120 - oh, woohoo!!! huge drinks for you! (you'd never think that i'd just had a big sulk about the links to the tiny little sleep suits, would you...?)

missj, glad holiday was good, hope the scan goes well [vicariously excited emoticon]. we had three days of no naps for c, then she snuck in a couple of twenty min naps in the car the following two days, and today we put her down for a thirty minute nap at one o'clock: this seems to be working, she is going to sleep in under ten minutes when we put her to bed, but it does involve very meanly waking her up during the day. she seems to need about twleve and a half hours sleep in every twenty four hours, so if we let her have a long nap, she's going to be up later to balance it out. so it's just a question of working it out so that she can get through her day without being too tired. also, the teething seems to be settling down so maybe that's it - anyway, it's better, thankfully. i hope nye settles for you soon. exceedingly cute photos on the beach, incidentally

dog, hope you find the right suit, the blanket each is very cute.

sympathies to all whose tax credits (?) have gone awry. i'm afraid i don't understand our system properly so i am not going to tax my tiny mind trying to fathom yours, but it does seem horribly unfair that you are being stretched because the tax folks made a mistake

hope everyone is having a fine sunday evenig bank holiday tomorrow here, and niece's second birthday - so despite all good intentions, cake...

Have alovely time stripey, I am very very glad about C. You have done some serious work for it though,I admire your resolve!

MissJ - fab round-up. Am hoping for your scan today

at red spotty grow, and a baby to put in it Dog Are you feeling a little more rested? Or not really?

Thinking of you Pat, and bg waved to everyone.

Did our family budget last night. I have to say , it's . We should have had plenty of cash since Feb. So where is it? Then I rember we have paid off some fairly hefty overdrafts, and taken a chunk off a credit card...and so on. Plus I have had a good year of it haven't I? The girls wardrobes are bulging!

I have started a savings plan to pay for the cars mots, the quarterly bills that always seem to destroy us, and also the ctc bombshell. We are re-routing the child savings plans, the family allowance and some extra ££. If we keep to this we will have no dramas come April. [Aside cars breaking or failing MOT's, continued roof leaks etc Which it will. But it would have anyway and such is life]

I need to get into the groove, as in about 13 months dh may well be leaving work for un, and we will be living on 18k a year. So I have to start getting used to it.
If we tighten our belts significantly now, we will a) feel the massive tighten when dh resigns a little less b) clear the credit cards so the uni years are a little easier c) slightly reduce the overall debt we take on to achieve his degree.

It will be hard though. I struggle with work, and the idea that it was for 'spends' has been my saviour. The monotony & pressure of being the breadwiner. Urgh.

Now am I confused. Is Moose on holiday or is that later???

All thos talk of holidays is making me a bit

I'm booked to go away to Swanage in September camping with my brother and his wife and their 4 DCs. They paid for my tent pitch, which is rather fab Really looking forward to it and my kids will love hanging out with their cousins.

I chose to take my other friends gift of a holiday next June when my 2 LO's are bigger and easier to manage on my own.

One day I'll have to pay back in some way all these lovely things my friends do for me

My only concern with a tent in Sept is I need to find some childrens sleeping bags for them so they do not freeze. If I scrimp and save on food this month, I should have enough towards the end of the month to buy them.

Tree - I'm finished with the clip on seat now, my boy has decided he wants to sit on a booster seat like his sister now Should I post it back or to HKZ? Was it hers, or am I confused

OOOOO we got a cheap sleeping bag in Sainsburys tea. I think it was a tenner. If she goes to bed in leggings, pj's, and a jumper she'll be plenty warm

The chair was from HKZ in the begining, so I gues she can say where it goes next Maybe back to her or pass it on? It's had good use Nice when that happens.

Just reread my money post. It's very boring Pleae DO NOT READ

Helloooooo books!

Yes, whose duty is a new thread?

Or do you want me to make it. You just have to invent the title first DOG As I do not have that sort of clever imagination.

Glad you had a relaxing day and good sleep DOG for 2 nights.

That chair is awesome and so easy to wash too, as my little man is a mucky man still at eating. It is fab fab fab. He still swi[s his plate on the floor if I'm not fast enough once he finishes eating and feels fed up

My Sainsbo's is small but there is a good one nearby that sells clothes so I could go and look in there, my boy doesn't have a duvet yet. But munchkin does. No rush as it's not until 17th Sept I'm off.
