Hi, lovely to meet you all at the weekend and am definitely on for another meet-up soon. No plans of a weekend apart from relentless decorating! Good news about the heartbeat Oi, it must be lovely and reassuring. My midwife appt isn't until 5th Sept, by which time my MATB1 form thingy will be well overdue, oops!
Must utilise my bump more!

Hi ladies, I hope that you are all feeling well. My bump seems to have grown quite impressively since our meet up. But now I'm questioning why I wanted it so much! (A bigger bump, that is, not babyGinger!) It's getting so difficult bending over, and I'm starting with aches and pains more now.
My ankles were massive yesterday. I'd been in Frankfurt for meetings and I looked like I had borrowed some elephant's legs. Really uncomfortable and not at all attractive!!! (Thank heavens I was wearing long trousers!)
I'm "working from home" today with my feet up to try and get some rest and get them back to normal. I got home last night after midnight and was feeling very sorry for myself. Stu was away as well last night, so no big hug waiting for me either. :(
We've got three viewings of the house tonight! Three!!! Incredible. Hopefully one of them will conclude in a sale! Fingers crossed!
And I finally bought some gorgeous baby clothes at the weekend - Mamas and Papas, of course! (It was 20% off full priced stuff at weekend, but the till didn't know the rules and gave me 20% off the sale stuff too! Still silly expensive of course, but utterly cute and gorgeous... will post a picture of clothes and ankles - for your delight and horror!)
When's the next meet up?
:)

Aw, coveting the knitted cardie OiMissus, so cute! Your ankles are a treat, so I have this to look forward to! I think you're about 2 weeks ahead of me, so the elephantism is a charming sign of things to come. I had a quick search for you, Kri5ty etc this morning but I'm not sure what thread you're on, and as no-one had posted about exercise or eating too much/being super-prepared, I didn't happen across either of you!
My cot-bed arrives today, and I've bought a little duvet and bedding set, no harm in preparing a good year in advance! Got a super-cute dragon from The white Company at the weekend, so the nursery is taking shape. Monty is kicking a lot more now which is lovely. He was very quiet this morning, I was a bit worried so lay down in the disabled loo at work and prodded him about until he awoke, he wasn't impressed and made me suffer for a while by firmly booting me about Grin I shall take on board that he is going to be a little night owl.
Good luck with the viewings tonight, hope one of them bites or you have a fierce bidding war on your hands!
Would love to meet up again, my weekends are/or can be pretty free for a coffee and cake. Oooh, I was in the Trafford Centre for hours after we all parted last time, spent a fortune!
How is everyone fixed for a Saturday lunch mid-late September?

OiMissus · 25/08/2011 16:28

My phone went wonky the other day, and my diary has gone haywire - so it looks like I am completely free any weekend in September! Oh - it's the Baby show in manc -is that the weekend of the 3rd?... I'll have to dig out that email about tickets...
Exciting news about the nursery sparkly! Sounds like it's taking shape. Have a look on www.achica.com - one of the offers has lots of nursery sticker collections. (I tried using the mumsnet partner promo code last week on one of their offers, but it didn't work.)
and, yes, the M&P cardy is gorgeous. I saw it and it was the first time I got excited about boys clothes. Happy happy happy!! :) My little Ginger is gonna be a stunner!
