Labour must be close because not only am I absolutely starving, exhausted but unable to sleep let alone well!
But I swear if DP's elbow touches my arm one more time I will throttle him!
I cannot stand anyone near me and nearly everything is driving me mad with misery.
I am also highly emotional.

Come moan with me, please bring warm donuts Grin

Good luck Jimmy - I see from the other thread that you have been going through it since early morning! It's my first too and wondering how I will cope with the pain...I think you are doing amazingly well Grin

Look forward to seeing good news later. Hope you reach the second stage soon :)

prolificwillybreeder · 17/07/2011 21:08

Hope you're ok jimmy!
Well I had a baby boy yesterday weighing 7lbs! All ok, all home now. Labour very quick.
He's such a little cutie and is very similar to his brother.
Will post more once I have slept.

aStarInStrangeways · 18/07/2011 12:43

Fantastic button, well done for just a tiny tear at that weight and congratulations on your beautifully-named boy :)

MummyTigger · 18/07/2011 12:46

Hi all!

Congratulations Button :D Hope everything is going well!

Right, since this is my first I have no idea whether it's "real" or not, but (without being too graphic) I've had a rather smelly completely toxic visit to the toilet. I've also been getting crampy-style period pains since last night, and I've started feeling some tightenings. They aren't frequent, but I seem to be getting them every half hour, 45 minutes.

I really hope this is it! Going to hop in the bath and have a tidy up down there a good soak and relax, and fingers crossed my waters go! :D

JenniL1977 · 18/07/2011 12:48

Can I come and join the party now I'm nearly 36 weeks? (have been lurking since 32, but didn't think I was near enough the end to join in!)

I am bored bored BORED of being up the duff now... 8 days and I'm 37 weeks and she can come any time she likes then! I think she wants out as well as there's just no room any more for her!

Congrats to pwb and button!

Darlingdamsel · 18/07/2011 12:48

Awesome Button and what a big boy!

Mine is stubborn and refuses to budge. Am going to go for a long walk again in the hopes of getting something going, but amazingly still no twinges or anything. Sigh ...

Induction next Thursday if he doesn't get a move on.

Congrats everyone!

nicolamumof3 · 18/07/2011 12:53

i've been on the go all morning, and nothing here!! she'll come when she's ready i guess.

my wedding anniversary today and hubby taking me to my favourite indian yum yum! Cannot wait for that.

aStarInStrangeways · 18/07/2011 13:05

Sounds v promising MummyTigger, fingers crossed :)

witches · 18/07/2011 13:14

Congratulations on the lovely babies! Im rather jealous! Everyone seems to have had theirs wheres mine? even all the celebs due around the same time hav arrived. Ah well another sweep wed and hopefully will get this show on the road.

Georgimama · 18/07/2011 13:48

Congratulations to the new arrivals! Had MW appointment this morning, as usual given third degree about decision to have C section due to previous tear (see a different MW every appointment you see so it seems they all have to putt their two pennyworth in on the subject) but fortunately this discussion is somewhat academic as on examination baby is still firmly breech. So no further appointments, just waiting for the section a week on Friday.

Sounds v promising Tigger, my body definitely went into a "voiding" mode in early stages of labour with DS - at least you won't poo yourself!

BrightSideOfLife · 18/07/2011 15:33

OK, can I join please? I am 39 weeks today and DESPERATE!

This is DC2, my DD was born at 38 weeks so I have never been so pregnant before and it is awful. I have days where I think that this is it and things are happening and then days like today where everything is normal. (If back-ache, pelvic pressure, heartburn and exhaustion are normal Hmm )

Curry for dinner tonight. Heaven knows the brisk walk yesterday did nothing!

Congrats to those of you who have already popped....

MummyTigger · 18/07/2011 16:23

OK, quick update to all :) Having those tightening sensations every 15-20 minutes. Not painful, just awkward and a bit uncomfortable. Back pain getting worse, little bits of crampy pain and the baby is going MENTAL which he never does during the day, so I really hope this is it. EDD is TODAY so he may just be one of the 5% :D

BSOL - hope you drop soon :) I dobt you'll have to wait much longer. If the first one was early then your second shouldnt be too far behind!

aStarInStrangeways · 18/07/2011 16:27

Welcome all newcomers, every late pregnancy moan and niggle will be listened to with sympathy here Grin

MT I am sending you good exit vibes :) DS went mental just before my waters broke, so that sounds positive to me.

TrinaLuciusMalfoy · 18/07/2011 16:29

Joining in. 39+1 today, my hip has disintegrated, DD is being a pain in the arse, I've had no sleep and bump looks like s/he's staying firmly put. Really want to go early so I don't go over and have to have a section, but DD was born at 41 weeks so it's unlikely :( Hip's getting so apinful I'm actually wondering about asking my consultant to just book me a section for next week, I'm that unsure it'll survive another long labour >>sigh

nicolamumof3 · 18/07/2011 16:30

MT If not painful could be BH? have you had many of those? Contractions are normally painful and need to be alot closer together unfortunately, could be the beginning tho? you never know Smile

I feel chilled out today about it all...but tomorrow could be fed up again i suppose. I guess my bump has dropped so im more comfortable?

MummyTigger · 18/07/2011 17:09

I'm now getting them every 15-20 minutes, still not painful just uncomfortable. I don't know what it is - can't quite put my finger on it - but I've had BH before, and it just doesn't... feel like BH IYSWIM? It's just... a little different. Very strange!

Back pain slowly getting worse too, but no show or waters yet. Hope they go soon, I'm sick of just not knowing whether this is it or not!

aStarInStrangeways · 18/07/2011 17:28

I don't recall my early contractions being especially painful either tbh. The really early, pre-labour ones.

MummyTigger · 18/07/2011 17:28

Oh, and boobs are pissing out colostrum like a leaky tap. Not had much leak out in the whole of pregnancy - so could this be another sign?!
