I remember being a bit fed up the last few weeks when pg with DS.

This time around I have about 10 weeks work left and really can't be bothered Blush it's awful!

Am I the only lazy fed up one? :(

Ditching the gym plan, Dh has only just left work so too late for me. Shame Grin . Must admit, I miss bodypump Sad . The NCT class sounds good, but £10/class seems pretty steep! Me & Dh have a joint gym membership, it's a local authority gym, but ok and includes access to swimming, sauna etc and all classes - all for £65/month. (they don't do any antenatal classes though)

Am Envy of your half day tomorrow. I am out at a meeting first thing, which means I'll have to get up early... and get dressed! Shock

Missgiraffe1 · 26/01/2012 18:43

Shyera you'd think with only 4.5 weeks left, they would be cutting you a little bit of slack!! Shame on your workmates.

But, you are well & truly on the home run. How exciting!! Smile

jaggythistle · 26/01/2012 19:41

sorry!

been so lazy I've not even posted on this thread. Blush

meeting was fine ta. :)

only Friday to go...

BlueCrane · 27/01/2012 11:09

Hmm half day = great, except that i've not really got much done at all yet and I'm only here for another 1.5 hours...oops!! And now as you can see I am on here which still isn't acheiving much!! MUST try and at least tick one thing off my list before I go!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend to you all!!

jaggythistle · 27/01/2012 11:16

This is my first visit to MN today, have achieved 3 hours of (almost) working. Including a tea break...

2hrs 45 to go for me.

spannermary · 27/01/2012 11:26

Two weeks left to go!!

Not in today, so enjoying my day off by looking at Novak Djokovic's legs watching the tennis.

Team Lazy Arse is at its best when watching other people work their arses off!

Ciske · 27/01/2012 12:27

3.5 hours at work, and I think I've got about 1.5 hours worth of productivity to show for it.... better get started, it's nearly weekend. Grin

Missgiraffe1 · 27/01/2012 13:02

Just back in from meeting. 1 hour drive there, very straightforward 1/2 hour meeting which required zero brainpower (just as well) on my part, 1 hour drive back. Made a cup of tea, brought it up to my desk. Checked e-mails, got heartburn so had to go drink some Gaviscon. Back up to desk. Updated boss re meeting, Had a general chat.
And that counts for 4 hours work. Lovely. Smile
Now it's time for lunch.
I have had worse Fridays Grin

Happy weekend to you all too!

oltob · 27/01/2012 14:29

I task left for the afternoon, cue immediate procrastination. Missg - thought I'd let you know that lovehearts are a welcome change from gaviscon for heartburn. I've switched to them in the day and they seem to work ok. I still use gaviscon & milk before bed though. How small my world has become. Latest one says 'lucky day' so might be worth a euromillions ticket on the way home. Have a great weekend.

Missgiraffe1 · 27/01/2012 16:35

Thanks Oltob was it you who posted that on another thread recently? I keep meaning to buy them, but when I go to any shop, it goes like this:
Go in.
Forget why I'm there.
Wander around trying to remind myself.
Generally drift in the direction of bakery.
Buy fairy cakes (and maybe the odd random thing I pass on way to checkout)
Get home.
Eat a fairy cake.
Get heartburn THEN remember I was to get Lovehearts in the shop.
And then phone DH to pick up whatever else I've forgotten on the way home.
And, annoyingly, always forget to tell him to get Lovehearts!!

Tomorrow my mission is to buy a packet of Lovehearts. Smile

oltob · 27/01/2012 16:59

quite possibly, I am a convert. I tend to overdo them a bit and munch through whole packets resulting in vaguely fizzy belching.

Grin at the fairy cakes

Mikocat · 30/01/2012 15:29

20 days to go! :)

BlueCrane · 30/01/2012 16:33

Ooh...I've just had a quick count and seems as though it's approx 60 days to go depending on what I do with a few 'spare days' of annual leave I have left!

Good day today as I had the morning off, then came in fr a meeting which has just finished so now only have an hour left to do some work kill time on MN and doing other things which might look like work

How's everyone else today?

jaggythistle · 30/01/2012 16:46

67 'working' days to go including today (I only started my shift at lunch time).

OP posts:
Missgiraffe1 · 30/01/2012 17:22

Phew, had a mare of a day.... actually had to work, HARD, all day long.
Am exhausted. Bring back the sort of day Footprints had, who I think takes the Team LA medal today for chief procrastinator Grin

I hope to have a day like that tomorrow (please let my sick colleague come back soon Envy pleeeeease)

FootprintsInTheSnow · 30/01/2012 17:49

I've actually got second wind - but think I should avoid the trap of working in the evening, leading to bad sleeping, leading to champion procrastination the next day.

BlueCrane · 31/01/2012 10:35

Morning...

missg hope your colleague back soon!!

footprints that was an impressive list of 'non work' activities Smile

I slept v badly last night and just feel exhausted today, was v late into work and now still feel as though I could happily curl up in bed and sleep again! Unfortunately I do have a LOT to do for this deadline looming on Friday...but sleeeeep please...oh dear...not sure how I'm going to get everything sorted!

BlueCrane · 31/01/2012 11:24

Grrrr...seriously flagging...MUST wake up and do work....zzzzz....sleeps....

missingmymarbles · 31/01/2012 11:39

Did I post on here already (see nickname!)? Yes I wish I was on mat leave. I am 16 weeks. I have felt like this since 7 weeks.

oltob · 31/01/2012 11:41

Blue I'm with you. Last night was a write off - woke twice hourly to quoff gaviscon. I can't even resort to coffee & flapjack as I know it'll just aggravate it.

Missgiraffe1 · 31/01/2012 11:44

Hush a bye (blue) baby, on the tree tops. Laaa la la laaa la la la la la ....
Grin Grin

The sleeping thing is awful. Takes me ages to get to sleep. And I must wake up at least 4 or 5 times to go to the loo, turn over etc. Not conducive to a hard days work. Once DD goes out to school at 8.05, I go back to bed for an hour. In fact, I don't even know why I get up - she only comes out her room about 1 minute before she leaves! (ususally to a rant about her not eating breakfast and it being the most important meal of the day (I'm sure all she hears is blah blah blah, breakfast, blah blah...)

Another colleague is now off sick!!! Sad Aaaaaargh! This is not good.

42 days left after today!!!

FootprintsInTheSnow · 31/01/2012 13:18

Oh no - missg!

sleep deprivation is rubbish. I think preganancy makes you sleep lightly at the best of times - never mind the list of physical discomfort and the treacherous bladder.

TheGrandOldDuke · 31/01/2012 13:21

Yep, can't wait. Am 5 weeks preg today Grin

Dollybird99 · 31/01/2012 14:12

3 weeks, 3 days and 2 hours left to go....not that I'm counting or anything :o
