New thread for us to chat about our little jekyll & hydes...

Danny is currently stood next to me rearranging my DVD collection - I will be doing a work out to charlie & lola tonight apparently, while DS1 will be watching Billy Blanks Taebo with his pre-bedtime cup of milk and DH's history docu is hiding out with Diego in the city of lost toys...

If I trimmed my stem I'd never find it again. It's the vacuum that gets me.

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 06:34

swampy I watched an on-line video clip of how to insert andremove it. They obviously didn't show you the real thing but but used a cupped fist in the place of a woo.
In order to be able to pinch the base of the cup, it would have to be very low in the vagina, and the whole thing is supposed to sit inside the body which has me thinking, what if I put it too low or too high? Plus nearly £20 is alot of money to spend on something I might not get on with, but then if I do, think of the money I'd save on sanitary items every month and there'd be no more of my tampons in the river or towels in a land-fill.
I'm going into town today, so if I can't get one at least on order, then it is a sign

We're going on holiday tomorrow! Woo-hoo

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 06:47

I just looked at the results for my test paper on that course I'm doing.
Answers 1-5 passed. Answers 6-14 FAIL! Oh dear

TulipsInTheSunshine · 27/06/2010 11:41

well that party was fun... not. A spent 3 hours hanging off me whining and whinging and then the last hour insisting i hold his hand while he went up and down a little concrete ramp in their garden 2 billion times. I'm seriously going to give up on bringing him out soon. He's such a lovely cheerful, independant little sod at home and he's generally fine at my parents or out at the shops. But as soon as he's in any social situation he becomes this hysterical, aggressive monster that insists on being up in my arms constantly but freaks out if i try and sit down and talk to anyone or do anything other than what he wants.

SM, sorry about your test... was it worth alot of marks towards the total result?

mos... my periods are still not back and A does sleep through the night often enough... certainly as much as dd or ds1 were when my periods returned. It's bizarre... this long after having dd i was almost 8 months pregnant with ds1 yet this time i've not even got my cycle back yet!

dinky.... A could find a puddle in a drought. On the hottest days this year when the plants were wilting and the grass was so dry it was crunchy A could walk outside the door and end up soaked from head to toe within minutes. dd was always the same though, real water babies

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 12:25

Sorry you didn't get to enjoy the party tulips
Luke is opposite, fine when out and is very sociable but get him home and he is awful!

The paper is worth 35 points but I don't think it counts to final mark, but they won't let me move on until I get full marks

I just bought mooncup

dd was/is like that... i call her my 'street angel, house devil'. Funnily enough my mother used say the same about me

Spottyshoes · 27/06/2010 14:28

Sorry the party wasn't fun tulips and about your paper sm congrats on the (silvery) moooooooncup!!! I had to take the stem off completely! Clearly a woo of very short proportions me

When/where are you all meeting?

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 15:30

I'm now using the mooncup. I did have to trim the stem a fair bit but it was far easier to insert than I thought it would be.

Just done the packing for our week away and planned to get the flat cleaned and in order, but the boys are playing up and if I try to get on, dp just yells at them and I really don't like that, so I will have to wait until the boys go to bed.
Sometimes dp really pisses me off

Spottyshoes · 27/06/2010 16:11

I had a B size before and after having coz of cs, this time round as I am apparently old and vbac'd/slack of fanjo I had to buy the A and did a little at the size of it lol

Have a fab hol, we're hoping to go to a park resort in Norfolk as I can used my tesco vouchers to pay for it enjoy yourselves x

Spottyshoes · 27/06/2010 16:14

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 16:24

spotty I went straight for the size A as bothboys were vaginal deliveries.

mos Hope the packing is going ok

dinkystinky · 27/06/2010 19:07

SM - sorry about your paper - but its only your first paper on the course and you're yet to hit your stride, so please dont let it dent your enthusiasm for the course. Have a fantastic holiday and good luck for the interview tomorrow.

Went to parliament hill lido this morning- got there for opening at 10 am and was already a huge queue, left at noon and there were parking wars going on in the car park outside and an even huger queue waiting to go in - crazy! Was lovely while there though and both boys really loved it. Then had birthday party in south london this afternoon which was great - DH just bathing the little ones while I have 5 mins peace and then its the slightly belated bedtime battles for me.

Tulips - sorry A acted up at the party - Danny is either brilliant while out at parties or a total PITA. Today he decided to be great at the party but a total PITA all the way home instead - would almost it rather be the other way round...

dinky Thanks I amk a bit disappointed, obviously but I think if things were too easy and I never had to push myself, 'd never experience a sense of achievement, I'm ok aabout it though.
Glad you had a good day.

MarkStretch · 27/06/2010 21:16

I have got a mooncup but it really leaked and pissed me off. Maybe I am now also slack of fanjo as I am over 30....but how does one ever know?!

Plus, it's a bit tricky to find a toilet with a sink in, especially at work and in my new house the toilet and bathroom are separate.

Maybe I should put mine on ebay, do you think I will have many takers?!

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 21:30

lol MS how about taking a small bottle of water to the toilet with you to rinse it off or wipe with a femfresh or something?

MarkStretch · 27/06/2010 22:00

No offence SM but it normally resembles a murder scene, I don't think a bottle of water would do. However, I don't want to put you off! Crack on!

(excuse the pun)

SilveryMoon · 27/06/2010 22:03

Oh, hahaha. Ok!

Calico1 · 27/06/2010 22:39

Hi all

Just back from hols in Norfolk - fantastic but not in the least relaxing, please, please can I have a holiday on my own now?

Spottyshoes · 27/06/2010 23:57

Slack of fanjo test for MS - insert MC, attend aqua aerobics, finish said class, go to bogs, remove MC and find it full of water!!!!!!!! S.L.A.C.K I tell you

please dont say that Calico!!!!!

SilveryMoon · 28/06/2010 06:07

Hahaha spotty
Calico Oh dear. Not so relaxing then. I always find life much more stressful when we're not at home too.

I'm not going to go to that interview today. I know that's really bad to cancel t this late, but I wouldn't take the job anyway. I'll call them and tell them I've found employment local to me and don't wish to waste their time or something.

Jacob had a bit of a rough night last night, so am pretty tired. Roll on long nap in the car

SilveryMoon · 28/06/2010 09:28

I just contacted the college re my failed paper, and they say they only received answers 1-5.
My paper covered 3 pages, answers 1-5 was on page 1 and 6-14 pages 2 and 3. It was all in the same envelope so seems to just be a paperwork error on their en. I have e-mailed the work over so we shall see what happens now.

Calico1 · 28/06/2010 09:39

Spotty the main holiday stress was caused by DH - he is not used to dealing with toddlers 24/7 and had tantrums of his own when things went 'off schedule' as they always do when one is herding little ones around.....also my mum and dad were supposed to be joining us for part of the holiday to give DH and I some time off but dad is suffering from sciatica and couldn't make the drive to the coast. Thankfully the weather was fab and we messed about on the beach a lot - we had a beach hut which was a real bonus to keep Lilian out of the sun for at least some of the time. Hope the weather stays fine for you.

SM - hope you get the mystery of the missing exam papers solved!

SilveryMoon · 28/06/2010 09:43

Calico My dp is currently in the middle of a 2 week annual leave from work and like your dh isn't used to handling the boys so not sure hw this week away is going to go. He's only been up an hour and is already yelling at them
