Hi! I thought I'd better start a new thread now because it might get busy tomorrow morning and I don't want to lose you all Grin

I didn't know about the limit. I'm still completely humbled that I've had so many well-wishers Smile, so I feel a little self conscious. Although I think we've all been led down this path by the baby somewhat!

Am completely knackered tonight so will say goodnight and will endeavour to keep you posted on happenings tomorrow.

Thanks once again for keeping me company xxx

we are with you hunny xx

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 10/02/2011 18:34

as everyone has said, sounds like you are doing really well, remember there are no medals handed out for bravery so do whatever you need to do to be comfortable and the baby will be fine.
you are already an amazing mummy to this little one, you have grown him/her from nothing and are about to give them life that is an awesome thing.
(apologies for the schmaltz)
follow your nose, it is all anyof us ever do and you will be fine. Smile

Jacksmama · 10/02/2011 18:38

Awwwww, of course you're teary and tired and feeling a bit down. (((((((HUG)))))) for you and (((((hug))))) for Pebble. It's all been a lot and it's coming down to the end now and I'm sure you're just done. So knowing that you've got a bit of an ordeal yet probably feels like the proverbial straw on the camel's back.

Thinking of you. Holding hand! xxxxx JM

Won't be long now! Try and rest whenever you get a chance and you'll be holding little pebble in no time!!! Big hugs x x x x and the best of luck to you all x x x x x

jenga079 · 10/02/2011 18:59

Come on Pebble!!!! Well done Southsea (and Southsea's DP!)

I'm sure you're knackered and frustrated, but hang on in there (obviously!) We're all rooting for you xxxx

Whatevertheweather · 10/02/2011 19:06

Awww bless you Southsea - i was induced with DD and I remember well how super frustrating it was trying to get going (3 days from 1st pessary to birth). It must be a gazillion times worse for you as you've already been in for so long before!

Keep your chin up xx

tadjennyp · 10/02/2011 19:10

Won't be long now and you'll have baby pebble there with you.

allyfe · 10/02/2011 19:21

You can be so proud of yourself! What a process you have been through.

Wish I had something really helpful to say but others have said it really.

So big hug and fingers crossed pebble decides to come a calling really soon. x

pastababe · 10/02/2011 19:28

We're all teary - but at least you have a reason - hang in there babe - it'll all be over soon

StormBird · 10/02/2011 19:34

Southsea We're all rooting for you and hope baby Pebble is here very soon. You are doing brilliantly Smile

Canella · 10/02/2011 19:40

oh you're doing really well southsea - i was induced with all 3 of mine and sometimes it is a waiting game!! but they pop out in the end!!! and pebble will too!!

maybe you need to have a really big cry - get all those tears out at one time! that always helps me rather than trying to hold them in!!

good luck and sending positive dilating thoughts!!!

BecauseItoldYouSo · 10/02/2011 19:46

I am another lurker from the begining. Sounds like it is going to be all systems go now. Good Luck!

sparkleshine · 10/02/2011 19:57

You are doing brilliant Southsea and of course you are going to feel teary and all emotional, you have been through the mill.

Also with being in hospital for weeks and stuck in that room, with thoughts and worry running through your head about the baby and the birth and now so very close to having your baby, well I think we would all be the same in your situation.

Great that the contrations have started and you had a show, hope s/he comes before the weekend for you both. Glad Mr Southsea is staying with you.
Come on Pebble...

We are all thinking about you and holding your hand and willing you on

smokeybacon · 10/02/2011 20:03

Awwww Southsea you've been so so patient for the last few weeks. Not long now.........

WickedWitchSouthWest · 10/02/2011 20:13

Oh southsea well done! It really won't be long now, keep focusing on Pebble and thinking what s/he will look like, have any hair, boy or girl...You'll be holding Pebble soon!

PerryandGilbert · 10/02/2011 20:15

Hi, just another lurker here, but have been following your thread from the beginning. You seem in such high spirits all the time :) . Good luck with it all, will be checking back tomorrow to see if s/he is here yet.

TooColdForPenguins · 10/02/2011 20:16

bump for Pebble news...

backintraining · 10/02/2011 20:20

My word this is all so exciting. I have been watching both threads from the beginning and cannot believe how you've handled this situation. Hope everything is going well........ very soon you'll have your gorgeous new baby!! Good luck.

taintedpaint · 10/02/2011 20:24

Thinking of you Southsea. :)

Come on Pebble (cute or what?!)!

tinksbabyis2 · 10/02/2011 20:35

Take care

mathanxiety · 10/02/2011 20:37

Hope it does go quickly, because with those bothersome monitors, you won't get much rest and will be completely knackered at the end and facing a hungry little baby...

Southsea, it does get painful, but when it's all done the pain stops immediately. You have that to look forward to.

WorzselMummage · 10/02/2011 21:48
