We had a firm name for a girl, but after two scans he is 100% a boy..and it's harder than with a girl I think..soooooo.....

My 2 boy's are called Harry & Alfie.

Joshua we love too..but have had some issues about it..my cousin was born at 24 weeks as a twin, but didn't survive, so we don't know if calling the baby joshua would be a nice tribute to him or just be too painful for my aunt..(I suspect the latter tbh)

Love Archie too!

NotQuiteCockney · 23/09/2005 23:10

Euan? It sounds like you like boys names that begin with vowels (so do I), maybe there are others out there that you'll like? (I also wouldn't let others in your family get a vote, but I'm mean like that. Oliver's a good name.)

The faves I didn't get:
Tristan
Olaf
Linus
Lars

Our two are called Magnus and Leon.

Nemo1977 · 23/09/2005 23:10

ask your auntie about joshua???

waterfalls · 23/09/2005 23:12

I agree calling him Joshua would be painful for your Aunt.

waterfalls · 23/09/2005 23:12

Maybe as a middle name would be nice.

babyonboard · 23/09/2005 23:12

We want something quite 'classical' But not too common, and nothing too modern or trendy..it's hard!

Brendan is more traditional than Brandon.
I also like Samuel.

Hazellnut · 24/09/2005 08:27

Rory, Jacob, Noah, Isaac

We really struggled with boys names, just couldn't agree. But when the time came (a bit early in my defence) we had a boys name all sorted as we were convinced we were having a girl.... of course we had a girl....

Rachey1969 · 24/09/2005 12:23

Love a lot of these names but already have two ds (with four names between them) + their surname is a boy's name, it's difficult finding something that fits in with my existing 3 and new surname - love Leon but too similar to dd name. I don't think you can change styles too much - existing kids 2 hebrew names and a modern classic! Really like Jack but very popular. Really liking Finlay (Fin) at the mo... more ideas please! I've read the top 100 names and only these two are possibilities really. Also like Charlie...
