Heartburn, weird dreams, kicking baby.

Mostly the heart burn, just been sicl too.

Am really tired but can't get comfy.

Anyone else feeling a bit blurgh at the home stretch? Just kind of feel like I'm getting to the point where I've had enough of being pregnant but then once the baby comes I'm not gonna get much rest am I?! Grin

Oh ladies- definitely not in the mood for sexy times, too massive and uncomfortable- there is only so many times one can take the 'laying on side' position before the novelty wears off!

I am sure there are a few more 'pregnant making love positions', but it's just too much effort. Having said that, I am not overdue yet, so may be willing to try anything by that point!

wobblyweeble82 · 15/04/2011 19:38

Sexy times sounds ever so Borat-like Leila :) And 'pregnant making love positions' isn't something I'd fancy googling Blush I admire these women who claim to be at it more than ever during these last few weeks. I'd need a cold compress on my forehead and elevated ankles for half an hour after, not to mention a full midwife check...

Pootletrinket · 15/04/2011 20:00

Am glad I'm not the only one, but have to profess at not even doing the 'laying on the side' position once! Keep putting it off until tmw night -and the next and the next, but will be 4 days overdue tmw and probably bringing forward that sweep I've got booked for 9 days over!!

wobblyweeble82 · 15/04/2011 21:32

Unfortunately, I don't 'do' cervixes. Which I fully appreciate isn't great when approaching childbirth. Still, sex vs sweep ... I'd go for bad sex every time!

This home alone malarkey I was looking forward to is mostly involving me craving a bottle of shiraz. Oh, to be slack shouldered and loose of morals, in the comfort of my own lounge. Me and the dog are having a lovely time listening to old records and cd's though. Just lacking a certain wine-tinted sentimentality. Here's to a good nights sleep, ladies - and maybe a weekend of babies :)

Pootletrinket · 16/04/2011 09:18

Having not had a sweep before, I didn't have that perspective, but will bear it in mind, thanks :)

LisMcA · 16/04/2011 17:01

Hi Ladies! EDD here! No signs of movement. Will pop back later if there is any update!

Pootletrinket · 16/04/2011 18:13

Groan, come on babies!!!!

StiffyByng · 16/04/2011 18:20

Milla I so sympathise on the SPD dash to the loo! I've gone a bit, um, free and easy down there today and it's a terrible combination! And all the sex stories make me laugh, especially that poor woman. We have managed it once in the last month or so, and are planning on another bash tonight. I heave myself on to all fours, which is unbearably sexy for us both.

I held back on painkillers yesterday-luckily had nothing more than the chiro to go out for. Had a huge spasm in the evening but by bedtime had saved enough allowance for a sod-off codeine. Ten hours sleep! I wish every one of you on here the same. It was miraculous.

Pootletrinket · 16/04/2011 19:02

LOL Stiffy, was beginning to think all 4s would be the best way, was planning on giving it a bash tonight but am that angry with DH today that I nearly told him to leave Shock - just what I need when I might go into labour. So am barely speaking to him instead Angry

StiffyByng · 16/04/2011 19:05

Eek! Any chance of calming down in time for a shexy interlude? I think we'll be combining with perineal massage for a truly erotic interlude.

Pootletrinket · 16/04/2011 19:48

Not much from my perspective, no! (in fact, NONE at all!).

You know how to live on a Sat night Stiffy!

Pootletrinket · 17/04/2011 11:04

Eek, didn't mean to kill the thread!! Managed to sleep last night, first time in almost 9 months that I went 6 hours without going to the loo!!!

Leilababyno1 · 17/04/2011 11:35

Hey ladies,

Just thought, where's the lady who started this thread-TotorosOcarina?!

Wonder if she's had her babba???

Well, the foot is definitely on the mend, and the sun is shining! Just had a walk to Waitrose to pick up some yummy pick-me-up foods and a copy of the Independant- gonna have a recline in the garden and soak up some much needed vitamin D!

Hope you are all well and whoever is planning on sexy times today... Good-luck and bring on the babies!

