Quackers, TM here, so sorry haven't been on for a while. I felt so sad reading your post. How are you doing today ? I too have had some brown blood spotting and some tissue type discharge. Have a scan on Thursday booked. So nervous too. You poor thing. When is your next scan? What did the consultant say ?

I have been looking through all the posts for her too TM - cannot seem to find her posting anywhere.
I hope she is OK - Tried to contact her but i cannot remember what my password is so the email wont go.
Good luck with the scan on Thursday, i hope everything goes OK for you.
Keep us posted on what's happening.

Hi Jemma7. I know i have been looking too. So worried about her. Feel awful about not being there for her when she was posting, only just come on line. I hope all goes well on Thurs too. It's such an upredictable time. Never know what to think or feel. Poor Quackers, I feel so sad for her.

Hopefully mears has given her some good advice though - i just hope if she has any positiveness left in her that she clings to it just incase.
It's so horrible that it may be happening again - as if going through this sort of things once isn't bad enough.
Quackers, if your out there - keep hoping and praying that things may work out - i will kep everything crossed for you.

Thakyou you two, you're both little treasures!!!! You really are. I've been in hospital all day as you'll see from the other thread. All over, but I'm ok.
TM, again see the other thread. Lots of hugs for you, you must be very worried but have a little faith - I was just plain unlucky. Read all the postings I got when I said I was bleeding. It's amazing how many people have bleeding an dare ok!!! Take care my friend!!! You too Jems, how's persona doing for you/OPK's???

Haven't started them yet Quack - they didn't arrive until too late into my cycles so waiting for next cycles to start - getting on with the bd'ing though so maybe i wont need them...........
How are u feeling today? Is DH OK?

Fine thanks, he's ok too. Now where near as bad as last time, so we're ok at the mo. I did an incredible amount of bleeding though BP was v low, feel better now though. Yes, keep going with the bd'g!!

Glad you aren't feeling too low - am i right in thinking you has another child? Did they know about the pg?
Do you have any plans for your week off or are u just going o sit, enjoy the lovely weather and relax?

Quackers so good to hear from you. So sorry for what you've had to go through again. I hope you are going to have some relaxing and recharging time this week. Plenty of wine too. Huge hug for you. xxxxxxxxxxx Re me. No more bleeding yet but every time I go to the loo I am on edge. I bled with dd and she was fine but am really nervous about Thursday now.

Thanks Jems, I do have a dd, she is 3 in 4 weeks. Thank god I have her, she does make me laugh. The prognosis for having another healthy baby is good apparantlybecause of her. At the moment they say it was pure bad luck. I am off today on my own!! Lovely day in the garden reading a fab book I've got on m/c. She knew about the last baby as I had a bump and being 15 weeks told her. She still syas - I'm going to have a sister! I haven't mentioned it since but she adores babies and I feel I've let her down! Hopefully she'll have one within the year!! This book says half the battle for poeple who have had m/c is knowing where to get support and instant answers if they need it. I now have that back up, it didn't happen after the first but now I've had 2 m/c they were very reasssuring they would be there any time. I'm more relaxed. Hoping my cycles will go back to normal and can tr after 3.
TM, well I hope you manage to come online before tommorw, don't really know where to get you now as I'm not on the March thread. This is the toughest bit, I know, if you get that heartbeat tommorwow you have an 93-95% chance of all going ok, my consultant said. I'm keeping fingers crossed we don't have any more losses on our thread but the signs are looking very positive for you. I doubt very much you'll have a prob but if you do I will certainly be here for you if you need me, whenever. I have every confidence though you'll be absolutely fine. I just knew I had lost both of mine before I was even scanned. Symptoms disappeared etc.. Take care for now xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Quackers, haven't been on here since last week, so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. At least you have your beautiful dd to make you laugh and give you plenty of cuddles. Stay positive and strong and will continue to search for you to see how you are doing. Hi Quackers,

Thanks for your lovely thoughts. They are much appreciated. I am still feeling massively hungry so hope that is a good sign. Im both excited and nervous about tomorrow. I can't control it so will just have to wait and see. It is great to hear you so strong and positive and your dear little dd will have a brother or sister soon, Im sure you will be lucky 3rd time.
I will try and come on this afternoon to chat more. My boss is currently being an arsehole so being a bit careful.

