Sircharles - having come back from what must have been the most wonderful time ever - and now being here in what must be horrid with the cold, wet weather and the crappy NHS system - don't you want to go back there to live? My dh was bought up there and would love nothing more than for me to say - lets go and live there, but it seems to me that so many South Africans are escaping here so why would we want to go and live there? I know you were thinking about it - what are your thoughts now?
I keep logging in thinking that someone must have popped by now - there are so many of us and most are around 33-36 weeks - its amazing that none of us have gone early.
All good this end, just would so love the builders to disappear asap - its been 11 months now of hardcore building, and I would really love, just for one day, to have the house to myself! The estate agents are coming on Monday to value it and put it on the market, so not only do I have to contend with three small boys, three builders, the house being sold (hopefully due to mounting debt) three school runs - which take an hour and a half twice a day, but also in 4 weeks yesterday - a small baby!
I have been landed with my nephew today who is 18 months old and ever so slightly utterly painful.
Two days of new school run so far and I am knackered! Not helped by being up every night till 11.30 name taping for the last four weeks! I have to now get up and out of bed by 6.15 every morning so you can only imagine what time I will have to get up when the baby comes to make sure it is fed before the boys need feeding and getting in the car at 7.40 each day. It has to be fed before we go because we won't be home till 9.30 when it is due for its next feed! 5.30am starts after half term. YUCK! Plus waking in the night. I think I might forgo the waking it up at 10 so that I can go to bed early, and just deal with the 2/3am one for a while and see if that works. Nothing ever works like you hope it will thats for sure!
I am on antibiotics right now, infact coming to the end, and despite not being hugely pleased about having to take them, the pain of sinusitus was too much to bear, so I have taken them and they let me sleep. An amazing, deep, happy sleep which I can go back into straight away upon waking. No getting up to wee, no heartburn, no agonisingly painful hips, just me and sleep! I haven't slept like this since Christmas! I know its the antibiotics because I took them in Feb/March for a chest infection and the same thing happened! Wonderful things - who would have known!
