Labour must be close because not only am I absolutely starving, exhausted but unable to sleep let alone well!
But I swear if DP's elbow touches my arm one more time I will throttle him!
I cannot stand anyone near me and nearly everything is driving me mad with misery.
I am also highly emotional.

Come moan with me, please bring warm donuts Grin

darling that is awful, I hope they sort you out ASAP!

Since pulling a nerve or whatever I did earlier, I am walking even worse than I was before!

I am too either cleaning like a mad lady or glaring at the washing up for have the audacity to even exist.

Nowt going on here, I could not be more fed up :(

My phone won't let me scroll up, I can't even remember what I was going to say!
Hope everyone is doing ok
Night all

Any arrivals overnight? Hope everyone's new arrivals are well and those of us still waiting are not too hot/swollen/miserable. 2 weeks today until C day - I am running out of things to nest over. The cot needs assembling but I can't/won't do that on my own. Still a few little bits and bobs I need to get, baby bath, nippas for the terry nappies, I think an online shop awaits me sometime today.

buttonmoon78 · 15/07/2011 07:23

Just checking in to say 'bye'.

See you all on the other side. Am shitting myself. To put it politely! Grin

aStarInStrangeways · 15/07/2011 07:40

Good luck button! Just think, you'll be cuddling your lovely newborn soon Grin :)

nicolamumof3 · 15/07/2011 07:40

prolificwillybreeder · 15/07/2011 07:45

Good luck button

How are we all this morning?, i have had the worst night ever and feel shattered.

On the plus side i hope, bump is soo achey/painful this morning like constant period paid, keep feeling like i need a poo but dont Grin am hoping something is moving now i am officially overdue lol.

Cant remember early labour with dd even though it wasnt that long ago, but my waters popped so knew then it was the start.

prolificwillybreeder · 15/07/2011 09:34

nic sounds promising!
All quiet this end. Had awful night with DS which in turn as I was up bump was up too. He was really active last night, I'm not sure it's a sign sadly :(
I'm trying to be positive: will come when he's ready etc but I am finding it very hard to be upbeat!
Bring on Tuesday where I hope my cervix is flirty and favourable. If it's not I shall take to my bed and sulk!

How is everyone else doing? Thinking of you button!

Sorry for the crap night's sleep, you two. I actually slept really well for once, so am feeling almost human once more - it was much needed after spending yesterday feeling like a complete zombie.

nic that does sound promising, especially the no poo Grin My baby has been quite quiet this morning but I've had some niggles of the type you describe. Not convinced it means anything yet as I'm only 37+something, but still, it is a full moon tonight!

Nicplus1and1baking · 15/07/2011 11:23

Morning ladies, well the period type cramps are still there, am trying not to concentrate on them to much so not to get excited lol
Bottom of back aching also, am going to go and have a power hour with dd Smile

prolificwillybreeder · 15/07/2011 11:52

Eek! Sounds like this could be it nic Im very jealous! I have nada, nothing! Other than late public transport listening to elderly women putting the world to right. E.g " it's not easy to run away, all comes out in the end". Bizarre!

OP posts:
minicorrect · 15/07/2011 13:22

Just wanted to pop in and say that last night I actually slept ok - no sickness or back/bump ache at all and no wees either! Could this be a sign Wink?!!!! LOL

Even feel ok today - still a bit of reflux nausea and bumpache but walked through pain at shops (had to get some post-natal knickers and biscuits for the midwives) and hoping this will help get baby at least in the right place.

Was totally expecting it to be yesterday as it was our wedding anniversary, but hoping today's full moon might get things going instead!

Good luck nic - hope this all means something is happening for you!

prolificwillybreeder · 15/07/2011 18:01

That sounds blissful mini
I long for some peace!
I perhaps have spent too much money today on well nothing really. I'm not entirely sure DP is going to be overly delighted but nevermind, I needed cheering up!
DS is looking suspiciously like he may be coming down with a cold. I am hoping it is just teething!

tadd · 15/07/2011 18:01

Well I'm completely fed up! I was induced yesterday at 5 and midnight with prostoglandin pill, and has had no success, so i was sent home today!! I have to back in at 8 am tomorrow to start all over again. Am so depressed, i really do not want an oxytocyn drip which will be the next step if round 2 doesn't work!! Ill be 13 days over due tomorrow and just want a normal labour! Winge winge winge! Sad
Also can someone tell me if its possible/normal to have 3 shows?

Georgimama · 15/07/2011 18:08

My show started on the Wednesday; everytime I went to the loo there was more of the stuff [gross emoticon].

DS was born at 3.32am on the

tadd · 15/07/2011 18:11

thank you for the show info georgmama but ill pretend i didn't read the other bit!!!

