laylasmummy09 - are we the same person?? my SIL is due july 4th too! - how wierd is that, keeping my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow

ssmile - thanks will try that - now that i keep drinking it doesn't seem so bad, no smells are bad yet - which i guess is a good thing

Misty9 - DH loving the huge boobies i have now - must have gone up 2 cup sizes but can't not wear a bra as hurts to have them swinging around - especially in bed - no doubt this is bad for me though!

Does anyone else occasionally feel like there isn't enough oxygen in the air when they breathe? - i've had it a couple of times and it's very strange - also has anyone else had the raging horn - DH loving this too! i actually woke him up at 3am this morning!

anyway congrats to all - i've never really felt maternal but am getting more excited the more i think about it! although it still doesn't seem real.

Hi, can I join in? I got BFP on 17th Jan, think I'm due Spetember 24th. Very very nervous though as had an early MC in October at 6 weeks. So far have had a few aches and a tad of brown bleeding (just like last time) but this time am getting symptoms like sickness and sore boobs. If bean is still sticking by next week I'm going to take myself off for early scan. Me and DH very nervous but hopeful too. :-)

Allypally16 · 24/01/2011 20:49

Hi, I'd like to join the September bus!
Just done a test today! Probably due end of Sept - 30th? Am really hoping this one sticks as not had much luck last couple of years. But v lucky to have one ds who is 4. Have got the heaviest, sorest boobs too and dreading cleaning my teeth as it makes me feel sick everytime! :)

recklesspixie · 24/01/2011 20:52

NatalieH so glad you posted about feeling like there was a lack of oxygen, I've been feeling like that all evening and thought I was going mad! also agree about the- TMI Alert -rock poos, knew this was common in pregnancy but I eat really healthily and never have problems like that so though it wouldn't affect me, will have to make sure I drink more liquids! Thanks for your honesty!

NataliaH · 24/01/2011 21:12

Hi guys, I am soooo excited - just found out that I am 4 weeks pregnant with my first! Due on 27th September!!!! Natural pregnancy after several unsuccessful ivfs and mc in October.

magicalmimi · 25/01/2011 09:49

Hello, Can i join too. I am due around 28th September I think! After three positive tests feel brave enough to believe that I am pregnant! I have a DS who is 3.5 and have been ttc since April.Smile

Rupsje · 25/01/2011 13:04

Congratulations to the new ladies!

Feeling really upset and sorry for myself this morning. I am trying to keep this quiet at work until after the 12 week scan (very male dominated office) but have just been told I will need to go on a week long trip to the Middle East when I will be 9 weeks. So worried about it all.

Also worried people are starting to guess...

Sorry bit of a rant. Feel better now!

lxr1 · 25/01/2011 14:12

Welcome newbies!

Rupsje - you should be fine travelling, but if you're suffering with morning sickness, tiredness etc, it may be worth telling your manager?

Shopped for bras on Sat - went to Bravissimo who were great, already up a cup size...

I told my siblings over the weekend. Sister ecstatic! But also found out SIL is also pg, and is due the same week as me - it'll be her 3rd (whereas this is my 1st), and it feels like she's stealing my limelight....but I'm sure that's just my hormones talking...

JennyFurry · 25/01/2011 16:15

Hello to everyone - new and not so new!

I'm 6 weeks now :) Thinking of telling my Mum this week as not sure I can keep it a secret from her for another 6 weeks plus I'm sure she will guess anyway! Also I'm just starting to feel nauseous so being on leave this week and meeting up with friends is becoming a real challenge not to say anything!! But I am determined that only my DH and Mum know til later down the line.

How's everyone else feeling? x

laylasmummy09 · 25/01/2011 16:54

hi everyone, i think im getting off the bus, been for a scan today wich should have shown a 7+4 foetus but it showed a 5 week gestational sack, and no yolk sack or foetal pole wich means i would have concieved on the day i got my bfp wich im sure is not possible, so i have got to go back thursday to have hormone levels checked to see if they are rising but not holding my breath, congratulations to all the new ladies x

JennyFurry · 25/01/2011 17:39

JugglingMama · 26/01/2011 18:51

Hello everyone.
Ahh September- hope I make it that far. I has 3 mcs in a row last year, very harrowing. I had tests done between mc 2 and 3, all fine. I am 40 though so that prob doesnt help. i have a ds, aged 2 and a half. Yoday i went for my 1st consultant apt, and early scan. thankfully all ok so far (but I have been here before, last time, 7 wk scan and heartbeat and then a couple of weeks later found had a mmc at 7+3)Am taking nothing for granted now. Relief today mixed with fear! They dated me at 8wks, scan showed 15.3mm. Anyone got any comparisons? I am pretty sure its just 7wks based on my LMP dates etc. Sp I dont know, am due somewhere between Sept 7 and 16th, will ave to wait and see.
Am super nervous for the next 5 wks to pass, and am on aspirin and progesterone so fingers crosssed. Do feel sick as a parrot mind you, and the nonstop weeing, flippin heck!
Good luck everyone

AppleyEverAfter · 26/01/2011 19:18

So sorry Laylasmummy.

JugglingMama it really takes the excitement out of being pregnant when you've had mc doesn't it? Are the pills prescribed to avoid mc?

Penel · 26/01/2011 19:21

Is anyone else totally exhausted but struggling to sleep? I used to do 11 hour days at work without even thinking about it, but now can't work a minute past 5 pm as my brain has switched off (though to be fair isn't brilliant during day either!) and I am practically falling asleep at desk. I am having to set alarm for train journey home so I get off at my stop. But it is taking me ages to get to sleep then I keep on waking up. Think I am probably worried about scan at 8+2 on Friday, but so just need to sleep. Lack of sleep is worse than morning sickness, which incidentally definitely should not be called morning sickness as lasts all day!

jimmijam · 26/01/2011 19:22

laylasmummy hope u dont have 2 wait much longer and that u get good news!!

jugglingmum we had 6.5week scan, baby was about 7mm, sac was about 19.4mm i think. according to bounty or babycentre at 8weeks baby is about 1.6cmm, so sounds about right :-)

JugglingMama · 26/01/2011 20:23

thanks appley, and yes, the drugs are to help prevent another mc. not proven to work in all cases, but makes me feel better that at least they are doing something for me this time. thanks also jimmijam - ok, so maybe its nearer 8 wks, tho ds was v long, so it might just be genetics!

AppleyEverAfter · 27/01/2011 16:11

Penel I've been off all week, just in time for the all-day sickness to start. Queasy but not actually chundering yet. Dreading going back to work on Sat for a 9-hour shift. Luckily I'm desk-bound but it's a good 2-min run to the nearest loo. And yes I'm having trouble sleeping but I think it's because my mind is racing with all the things we need to do around the house to prepare for a baby!

recklesspixie · 27/01/2011 17:16

Penel i find it hard to fall asleep too and wake at least four times during the night for no reason...

laylasmummy how did your hormone check go today?
