Potty etiquette whilst out and about

We are currently 2 weeks into potty training my 2.5 y/o. What is the ‘potty etiquette’ when training out and about? Obviously ideally we would be close to a toilet even if using the carry potty. But what about when we’re out at places like the park and he can’t hold it for long? We are going to Centreparcs soon and i’m worried we’ll be on a walk and be in this situation. Probably overthinking it but don’t want to be judged for doing it wrong!

My smallest had a wee on a carry potty in TKMaxx once, aged 2, he was desperate, couldn’t wait so I discreetly put the potty behind the pushchair, he weed, potty back under the pushchair, get on with our shopping. Went to the toy aisle where another toddler had just wet himself as the mum didn’t have a potty to hand, and there was a huge puddle on the floor. Know which option I’d prefer to deal with.
