6 weeks pregnant and no symptoms, anyone else?

hi i am 6 weeks pregnant due 9 9 11Grin and apart from sore boobs last week ive had no other symptoms and i am really worried after a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in august,Sad also with previous pregnancys ive been severely sick, i just wanted to talk to people feeling the same xxx

hi ladies thanks for your messages, athough its not looking good, they found a 5 week sack with nothing in it but that means i would have concieved on the day i got my bfp, is that possible? so ive had blood taken for hormone levels to be checked and got to go back thursday to see if they have gone up but not holding my breath Sad x

Oh Laylasmummy I'm so sorry it's not more encouraging news. Try not to lose hope yet as things can be very variable in the early stages of pregnancy. I don't think it's possible to get a bfp the day you conceive as it take a few days for impantation to ooccur and few days more for the hormone levels to rise sufficiently to show on an HPT. It is possible for the dating in early scans to be a bit out, though obviously it would have been more reassuring for them to see the yolk and fetal pole. At least it's not to long to wait to go back for the blood test results. I'll be thinking of you in the meantime and keeping everything croossed for you xxx

I agree with Wombat in that they could have got the dates wrong so hopefully Thursday will shed enough light to give you a definite answer.

So sorry it wasn't as encouraging as you had hoped and try and rest as much as possible between now and Thursday to minimise stress.

hugs I had a friend who had a similar thing told to her, she was heartbroken, but it turned out it was too soon for them to see anything anyway and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy.

Was it an internal or external scan?

i had both as my womb faces the wrong way, im pretty sure this 1 is all over for me but am very happy to be proved wrong x

Hi all, it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong. I too was the same when expecting my first son, no symptoms, only bad boobs that lasted only a couple of days.
The night before my fifteen week scan i went out and bought several pregnancy tests as i was convinced that it was a mistake and i would look like a fraud at the scan, however the next day i couldn't how 'real' he looked!
I think every pregnancy is different as I wasn't so lucky to avoid these symptoms the second time. Hope everything goes well x

thanks cupoftea1im in nottingham swanny where bouts r you? im still trying to make my oh realise you cant get a bfp on the day you get pregnant but hes hoping for a miracle, even though the cramps and bleeding are worsening, bless him Smile x

sorry its taken me so long to post its been manic, im in the hospital as my hormone levels had only gone up 15%, i have got to have a laperoscopy to see if the pregnancy is ectopic, and if i havent gone down by midnight it will be tomorrow morning im nil by mouth and starving, oh went home at10 and i need sleep but doubbt ill get any, ill post tomorrow, thankyou for your support Smile x

I'm so sorry you still don't have 100% confirmation laylasmummy but from what you have said that does still mean theres hope as your hormones have gone up a bit and no more bleeding.

It's the waiting isn't it that's the worst part - how brave you are being though.

Hope you managed a bit of sleep and i'm thinking of you today and hope to hear back from you soon x

Sorry to barge in like this! It is my birthday today. Period due Monday. Took 4 day early superdrug test today-with FMU: came up negative. Can I trust it and drink tonight? Or is there a slim ( very much wanted ) chance that I am pregnant? I hope you wonderful ladies can share your thoughts and experiences. No symptoms of AF or pregnancy at the mo. TIA x
