Hi ladies, I've had a teeny tiny amount of slight spotting, only on wiping though. Made me burst into tears when I saw it last night. It's no worse this morning, and I've no worsening abdo pains/cramps, so I'm keeping fingers crossed it's all pretty normal stuff. I'm at the docs on monday anyway so will mention it then unless of course it gets worse or I start with the abdo pains. Still feeling sick, dizzy, tired and sore boobs so I'm hoping that is the overriding factor. It's still really worrying though.

backintraining · 08/01/2011 13:49

Firstly LittleWhiteSnowWolf I am so sorry! Look after yourself.

Congratulations to the new passengers on the September bus, it's getting busy, how fantastic.

100years two of my friends had this in the early stages, in fact one of them bled quite heavily, apparently it was just her body's way of dealing with it. Their "spottings" are now a 1 year old DD and 9 year old DS respectively so all was fine!!

I'm feeling quite crappy at the moment, more tired than anything and queasy. Am waiting to hear from our GP surgery on Monday as to whether I'll be midwife or Consultant led, all very exciting.

Hope everyone else is feeling well and beans are coming along nicely.

100years · 08/01/2011 18:34

Thanks backintraining. It's nice to hear stories like that. There has so far been no worsening of it and it's only a tiny amount. So staying as positive as possible. My OH says until someone says any different then all is fine in there.

laylasmummy09 · 08/01/2011 19:28

hiya everyone congratulations id like to join too, i got my bfp 0n 4th jan, due around 9th september,Grin im 22 engaged to a fantastic bloke, we have one girl 21months and 1 miscarriage in august so im really hoping this 1 sticks, no sickness yet thankfully as i had hyperemesis twice, although im sooo much more tired than in previous pg very sore breasts but really dont care, ill take it all for a healthy baby, good luck to all of you xxx

jimmijam · 08/01/2011 19:40

100years, a friend of myn had that a couple of years ago, she said it was when she wiped and when she 'explored', she too has a healthy little boy-her 3rd boy! the rest of her pregnancy went uneventfuly luckily. tho she did eat 1 huge box of jelly babies everynight for the last 2-3months-needless 2 say she put on a fair bit of unbaby weight!

so far im into cheese (with dd it was milk) and lemons (also had this with dd)-lemon cake, sliced lemon in hot water, the smell of lemons... perhaps it'll b another girl...

jimmijam · 08/01/2011 19:46

r any of u feeling a pressure right at the bottom of ur tummy, like its pushing out/stretching already? i'm 5.5 weeks, have the tiniest of bumps already (not 2 the point that any1 would notice tho :-) )won't b long and i'll b shopping 4 maternity jeans!

jazz412 · 08/01/2011 20:05

yes jimmijam I feel as though I've expanded lots! partner also notices it when he touches and I can see it but no one else can - I'm 6 weeks now I think! perhaps we're just pushing out our tummys because we want to show?! I don't think I am though, perhaps it's subconcious!
I get achy feelings in lower tummy every now and again which I had originally thought was period pains but apparently is making room for itself! (to baby - don't make too much room, I haven't got much as it is!! )
xxxx

laylasmummy09 · 08/01/2011 20:14

does anybody know if you have an earlier scan after miscarriage, i hope so coz im soo nervous x

jimmijam · 08/01/2011 20:15

haha, different places sa different things, but i believe at 6weeks is the size of a bean, heartpumping blood around its little circulatory system, is moving around, and growing nubs 4 arms, legs etc!!! amazing isnt it!! Grin

confu3ed · 08/01/2011 20:47

Hi girlies, can I join?

I did a pg test on NYE and due date is 5th sept. This will be no 2 DD is 11. Terrified as had awful miscarriage in Sept 2009 and been trying ever since. I am 34.

Feel pretty rubbish, really tired and keep feeling like I am going to pass out, waves of nausea especially when hungry. But all good signs which is reassuring :)

Layla you can ask for an early scan, they often suggest it around the time you miscarried. I am hoping for one on Monday.

Anyone else looking pg? My stomach is really bloated, have to keep hiding it from DD as I want to know everything is OK before I tell her.

laylasmummy09 · 08/01/2011 21:11

confu3ed hi and congratulations, mine was aug 2010 and was lucky to fall pregnant again quick, feeling very bloated, due on 9th, im terrified too, my miscarriage was missed by 3 weeks n very painful i had d n c, not sure if id be able to try again if i had another, really hope everything goes well for us xxx Smile

recklesspixie · 08/01/2011 21:39

hi all! can i join this bus too?
I new to this posting lark but have been keeping an eye on this thread as i was hoping to join (I'm a teacher so a September baby would be perfect for me)got my BFP 30mins ago!! yay!!

