ohh just had a really wierd shifting sensation in my belly. actually stopped me in my tracks walking into the kitchen. like the baby had its legs in my back and pushing outwards. very strange. especially seeing as i am feeling not alot else!

GruffaloMama · 17/03/2011 07:46

Hi all. Liz it wouldn't have been a braxton hicks, would it? I had a couple the other day that really winded me. I can't remember when you're supposed to get them. klou that's quite a schedule of work to get done but all sounds fab. And the outfits your mum's made sound gorgeous. melly sorry to hear about the hip - hope the new mattress will help. On train so gotta go. Have a lovely St Patrick's day all!

MadKatz · 17/03/2011 09:11

Happy St Patricks day!

Well I was getting sick of this tag...so I cut it off [hmmm]
I was expecting allsorts....pain, blood, the works, but nothing. And looking at the small bit of skin it was still attached by if would have been ages before it would have fallen off on its own.

So at least that's out the way now, one less thing to worry about.

Twinges are back so at least I know everythings alright in there! Smile

Melly19MummyToBe · 17/03/2011 10:53

Ironing the crotch in your pants? Shock while wearing them?? I would NOT like to do that!! That was a good buy on the paint, bargain!

Madkatz that is really strange, I had a dream last night that you did that! Thats good about the baby, im glad everything is fine :)

Cool! A shamrock Shamrock

Melly19MummyToBe · 17/03/2011 15:37

Just seen this on The Sun online It's so cute!

GruffaloMama · 17/03/2011 19:22

Melly - that's brill. Madkatz glad the twinges are back! IYSWIM...

Knicker ironing - my mum does that (not generally whilst on) Grin but I think ironing is cruelty to clothes.

BTW - from yesterday/wednesday - DH sleeps like a log so DS didn't (still doesn't) disturb him. Our room isn't big but we squeezed in the moses basket and later the travel cot as it meant I could could just reach in and get him/plug the dummy back in/stroke him to let him know I was there. I did put him in his cot for daytime naps from quite early so he got used to it.

Iwish · 17/03/2011 19:31

Hi all you lovely ladies!

Hope you are all ok

madkatz glad you tag is off now, good that it didn't bleed or anything too. I'm having twinges etc again this week. They kind of disappeared for a little while, wonder if anything in particular is going on at this stage for them to come back.

melly I'll have to check out the link. Hope you are ok too.

11 weeks tomorrow - yey!
Just been getting some clothes out the washing basket and have spent those few minutes doing it and heaving into the washing basket at the same time!! I am such a wierdo lol! That and washing up liquid and lemon body was can just tip me over the edge!

Iwish · 17/03/2011 19:32

Sorry gruffalo cross post. Hope you are ok today x

KLou111 · 17/03/2011 19:41

LOL on the knicker ironing!! I used to have a cleaning/ironing company and a lady used to give me her thongs!! 50p each I charged her, (which was kids clothes price) and she bloody paid it! I used to make a killing from her! :)

Glad you've got movement Madkatz Grin how far are you now?
Good news your tag is off now :)

I've put my bump piccies up, just about to upload today's (19 weeks), and still no different!! All the weight on my hips and bum I think.

Will have a look at that link Melly :)

evening all, i am glad you are all well. just come back from seeing dad in hospital and he seems ok, not half as bad as i thought he would be, so he is on the mend.

madkatz glad you are now de-taggedGrin has it left any kind of mark?

gruffalo i doubt that feeling was braxton hicks, i have felt nothing like it since, and i hope its too early for them, i am only 20 weeks and i dont want them starting yet! i did have them with dd, although it was more just the tightening of the belly, not actually feeling anything, just the hardness

lizandlulu · 17/03/2011 20:50

klou all the weight gone on your hips??? where?? i couldnt see any extra flab! puts me to shameGrin

Iwish · 17/03/2011 21:08

klou I can't see any flab either lol. I have more flab lol :)
You are going to be one of those girlies who has a perfect baby bump I reckon.

lizandlulu · 17/03/2011 21:47

yes i thought that too iwish one of those women who look like the have a perfect football under their top.

i didnt know i was pregnant is on again on discovery home and health

Iwish · 17/03/2011 22:14

Haha Liz I think I will be one of those who puts on about 6 stone and looks rough as toast! I've already got spots to start me off and I don't get spots!

Gutted I havnt got that channel! I would have liked to watch that. (well record it as I'm off to bed, don't laugh!)

MadKatz · 18/03/2011 10:16

I am definitely not gonna have a perfect baby bump, overweight before I got pregnant Sad
Liz it has left a little mark, mainly new pink skin which will go

Melly19MummyToBe · 18/03/2011 10:32

Klou I think you must be seeing things, you have not one ounce of flab Envy so jealous.

And same here Iwish, everytime I look in the mirror I have a new spot, been like this since the beginning, I'm also constantly eating so I have no idea what I'm going to look like after the birth :o

Just watching CBeebies with my neice and nephew (2 and almost 4) Come Outside is on, I used to love this show :o

KLou111 · 18/03/2011 15:52

Thank you girls, you are very kind, but I feel huge!!! I feel so heavy too, I've put on 6lbs so far.

When does this weeing frequently stop?? I was told the second trimester you get some time off before the third trimester, yet I seem to be weeing more lol!

SPOTS, FUCKING SPOTS!!! Don't get me started! I DON'T get spots, and I too have a new one every bloody day. Currently nursing the beginnings of a boil in the middle of my chin, not a happy bunny! Especially as we have my Dad's retirement do next weekend. I have got little diddy ones all over my back aswell, WTF they came from, I will never know. Sodding hormones!!! (Excuse my rant) Blush

Get used to Cbeebies Melly lol, plenty more of that to come :)

So glad your dad OK Liz :)

Mattress has just arrived :o

Got to work today and Pat, one of the women I work with had something for me, wrapped up in pink tissue paper, I opened it and she's knitted me 2 GORGEOUS little cardigans! one pink and one white :) I thought that was really nice and thoughtful of her :)

Also just nearly wet myself at my dads facebook status.
"my daughter just muttered to me i was the biggest bastard ever, i was quite angry until she repeated biggest best dad ever lol"
My little sister is 4 and a half :o

KLou111 · 18/03/2011 18:02

I hate it when she interferes. She polished all downstairs once, literally EVERYTHING had moved. All my ornaments had moved places, some had even moved rooms! She does piss me off sometimes.

Melly19MummyToBe · 18/03/2011 21:11

Just put a picture up of the 2 cardigans the woman from work made me :) well, not me personally, but you know what I mean lol!