P.S. Happy EDD LisMcA!!

wobblyweeble82 · 17/04/2011 12:25

Afternoon ladies,

How we all diddlin'? Surely somebody must be contracting just a tiny bit? I keep thinking I am, but then it stops when I change position. Pah. Sleep still evades me, but I have just had a dreamy half hour nap in the sunshine in the garden. By the look on next doors face, I was snoring like a good 'un Grin.

Glad ankle is better Leila, and Lis - any signs? Pootle, your dedication to sexy time is quite admirable. I did immac my bikini line yesterday, though. I've decided I can't inflict that mess on either DH, an unsuspecting midwife or DD as she makes her entrance. She'll emerge looking like Leo Sayer ...

As Leila says, good luck and here's to a productive baby day! Failing that, a cold shandy in the garden will do :)

Pootletrinket · 17/04/2011 12:35

Wobbly, I keep finding I wake myself up with a snore - and dribbling, what's that about?!?!

Glad your ankle is better Leila!

Brought my sweep forwards from Thurs to Tues but MW ws wittering on about "and we'll book you in for induction as well" - "oh no you f'ing well won't" was going through my mind, but resisted urge to speak!

Dfinitely not my dedication to sexy time (which is very undedicated) must be Stiffy's you're thinking about!

Off to H&B to restock on Raspberry leaf stuffs!

Enjoy the sun!

frakyouveryverymuch · 17/04/2011 13:40

Well I'm now officially past due and still no sign....

Pretty much all methods of induction have been tried Wink but produced absolutely nothing. Then again I'm not expecting them to as conception on the date they suggested is medically impossible!

totoros is around - she was talking yesterday (?) about baby positioning before a presentation scan.

LisMcA · 17/04/2011 13:49

Still here ladies! Nothing doing! I think I have changed my body clock! I haven't been to bed before 3am for the last 5 nights, which means get up time is about 12/1pm. I am not sure if this is a good thing or not. Will reserve judgement til later!

Pootletrinket · 17/04/2011 15:30

frakyou - when do you reckon you should be due then? I was like that with DD, who was dragged out kicking and screaming (well, she was silent and not ready, it was me kicking and screaming!) as I knew she needed longer. This one, quite confident it should be out now! Much less movement yesterday and today, having a BBQ and if that doesn't get it wriggling, going to have it checked out - still making the 10 in 12, but very reduced for this active little beast

frakyouveryverymuch · 17/04/2011 15:54

By my averaged dates next Sunday is most probable but I have a screwy cycle... I know when I got the BFP and the only days we were in the same place to actually get me pregnant! Scan 2 said yesterday, scan 1 said the 20th, I think the 24th - I've split the difference and said the 20th on the stats thread for April.

I think baby was just big for dates when they did the scans at 11 and 13 weeks but we can't argue with the machine!

Pootletrinket · 17/04/2011 16:16

LOL, yes, my screwy cycle had this baby with an EDD 2 weeks earlier! Agree, can't argue with the machines!

4pudding · 17/04/2011 19:09

Hello! I've got two weeks to go- echo everything here! Had horrendous thrombosed pile about four weeks ago, pain worse than my first labour! Doc gave me a hardcore cream and codeine and it went away after about five days.

I can honestly say in my first pregnancy I slept better once the baby was born than in the last few weeks of pregnancy, so try not to get too disheartened.

Not long now ladies! X

Pootletrinket · 18/04/2011 14:34

C'mon girls, is there any news?!?!?

frakyouveryverymuch · 18/04/2011 14:39

Nope :( No news. No pains. No nothing.

MW appointment tomorrow to discuss ominous options....

LisMcA · 18/04/2011 15:16

Nada here! Have set MNer the challenge of laughing me into labour here

Bearing in mind Peter Kay failed, this may be a bit of a dead end, but at least I might get a giggle!!

Pootletrinket · 18/04/2011 15:44

Frakyou - what do the country you're in state with regard to sweeps/inductions etc?
