Heartburn, weird dreams, kicking baby.

Mostly the heart burn, just been sicl too.

Am really tired but can't get comfy.

Anyone else feeling a bit blurgh at the home stretch? Just kind of feel like I'm getting to the point where I've had enough of being pregnant but then once the baby comes I'm not gonna get much rest am I?! Grin

I am around, still unable to sleep and seeing as I have to get up for a dental appointment at eight I figured I'd just stay up and knock myself out later. :)

This is very true, plenty of things to make you worry, that or read pages of aibu. Grin

frakyouveryverymuch · 12/04/2011 06:22

AIBU not so good for the blood pressure! I keep thinking of things I want to post as well so come the morning rush there would be about 10 AIBUs on really petty things all from me Grin

Yukana · 12/04/2011 06:40

I tend to talk to DP about AIBU and he just rolls his eyes or ignores me nowadays. Grin There isn't a whole lot to do when you've got a large bump, no car, and not many chores!

frakyouveryverymuch · 12/04/2011 06:52

Even with a car there are limits! I have to get in the car to go anywhere and it's just so bloody uncomfortable I'm staying at home Grin

DH just rolls his eyes when I mention MN or talks disparagingly about my 'internet friends'. Although in fairness he does acknowledge that MN is a good source of advice and without it I'd be a bit isolated and not as well-informed! Not sure whether I'd be more or less paranoid though...

tadjennyp · 12/04/2011 07:14

frak! come and let us know on threadkillers what you have! Good luck for everyone on here and hope you get some sleep soon. My ds2 is only 9 weeks old and those uncomfortable, sleepless nights seem like a lifetime ago already. Fingers crossed!

wobblyweeble82 · 12/04/2011 07:16

I slept through! I slept through! I slept through! Grin

Woke up and couldn't get to the loo quick enough, but still ... I have verve, and vigour, and a slightly dead arm Grin

frakyouveryverymuch · 12/04/2011 07:44

Threadkillers? Is that where everyone decamped too?! You all dropped off threads I'm on and I couldn't find another UK is sleeping thread...

I was half-considering putting a shout out in LO for all of you but now I know where you're all hiding Grin

LittleMilla · 12/04/2011 07:54

Kicking myself for holding off posting here....been up since 6am Hmm. I am normally a bit fat sleeping whale, so this morning was odd. DH opened his eyes, saw me awake and exclaimed "are you OK...in labour!?!?!". Hoping that this is my 'surge of energy' before the main event.

Bout to head off to Sainsbury's armed with my shopping list. Might even treat myself to a posh coffee too.

Reckon I'll make it until midday before I am fast asleep again Grin.

Milkybrew · 12/04/2011 08:00

Wow! I slept through too! Thank goodness for antibiotics and anusol! And I can actually walk without wincing! Grin

TotorosOcarina · 12/04/2011 08:48

I slept really well last night, no idea what happened! Must've been lnackered.

I had a hours nap yesterday lunchtime so maybe that helped?

Got up for loo few times but went right back to sleep, yey!

Little man is running out of room though. No 'kicks' much anymore, just massive rolls that make me feel icky and whole limbs sticking out

Does this mean we'll all be congregating her at 3am tonight seeing as we all did marvellously last night?!

And know what you mean totoros - I actually grabbed an arm before... Sent me all peculiar behind the knees

LabMonkey · 12/04/2011 20:51

I'm 36+5 and I've still got a week and 2 days left at work. Baby's heading south and it's getting more uncomfortable by the day. My congestion at night which results in super-snoring is keeping DH awake (ironic as usually his snoring wakes me)! I get really sore hips and back at night which coupled with needing to pee every hour or so I'm not getting the best sleep either. I seem to spend every evening vegged on the sofa as I'm knackered and my legs ache.

Whinge over - I hope all of you ladies have a great sleep tonight :)

wobblyweeble82 · 13/04/2011 13:39

Bit of a steer away a second - has anybodfy else been feeling really nauseous again? A bit like the early days? I feel really quite woozy indeed. Grim. Normal, you reckon?

LisMcA · 13/04/2011 13:43

Yep! I get like that forst thing in the morning or when I haven't eaten anything for a while. Sometimes I'm sick and feel better right away, but eating something ususally works, even just an oatcake will do.

wobblyweeble82 · 13/04/2011 13:46

Ah good-oh. Not that you're being sick - good-oh that it's normal! Never had it with DS, so this is new. It comes on waves - and then I'll retch over something weird and then it passes. This morning, I could not face putting the dog food out. Jsut wasn't going to happen. Guess it's all these hormones again! Damn 'em! I guess eating little and often might be the way forward too. Thanks lis Grin - how many weeks have you got left?

Pootletrinket · 13/04/2011 15:18

Managed a complete night last night (due date was yesterday!) for first time in ages - was waking and lying awake for 2 hours and falling asleep just as DD would come in and wake me.

Those with piles, have you tried proctosedyl suppositories? Had 4 days of those last week and got rid of the little bleeders (!) but they were internal. Found the cream better than anusol, from Dr only though.

LisMcA · 13/04/2011 15:53

I have 3 days to go!! Its getting a bit ridiculous now! I can't beleive women do this more than once :o!!!

wobblyweeble82 · 13/04/2011 16:29

3 days! Exciting! Any niggles? I said I'd never do it again, but lo andbehold! Mind you, this really IS the last time. DH is going for the old snippy snippy snip snip Grin Fingers crossed you and pootle pop out thes babbies by weekend :)

LisMcA · 13/04/2011 16:37

Nope not a thing!! I'm going to see Peter Kay tomorrow night, so I hope I can be laughed into labour!!

wobblyweeble82 · 13/04/2011 16:40

Ha ha excellent Grin Make sure you've got your tena ladies with you though Wink And if it works, you'll have to tell him and then you can freebiies for his next tour or something! Happy days!

Pootletrinket · 13/04/2011 17:05

Great idea LisMcA to book something so close to your DD! Mind you, might make little one put in an early appearance - am almost tempted to book myself something similar just to tempt fate!

LisMcA · 13/04/2011 17:10

Only got the tickets yesterday after friend had her baby last Friday and can't go! DH is crapping himself! But I thinkit would be a novel way to bring on labour!!

Pootletrinket · 13/04/2011 17:14

LOL! It would be great!!!

jellyhead188 · 13/04/2011 18:31

ah feel for you - I am 37+3 and getting less and less sleep each night thanks to false starts, SPD, waking up having contractions and needing a wee!! The heartburn - ask your GP to give you omniprozole it will stop it! xx

wobblyweeble82 · 14/04/2011 02:13

Well, it's ten past two, and I'm sat with the ubiquitous hot milk and honey, watching Dave tonight. Dozed off lovely at ten-ish, then DH decided he'd snore like Daddy Pig again. And then the baby started kicking the bejesus out of the bladder. And then the heartburn kicked in. And then the ribs started hurting. And then I put my dressing gown, ignoring snore-pants whines of 'Where you going? Why you going down?' ...

I now have a face on me Grin

Anybody else up?
