I am sure this has been done dozens of times before but still...
what works for you?

So far this time round my nausea is eased most obviously by:

toasted bagels
s&v crisps (of course)
mashed potato, ideally with cheese
macaroni cheese

This is not a long enough list! Please add to it!

Jacobs crackers and also first time around meat - I craved meat so much and it was so effective at stopping the nausea that I stopped being vegetarian for my first trimester with DD1 (after 13 years of not eating meat prior to that). Didn't work for DD2 though - if anything seemed to make it worse.

Lemonade ice lollies.

Bumpsadaisie · 14/04/2011 14:34

Tinned minestone soup and pear drops.

Fizzy drinks were the only thing that ever helped me at all.

(Can you tell how much I love being pregnant?)

MooseyMoo · 14/04/2011 14:42

S&V crisps
Rich Tea biscuits
Brioche
Mini Cheddars

RenniesFromHeaven · 14/04/2011 14:44

Cold boiled new potatoes and salad cream.

jacobs cream crackers

poppadoms and mango chutney

.... were all I ate for about 4 months... both times.

Feck off with your ginger biscuits, Emma's Diary.

COCKadoodledooo · 14/04/2011 14:54

Lashings and lashings of ginger beer for me! Plus packet upon packet of extra strong mints. Those and Frazzles.

LisamumtoJake · 14/04/2011 15:35

I seemed to live on Jacobs crackers, Ice poles, kellogs cereal bars and that was about me Grin

I then progressed to chicken crisps, cheese and Pepsi

I went right off chocolate in fact it tasted rotten, and i had a lovely boy :)

instantfamily · 14/04/2011 15:52

Eat anything but eat it in about 1 to 1.5hr intervals. never let that blood sugar go down too low.

MotherofPearl · 14/04/2011 16:14

Matzos crackers + marmite
Fresh grapefruit, the pink kind, ice cold
Vanilla ice cream
Salted peanuts

LaWeasel · 14/04/2011 16:17

I didn't like chocolate either. Hardly any PG women I know can stand it. Oddly.

Stropperella · 14/04/2011 16:20

Fresh mango! Mad as it may seem, as long as I ate a couple of slices of fresh mango first thing in the morning, I didn't throw up. Any day we had run out of mango, I threw up. Found out much later than it is a known "cure" for morning sickness.

sonnyd · 14/04/2011 16:23

Digestive biscuits
Polo mints
Mint tea

all seem to keep the nausea at bay!

proudmum74 · 14/04/2011 16:45

Potatoes (for every meal! - preferably mashed)
Jacobs crackers
Peppermint tea

nickelbaalamb · 14/04/2011 16:47

I'm finding that I constantly have an aftertaste of coleslaw in my mouth.

I did have coleslaw for a few days, in pitta bread, but now I don't want any more coleslaw.

It doesn't matter what I eat, 20mins later, there's that coleslaw taste.

Even if it's fruit or veg with no dairy at all.
Confused

wonderstuff · 14/04/2011 17:06

hoola hoops and rich tea biscuits washed down with flat lemonade Sad

Mrswhiskerson · 14/04/2011 17:07

I loved rich tea even though I normally hate them ,
bewre of dunking though I have had many a sloppy mess at the bottom of my cup

LadyWord · 14/04/2011 17:09

Jaffa cakes, especially in the middle of the night.
Tonic water.

Mrswhiskerson · 14/04/2011 17:10

instantfamily that's great advice I found if I went too long without eating I would feel Ill and grazing really helped.

speculationisrife · 14/04/2011 17:19

Jelly. Puts something in your tummy without requiring much digestive effort. Was a life saver for me - I used to buy those little pots of it with raspberries from M&S on the way to work for breakfast.

PurpleLostPrincess · 14/04/2011 17:40

I was just about to say jelly but see it has already been mentioned. Smile I lived on it when I had hyperemesis with DD2, every flavour you could imagine! Poor DH was making it by the gallon!

In all pregnancies I also survived with salt & vinegar squares as well as Reeses Buttercups and for some reason Lilt and Mr Men orange ice lollies Smile

NotTheMessiahJustMouseface · 14/04/2011 18:04

Ginger nut biscuits and cheddar cheese were the only things to cure mine, and yes, together. I had evening sickness. About 5-6pm was hell.

Oh, and I had the most horrendous heartburn - My DS was born with a full head of curly hair! Grin

Hope you feel better soon Smile

bluepanda · 14/04/2011 18:47

Burger King whoppers with cheese Blush first time round. I remember having a weakness for the pork and stuffing batch bar at lunchtime too
[disclaimer: I did not overly pack on the pounds!!]

Moodykat · 14/04/2011 18:51

Salt and vinegar squares and roast beef monster munch was all I could really eat for meals - dry frosted wheats all day in between! Used to carry a box around in the car and take sandwich bags full into work to munch on!
