Hey everyone, thought I should make an effort and get my ass on Blush

Bella hope all goes well with Nathaniel's op, when does he go in?

HT I really did laugh when I thought of Joe standing like a little man at the bar! Classic!!

Calyso is A stopped with the BF now? Or does she go back sometimes?

Iggly I got my scan date 4 days before the date! You should give them a phone just to make sure the doctor sent your stuff in. Cant believe your boss is being a prick Angry honestly, some people just dont think.

Scout have a really great holiday! Envy

Things have been pretty crazy here, could do without most of it lol....
Played at flute contest a couple of weeks ago, it was great playing again, we came 2nd! Cant wait till Feb the next one.

Scan told me I was 11 wks, so im now 13 wks. But it seems to be going in slow motion. Sickness is still bad & Im now the size I was when I was 5 months with Faith. The doctor im under at the hospital is great, and he will be doing my c-section. They are a bit worried about my scar on my womb holding, but from 28 weeks I will be seen every 2 wks. They are also clipping my tubes while I am open, they really say no more after this! I had the diabetic test also, which was clear, but they will want me at the hosp every month to test it.
Due on the 18th May (day before my DS's birthday) but will be taken in about 36 wks to have c-section.

Faith was taken into hosp on Monday, poor wee thing. She had really bad infection in her throat & couldnt eat or drink. She just threw everything up, so they rushed her into the sick baby ward. She got a line in her foot and got bloods taken & drips etc. Turns out she also had urine infection too. Got home yesterday, neither of us had slept in 5-6 days! I was given a camp bed & they put a bucket beside me!! Morning noon & night sickness.....the shame! lol....
She also started walking in the middle of it all, bad timing. And she also found herself a temper, it must be the red hair & being Irish lol...

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all being good!!

HumphreysCorner · 07/11/2010 20:19

littlepea-poor Faith and poor you. The sickness will get better soon but I remember how awful it is. Well done to Faith walking. Grin

How is everyone else? We had a firework party last night and Matthew loved it. Never cried once and he was outside the whole time.

Love to all!

Littlepea Poor weee F Grin at the walking

I was Mummy posesed yesterday.
I took all 4 shopping to Perth to get hockey kit for the girls. When I was a girl I had a hockey stick full stop. Oh no you need a pink hockey stick with go faster stripes, gum sheild of groovie colour (baby now making alot of noise in shop and ds1 needs the loo)shin gaurds that mould to your shins and of course are pink because they go under super comfy navy hockey socks (yes they saw us comming)(baby now playing with mobile telephone what eles!)and a scort a 2 in 1 skirt and shorts.(well at least it wasn't gym knickers that I heard Chris Evans getting all excited about last week!)Now astro shoes.Don't ask.Hockey bag etc.Job done time to look for a black sparkley cardi for dd2s Christmas dance and drees for dd1.We looked in lots of shops Nothing! I was at the point of not caring how much anything cost but just wanting it fast, real fast!
All 4 dc now starving to death.I looked in the coffee shops fondly and thought about paninis and lattes but couldn't face the wait and cues with all my dc so I headded to Marks and Sparks at full speed (we did need to get back for skiing and ds1s party)Everyone got out of my way as the Mclaren I have is now very old and squeeks rather loudly!(who needs elbows)
The staff at M and S were laughing at me as I allowed my dc to choose their lunch from the sandwich counter.2 boxes of shushi and pasta with feta cheese and sundried tomatoes.(I thought a prawn sandwhich was posh!)
M and S had an offer on chickens half price, only 2 per customer.I considered buying 10 2 for each of us but settled for none as my buggy was already overloaded with hockey stuff. No room for dinner!
Tried to pop into Next no lift and childrens wear on the first floor.Tough luck Next we aint commin
Last attempt Debenhams.Childrens wear on the top floor Sh"!$ !!!! dd1 phobic about lifts.I am determined. No sensible shop assistant is going to stop a demented mother of 4 on the escalators are they? anyway I have so many bags you hardly know that there is a bugy there at all! I was right and we made it up 3 flights of escalators.Phew.
No black cardigans and no dresses that dd1 would be seen dead in.

How to get down? no down escalators double SH!£"
I send the girls down the stairs and try to get ds1 into the lift with me.Nope he is now scared of lifts so I rummage around in the bag and find some percy pig sweets and grab him by the arm pulling him into the lift while stuffing a percy pig into his mouth (scaring him for life I am sure)Only to realise that I have dropped the bag of Percy pigs in the door way of the lift.It took 3 opening and closing of the doors before I realised why the lift wasn't working!DS1 now pretty hysterical.

How were your weekends ladies?

HappyTangerine · 08/11/2010 02:04

I am taking a break from deep cleaning the kitchen to MN. Joe woke up at 7.30 tonight really distressed, crying in pain and started projectile vomiting. Not sure why-there is a bug going round but he'd also had a new mummy created meal tonight (salmon & broccoli pasta thingy)which may have not agreed with him. Brought him downstairs, vomiting continued over me and through kitchen. Calmed him down with stories, kisses and an impromtu bath with me and some diluted squash whiche he loves. He then decided he wanted a boob feed so I wasn't so worried about his empty tum then.

