laylasmummy thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed. hcg levels going up is a good sign, and if it was ectopic wouldn't they have seen in the ultrasound (internal)? Also, I think you said they saw a sac in the uterus? The sonographer who scanned me last week couldn't get a good view of one of my ovaries, but said the chances of one sac in the uterus and one elsewhere were very very slim. It's such a horrendously worrying thing to go through, hope the med profs are treating you well xx

LadyInPink · 28/01/2011 11:28

Wishinandhopin - hope you get the answer you want too x

A very good point Misty9 about the sac seen on scan - that's a very hopeful sign laylas!

Wombat33 · 28/01/2011 11:42

Oh Laylasmummy I'm sorry this is all proving so stressful for you. I hope you managed to get some sleep last night and are not too hungry. Good luck for the laparoscopy and I hope it's good news x

laylasmummy09 · 28/01/2011 13:45

hi ladies im just updating what has happened today, doctor came and said there is a 10% chance that the pregnancy is still viable, but also a chance that it may be ectopic they decided that the chance it was ectopic was very small and not worth the risk of the surgery, so they have sent me home to wait it out and see what happens and they want me back sunday to test the hcg again depending on what they find they want me to consider a methotrexate injection to dizzolve the pregnancy, have any of you had any experience of this? thank again x

LadyInPink · 28/01/2011 14:27

No experience of it but wanted to say i'm so sorry it wasn't more conclusive for you.

Really hope they will scan you before administering the injection because 10% is still 10%.

Hope you are able to rest properly today and have some favourite foods after starvation yesterday.

x

Misty9 · 28/01/2011 14:28

laylasmummy that's bloody awful! The wait I mean... I've not had experience of the injection, but I have read a few threads where people are advised to have it, don't and then get later scans with healthy babies. We're the same gestational age (due 9th Sept) so you must be 8 weeks today as well? When was the last time they did a scan? Not sure how your doc can be so precise with 10% chance either... Have you any gut feeling about the pregnancy? Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with - I know it can be hard with med profs, but it's your body and you know best. If it's not meant to be (and fingers crossed it is) then nature will take care of it. Hope my questions aren't insensitive...
Big hug xx

Oh Lalyasmummy I'm so sorry it's not better news for you. I'm afraid I can't help on the injjection front but I see you've posted another thread about it so hopefully you'll get some useful information there. Big hugs xxx

Saffra · 28/01/2011 15:01

Hi Laylasmummy, I've been following this thread and am sorry to hear your news.

You might find this link helpful:

I know I did when I had an ectopic pg previously and was looking for information.

Good luck, hopefully you have a good outcome.

swannny · 28/01/2011 17:58

I'm so sorry to hear that hun xx

laylasmummy09 · 28/01/2011 18:43

thanks everyone,i think this is deffinitely not viable, and i also dont think that it is ectopic but wont know for sure til sunday they will test the hcg and a scan but im having lots of pain and bleeding so im kindof hoping everything passes naturally so i dont have to have the injection x

Misty9 · 28/01/2011 18:49

so sorry to hear that :(
hope you're being looked after and take it easy for a while. Nothing will help how you're feeling right now, but try to lean on others. Big hug xx

LadyInPink · 28/01/2011 19:12

Pain and bleeding doesn't sound good Sad so so sorry you have to go through this - have been through similar myself and know the pain, both physical and mental.

If it happens i hope it can be relatively quick and natural, take pain killers as they do help (i didn't as was in denial but wished now i had)

So sorry to read your latest post Sad

Big hug x

laylasmummy09 · 30/01/2011 17:59

hi ladies i just wanted to let you know i miscarried naturally this morning and scan showed it was complete and normal so no need foe ERPC or methotrexate wich is a good thing, it wasnt too painful physically so now i just have to heal mentally, thankyou very much for you support and good luck with your pregnancys hope to see you all again on a happier thread soon xxx

LadyInPink · 30/01/2011 18:33

Sad so sorry to hear that laylasmummy, i'm glad it was relatively swift for you and complete too. It's very normal to get a delayed reaction as you just have to cope at the time (I found it happened months later for me when my brave facade broke down). It takes time to heal as i know you would have had hopes and dreams for this child. It helped me to name my baby and write in the book at the hospital.

Big hugs for you at this sad time and hope to see you around mn again soon x

swannny · 31/01/2011 19:34

So sorry to hear that hunny. Hope you're ok. xxx

Saffra · 31/01/2011 20:41

Really sorry to hear :-(

I agree with LadyinPink's comments re: poss delayed reaction as this also happened to me, please be kind to yourself.

xx

Hi,
I am 7 weeks pregnant. Been feeling so queasy and sooo tired all through weeks 4,5,6. Now I am in week 7 and I feel completely normal. No tiredness. no food aversions/cravings. Just feel like myself. Is this normal??

scorpioamy · 25/01/2012 19:08

Hi there everyone...just wanted to comment as i am feeling just as worried as you guys.. i am 6 weeks pregnant and had stomach pains from when my period should have come up until last week and very sore boobs but this week it seems the symptoms are going away very confused just feel by boobs are a bit heavier and maybe a bit sore at night but not really that bad. I had a miscarriage in 2010 at 10 weeks so i hope it's not going to happen again. love to you all amy

beautysloth · 25/01/2012 21:53

I didn't know I was pregnant until last Monday. 15 weeks!

No symptoms, periods still ran just very very light and no indications at all.

nikosmum2010 · 26/01/2012 13:07

Hi Everyone

I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I would say not to worry too much as the pregnancy symptoms come and go and don't stay constant. I was also worried about sore boobs not being so sore anymore but had a scan yesterday and everything was fine. Stomach cramps are also normal. Only worry if you have stomach cramps and bleeding (thats what the doc told me)

dancechick · 26/01/2012 13:59

Thanks for that link Misty - fascinating and truly amazing how early you can see things like toes! Shock

I'm 5wks today and have had awful backache and sore boobs, but not that much different to the usual period stuff, so I'm also looking forward to the nausea (yes, there is more than one of us weirdos out there!).
