'm not pregnant. Well actually, I'm not sure whether I am or not! My period is late but I have had a negative pregnancy test.

So I am wondering if this is normal? Could you please share your experiences with me? How many days late was your period when you tested positive and did you test earlier and get a negative result beforehand?

DH and I had unprotected sex on day 18 of my cycle and today is day 31 of what is normally a 29 day cycle.

For my first pregnancy I tested quite late and had a positive result straight away -- none of this waiting in limbo!

I tested 5 days after period was due, however it was first month after coming off pill so I don't know his accurate 5days was really! I brought a digital test, now 4mnths down the line, bump is forming nicely!

The evening of the day it was due. I am very regular though. Evening wee and it came up straight away on cbd

I knew something was different almost straight away - my normal nose pimples hadn't arrived in the week before I was due, my boobs hurt lying on my tummy, I had a horrible taste in my mouth, I was constipated (never happened to me before pregnancy). I took the weekend to have one last blast of getting drunk - didn't tell my boyfriend my suspicions because I was a bit in denial.

Period due on Tuesday, bought test that day on the way home from work, pregnant. But like I say, I knew already (it wasn't exactly planned, so I wasn't really waiting around to do a test or anything).

For me it was 7 days worth of confusion, no bfp and no AF! It was torture! But on day 7 I has a super faint bfp using first morning urine with a superdrug test. Then two days later I had a bfp on a clear blue digital which said 1-2 weeks. I must have ov'd a week later than I thought!

Keep thinking positive, you are not out till AF shows up x

Mine was five days late. It's 28 days 95% of the time.

First pregnancy 2 days before af due superdrug cheapy
Second pregnancy 5 days late but kinda wish id dun it before on a asda cheapy

Hey everyone. My husband and I just started ttc. I have a VERY REGULAR (meaning, after day 28, AF shows up the next morning like clockwork!) 28 day cycle. I was due for my period on Aug 8th and AF still hasn't shown up! I am pretty sure I ovulated on July 26/27th and a week later (Aug 3th) I had cramping/sharp pulling pain on the left side of my lower abdomen. Since I have never been pregnant before, I assumed this was implantation? I took a few HPTs a few days before AF was supposed to start, but they were all negative. I started testing before AF because I started noticing tingling/sharp pains in my boobs and lower back pain (both of which are still happening). I took one the day AF was due, 1 each day since, and all negative! Today (Aug 10th) makes me 2 days late. Do you guys think it's still too early?? I want to call my OB to get a blood test, but I feel like they will want me to be at least a week late. Thoughts?

6 days before AF on an internet cheapie.

rnvee and jc you can have a false neg early on if your hcg levels aren't high enough to register on a test. Best to wait a few days and test again.

I got my bfp the day before AF due on FRER. Kind of knew I was pg as I'd slept most of the previous 36 hours

I was about 3 days early and altho faint on a cheapie test, was picked up on a clear blue digi x

My last Af was on 16th May lasting 5 day. I was due my Af on 18th June but I am now 24 days late. My periods are always regular and I've never missed one before. I have taken 6 pregnancy test 4 hpts and 2 at the doctors, all came back negative, I've not taken one in over a week as I've been back and forward to doctors for a couple weeks now, doctor advised that it is possible to miss a period randomly and has asked until my next period is due which is 21st July so around a week away and if my period doesn't come I've to take another test and if that comes back negative I've to go to doctor to get blood tests taken. My partner and I are ttc so hoping we are pregnant, his mother didn't find out she was pregnant with him until she was 32 weeks, didn't have a bump, no symptoms and kept getting negative test results.

So nervous but keeping calm until I find out.

I'm New to this! My period is 12 days late, I've taken 3 tests and they are all neg could I still be pregnant? I'm Having a few symptoms! Please help!! Ttc for 2 years and this is the longest without period!!

I took two pregnancy tests. I am not sure if is just my head or is there a second line?
Would you say that it is positive?

Might effect that my period is not due for another 4 days.