Hi TM, you sound really optimistic - that's great, and you still have your symptoms so there's no reason why it should all go wrong. Oh you have an arsehole for a boss too then!! I have no time for mine - he's a loser. What time is your appointment tommorow?? Hope my hormones have all gone, that might be why I'm still doing ok. Better not be any left. Boobs not as big now but the nipples still are, suppose hormones stay for a while. Hope I don't go all funny then!!

What you mean go all funny when the hormones have gone ? You shouldn't. I would think that it's harder now when you're more hormonal ?
Yes my boss is being a tit today. No other way to describe him. I have a 1.30 slanging match planned with him which should be fun. I'd love to stick my fingers up and tell them to get on with it but I don't think there will be a flurry of people wanting to employ a pregnant lady. That is if I am of course. Appointment tomorrow is at 11. I am really nervous.

I just mean that last time when the hormones are finished there is a lacking and gap left which feels a bit like baby bues for a couple of days. Just imagine your boss either on the bog or shagging your school maths teacher/female teacher when he's being a tit. Mine treats me like an imbicile, Maybe it's marketing - men in marketing must be dick heads!! Don't want to go back - that's when it will hit me.
I've just been reading my m/c book and it says women who stress and get over anxious are really not doing their babies any favours. You are going to be nervous and can't help that but maybe think of your dd, I bet you were like me totally relaxed - ignorance is bliss the first time!!We were supposed to be pg together - I'm really disappointed!!! For me anyway - you should have no reason to worry at this point, even that book says she has seen women bleed like a period and have healthy babies. All the very best tommorw - I'll be thinking of you and please let me know how it goes. I'll be here for you xxxxxx

Hi all, hope you don't mind me nosing in on this thread. Quackers, hope you're doing ok. You sound ok, but don't be afraid to own up if you feel otherwise... the amount of blood you had sounds mad. What book is it you're reading? I have "Miscarriage: What every woman needs to know" (by Lesley Regan). I think it was recommended on mumsnet.

HI HD - GRT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! Yes it was the same book - its fab. I now know I defo have scarring where the previous m/c was and that is why this one implanted so far down in the womb and never even developed. The symptoms all tie in with that. Apparantly as I have had periods the scarring is not too bad and SHOULD clear up itself but I am asking at my scan on Friday if they will have a closer look for me to clarify this and make sure I'm ok for next time. I'll have to use my other tube for now till the other side heals!!!! Again good luck tommorow TM xxxxxx

Sounds promising quackers! Esp. as you had all that old stuff coming out the other day. Good idea to get them to check you out properly on Friday. I got the Lesley Regan book after my 2nd m/c and read the sections that I wanted to - haven't read everything on possible causes though. Still hoping mine happened by chance...

YM how did it go???? Was thinking of you! HD, yes that book is brill, I don't know for sure if that was the cause of this but it won't have helped, just have to wait a bit for it to heal. Feel sad today and have been crying last night and this morning, must be hormones. DD played up while out this morning and we both ended up crying in Woolies. Home now and that's where I'm staying. Get more clots when I'm stressed for some reason. She's going to nursery tommorow so should get break then!

No-one saw fortunately!! I'm not seeing the consultant tommorow, just having a scan and will ask them to have a look that I'm all in tact!! Not heard from TM yet. he must still be out and about. I do hope we have had thesem/c arriages through bad luck. How far were you - I have forgot exactly.

Quackers, glad you are keeping your chin up. I hope you don't mind but I must recommend this website www.babyloss.co.uk. I too m/c'd at 17 weeks and this site (even though I found it yonks later) was a real inspiration. It's actually very similar to mumsnet. If you click on forums from the homepage you will see what I mean. I know that mumsnet is fab & wonderful when you are having a baby. This sounds awful - but there are loads of women on there that are in the same situation as you. Like I said I hope you don't mind me posting this.