I'm 29, Irish, got married 3.5yrs ago and luckily for us it was our first month ttc :-)
according to MN's calculator I'm due 18th September!

have had an ache in my lower back for a few days, just wondering if anyone else has this??

confu3ed · 08/01/2011 21:53

Thanks Layla, fingers crossed for us both. I also had a missed miscarriage, followed by 2 ERPC's as they somehow missed it the first time! xx

laylasmummy09 · 08/01/2011 22:09

congrats recklesspixie, back pain is quite common early on, ive had a bit but its one of the better symptoms good luck x

Shootingstar100 · 08/01/2011 22:26

Hi everyone, welcome & congrats to new passengers on the bus!

I saw the doctor on Friday but wasn't much point to the appointment really! he said I should get the flu jab but I'm on a waiting list for it as the surgery has run out of stock! Has anyone else had the flu jab?

I'm finding the constant nausea hard to cope with - not actually sick, but feel sick almost all day! Have gone off loads of different foods and can hardly bear to look in the fridge. Really can't stomach vegetables or meat!!! Confused I'm craving jacket potatoes, cheese and junk food like chips!! Hardly a healthy diet Blush

Does anyone feel the same? Any tips?

waybuloony · 09/01/2011 09:35

Just been catching up on here - glad so many more have joined the bus. Fantastic!

confu3ed - just wanted to let you know that I'm having an early scan due to my previous mmc. I just rang the early pregnancy unit at the hospital and self-referred. Booked in for friday so keeping my fingers crossed!

Still no symptoms for me so getting a little stressed. Although am losing weight (just a few pounds) - which is a bonus after the christmas blow-out but is kind of weird. Anyone else?

recklesspixie · 09/01/2011 10:29

thanks laylasmummy, i've had it since 10po (implantation?) but i've read it's also a sign of mc so was a bit worried.....

myself and my dh are going out for a celebratory lunch today, so hard not to tell everyone, going to the doc on Monday to get the ball rolling....

hope everyone has a lovely day xx

Penel · 09/01/2011 10:39

Hi everyone, I too had GP appt on Friday and had combined flu/swine flu jab. Arm felt sore all weekend, but that's usual after a jab. I have booked in for a private scan at 8 weeks as am so worried after losing baby last time (at 14 weeks), so need some reassurance that's things are OK. Feel so much more bloated than I did last time. My gorgeous hubby just made me scrambled egg on toast and took one look at it and couldn't eat it! Good luck all. Oh and due date is 8 Sept.

laylasmummy09 · 09/01/2011 11:52

hi penel congratulations thats my due date too i keep getting 8th/9th on different calculators, so exited and not feeling too sick yet so im enjoying my food still, how much is ur private scan costing you id like one for the same reason but no idea where to go, tia x Smile

Penel · 09/01/2011 12:14

Hi Laylsamummy09. Fantastic news. Congratulations. We are paying £100 for a viability scan, which will listen to baby's heartbeat. We won't be able to find out whether there are any genetic abnormalities under 12 week nuchal fold scan, but I really want to hear heartbeat to put my mind at rest. We are going to Fetal Medicine Centre in London www.fetalmedicine.com/fmc/ as I went there last time and they were excellent, but I'm sure there are loads of other excellent places around UK.

laylasmummy09 · 09/01/2011 15:36

thanks penel ill look in to it, i have to put my mind at rest, the fact that im not feeling sick is not filling me with confidence, im just trying to think positive good luck for your scan Smile

jimmijam · 09/01/2011 15:55

Hi, we had early scan at fetal imaging centre last time, was £30, bt wen i lookd a couple of wks ago, 3+yrs l8a, its now £60! They were v.good, was 2 early 2c heartbeat so they scanned again 1-2wks l8a 4 free.they did external scans. Am having 1 on nhs in a week bt it will b an internal 1.

Sunnyandwild · 09/01/2011 15:55

Wow haven't checked this for a week or so and can't believe how many of us there are... How great!
Still feeling weird hungry sickness but think I'm getting used to it as seems better...
I'm waiting for doctors to have more flu vaccines too...

Hope you're all well and coping with all the weird symptoms...

jazz412 · 09/01/2011 16:29