He's been sleeping soundly since so fingers crossed it was a one off. I can't seem to get the smell of vomit out of my hair though, even after a bath and 2 showers! He was sick on dh as well - dh has not got a strong stomach and for a minute there I thought I'd have them both sick. They are both snoring away now Smile

We got a call Thurs am-vaccinations hadn't turned up so Joe's MMR is now this Thursday at the exact same time I was due to have my flu jab Hmm.

littlepea Poor Faith and poor you, what a week! Congrats Faith on the walking, I bet you couldn't believe the timing! Well done on the flute contest.

fidelma You are superwoman! What a stressful shopping trip, I am Grin at the vision of you and all the dcs and hockey gear going up the escalators. Poor ds and the lift, they can be scary. Percy Pigs heal all.Smile

HC Firework party sounds fun. Joe was exhausted from yesterdays adventures (park, shopping then Formby point to see the red squirrels and went to sleep at 6.30pm

Iggly I am so sorry things are so tough for you at work Sad

Scout Not long to go nowGrin

Joe stirring, gotta go x

HumphreysCorner · 08/11/2010 10:59

fidelma-your escapades made me laugh, thank you! Grin I did the Pizza Hut with all 3 last Summer but find clothes shopping a nightmare so usually go home empty handed. I have only once braved taking the pushchair up the escalator but it didn't have any bags hanging off it.

Waves to all!

fidelma · 08/11/2010 21:10

Just when you want to QUIT dd2 leaves me a love note on my pillow.Percy pigs and a hot bath to the rescue Grin

HT how is little Joe??

Off to bed, heating is broke & its freezing!! Hi to everyone Grin

princessProudmel · 09/11/2010 20:13

Hi everyone :)

Not been on for ages. Sorry. Most days Dh takes the laptop to work and I can't sit at the pc because F goes mad when I do!!! e tries to grab the mouse and bases the keyboard. I can't get on with MN very well on my iphone.

littlepea Poor Faith! :( How awful for you :( Dh has a throat infection atm and F has had a temp on and off since friday. I'm wondering if he's got a bit of the same. Fri night his temp was 39.6 :( He was screaming in pain/distress. It;s very hard for us to get any medicine into him which doesnt help. Yay about her walking though!

HT sorry J has been poorly too. Sick is just so grim to clear up. And then you;re on tenterooks for the whole night thinking they could throw up again any second!
F does the standing feeding too!

hc Hi :)

fidelma your shopping trips sound like mine!!! It's all so busy isn't it?

scout Sorry your feeling rough, enjoy your holiday :) Happy Birthday Seb :)

iggly sorry work isn't being good about baby no2. :( Hope you get a scan date soon.

CF Clubbing till 6am!! I'd love to but I am on constant call incase dh calls to say f needs me...

Bella :) hello!

Here's a run down from the Princess household.

F is still crawling but has done the odd 3 or 4 steps.
Still having no dairy but I now think wheat may be the problem Hmm
I gave him wheetabix with oat milk and he had the same symptoms. Only common factor was the wheetabix...
He has a cold and a night time coughdue to the mucous. It's karvol a gogo here.
He is getting 4 teeth all at once and is off his food.
Waking for a bf once a night on a good night. More on a bad night.

Grrrgh he's crying now and it's only ten past 8!!! That never happens! Sometimes he's not even in bed by now!

HappyTangerine · 12/11/2010 00:38

The winds are howling outside and I've just woken up...six hours too early but hey ho!

Joe finally had his jabs today,3 of them-12m booster, MMR and 13m. He cried predictably but soon perked up when he got to kick his "I was very brave" balloon all around the surgery as we were leaving. He's been very upset and tired tonight,I can feel new teeth coming through and its really hurting him Sad

littlepea and PPM I think we are now vomit free, fingers crossed. Suspect it was my cooking Hmm

PPM Yay for F walking! Sorry F is ill, its even worse if they have the teeth coming though at the same time. We'd had a nice lull in teething, I'd forgotten how bad it can get (or blocked it out of my memory!) Hope he is on the mend now.

fidelma How was shopping?Grin

My neice is 10 today and I'm [shocked]-where did the years go?! I posted some new pics of Joe on FB and was shocked looking at them in comparison to earlier ones, he looks like a proper little boy now. Am finally understanding the phrase "they grow up so quickly!"

Scout19075 · 12/11/2010 19:06

This time tomorrow morning we'll be on the way to Heathrow. This time tomorrow night we'll be on approach to home.

Lookin forward to childrens bedtime Blush

fidelma · 14/11/2010 22:25

x factor. No goodies in the house. One way to lose weight LOL

HappyTangerine · 15/11/2010 13:52

Its like the house of the sick here! Joe is full of cold and very, very grouchy. He had his MMR/12m and 13m last Thursday. Developed a red, hard lump at the pcv injection site and a high temp the other day, thats since gone down but he' definately not himself, v shouty and whiny.(I know this is all to be expected). And today he's gone on nursing strike. SadI'm hoping it's just the the teething but suspect it may be the end of bf for us-he's had nursing strikes before but not like this. I am full of some sort of viral infection, can't swallow and have gone deaf in one ear! DH, my lovely dh has taken the day off to help out but he's just started coughing as well...

I am very glad we had yesterday-had a fab time on the Wirral, exploring and shopping. The town we thought we wanted to move to is really not for us at all but we stopped off somewhere else and fell in love with the place, really nice feel to it, a country park and v family friendly. Closer to my mum as well and has a sailing club-dh has always wanted lessons and his face lit up when he saw it. Grin

fidelma · 15/11/2010 21:24

HT I like the sound of the town. I have my mum 30mins away and would love her even closer so good news for that also Grin
Sad that you are all ill I hate it when the little ones are ill.C still has a snotty nose.He always seems to get a cold 3 days after his music class.(takes mental note "must stop him snogging the other children !!!)

Igglybuff · 16/11/2010 18:59

HT sorry to hear you're ill :( terrible - there are so many germs about!

Lol fidelma at C snogging the kids!

I've had a rubbish day. Started bleeding early hours of this morning. Managed to get a scan and found out that there's no baby, just an empty sac :( stopped at 7 weeks :( DH was with me and we went to the pub afterwards and had a good cry. Then home early for hugs with William.

Pah.