Nicplus1and1baking · 15/07/2011 19:32

Well am still here Sad although have felt in necessry to take 2 paracetamol prior to my bath to see if it takes the pain off, not sure if i want it o or not lol, i dont if its the start of it bu i do if its bloody not to try and sleep lol
Oh Tadd u must be gutted, i can imagine you expect it to be over when u go in the 1st time - theres always the chance things will kick off tonight

tadd · 15/07/2011 20:11

Gutted is a good way of explaining it!! Fingers crossed things do get started tonight!!!! I cant cope with this waiting game much longer!

Orbinator · 15/07/2011 20:39

Good luck Button can't wait to hear the good news :)

I'm still here too :( Had my "sweep" this morning and turns out my cervix is far from flirty and she couldn't actually reach it, despite, as she pointed out, having very long fingers Confused She was "up there" for about 10mins trying to walk it towards her but to no avail. I was pushing on the top of the bump too but nada. I had warned her that I am apparently long and narrow but she still seemed surprised, which I can't help feeling doesn't bode well for anything happening any time soon. She did however say she could feel baby's head!?! I asked her to explain how the head can be down far enough to feel if cervix isn't but didn't really get it even after both explanations. Apparently cervix is tucked behind baby's head?! Didn't make sense to me...

Still, baby has been moving around all day since and I've worn myself half to death walking around town with frustration. MW also said I am burning off too much body fat and need to eat more. I have no appetite and having 3 small meals a day is a struggle. Really couldn't believe this though as on top of my 3 small meals last night I had a muffin and bag of malteasers. I don't see how I ca eat much more! Help!

So feeling thoroughly fed up and battered now. Maybe the full moon will tempt the little one out after all [hopeful fingers crossed emoticon]

witches · 15/07/2011 21:14

Oh orbinator ten mins does not sound like fun mine only lasted about two! She also said baby head was low even though not engaged, i also thought that was a bit odd! I actually think its stuck as hasnt moved position since 20week scan so not holding my breath it will have got the memo to move down by wed! Like u im secretly hoping the full moon will work its magic!Wink

Orbinator · 15/07/2011 21:20

Oh and Jimmy please don't watch OBEM USA!!! It is horrific and will scare the pants off you. If you feel the urge I really enjoyed OBEM UK which is still on 4OD if you have internet connection. Much nicer and calmer as well as less invasive. MW's are actually funny and kind too Grin. You will be crying by the end but with admiration and a feeling of "I'm gonna have one of those soon!" and not "what the hell have I let myself in for" wails. x

JimmyChoo17 · 16/07/2011 00:22

orbinator I loved the UK one but the US version seems horrible in comparison! They are shot very differently and there seems to be more emphasis on natural labours here in the uk...Am avoiding birth programmes now. Amazing how the episode of my family, friends and only foolsn horses with the birth scenes have been on this week too! I can't escape it!!!!!! :o

I've got a lot of strong pressing coming out and over (and thru it seems) my pubic bone this past hour....anyone had this? Would have thought would be feeling this but thru my fanjo more! really strong and can't sleep thru it. Cant stop it and baby appears to be raving in there....

Please don't come tonight baby choo....I am scared about unleashing the curry I had! (purely for pigish reasons and not labour inducing reasons!) the curry house made it hotter for me but not too hot but seems they wanted to help entice baby out! Lush curry tho....

I'm the opposite of u....had normal appetite until 39 weeks and have been starving these past few days it's scary how much I could eat right now! Don't want to start piling on weight now after being fairly stable throughout...

Orbinator · 16/07/2011 11:50

My little girl had her rave on last night too. We had feet sharply under ribs, elbows sticking out, head spins - you name it. Went off and on every other hour so had quite a poor night's sleep. Heart burn contributed after I managed to eat a whole tub of cookie dough ice cream watching an episode of The Wire and moved on to finish a large packet of balsamic vinegar and black pepper crisps before going to bed Confused Possibly not the wisest thing I've done in 9 months.

Not had what you describe but she does seem to elbow my hip/thigh at times which is a weird sensation.

Quite glad it's a misog day. I always feel justified in doing very little when it rains :)

Georgimama · 16/07/2011 11:56

I could eat a scabby horse, I really could. Since tstarting taking the indigestion meds I am not feeling reluctant to eat certain foods as I have for the last 20 weeks or so, and want to eat everything.

Baby's movements have definitely slowed down a bit but she is still going ape between 9 and 10pm every evening as she has done for the last few weeks. I suppose she's running out of space in there. MW on Monday, then pre C section consultation on Friday and C section on 29th. So sick of being pregnant now!

aStarInStrangeways · 16/07/2011 17:04

It must have been the full moon last night making all these babies party so hard - mine was quiet all day and then went bananas Lionel Ritchie style ('all night long').
