Sad Just checking back for news again Littlepea I so hope everything is ok xxx

fidelma Gorgeous castle, enjoy the wedding

Getting Joe his first shoes today as sock pulling off has become his favourite sport-especially launching them at puddles Hmm. Then travelling down to Wales to be with family for the weekend and Joe's little birthday party x

HumphreysCorner · 17/09/2010 09:19

littlepea-hope you are OK.x

Igglybuff · 17/09/2010 12:17

Also checking in for news of littlepea.

William is under the weather or teething-not sure. He's been really quiet this morning, very clingy. Didn't want lunch and just wanted boob. Then fell asleep on boob. Feels a bit hot but no fever. He did the same a week ago - think it was teeth? Doc said he was fine last time. I'm baffled :(

OP posts:
HappyTangerine · 17/09/2010 13:14

Iggly - Jseph is exactly the same when teething, v clingy and off all food except boob. He seemed to find the top teeth especially painful to cut but nothing like the pain he's experiencing now with 9 and 10 - he's constantly gnawing on his fingers or hand(or my nose). I hope W starts to feel better soon.

We are just back from getting Joe his first shoes. Good God, you'd swear he was being tortured! He reacted better to having his jabs. After screaming, crying so hard his face got blotchy and trying to crawl off, we settled on a pair. Interesting photo-I look thoroughly traumatised in it!

Sending out a big cwtch (Welsh hug) to littlepea and anyone else who needs it.

HappyTangerine · 17/09/2010 13:15

One say I will get through a post without making any typos....

HappyTangerine · 17/09/2010 13:16

Oh for God's sake - one DAY

Igglybuff · 17/09/2010 15:19

Grin HT thanks. It's tooth number 8 and I think 9&10 are not far behind. They're taking ages to show through - you can see the faint white bump but have done for days. He was quite happy after boob, snooze and calpol. He also stole some of our lunch (spicy chicken soup) and loved it!

Did you go to clarks? W was highly suspicious of the woman when she fitted his shoes. He finds them hard to walk in - much more stable in bare feet. Can't do that in the park though!

littlepea72 · 17/09/2010 18:49

Hey everyone Smile

Sorry Ive not been able to get on, not long out off hospital. I have 3 very big cyst's (sorry, my spelling is sooooo bad) one has already spilt, but they were watching one behind my womb with was very large.
They wont do anything for a while unless they have to, the baby is to small & might not make it if they do. If they cant drain them, then its an op. At least I know why the pain was so bad, I was thinking it was worse. I have to go back in on the 30th, the doctor will have a good look, but if the pain gets worse, then I have to go straight in.
Not allowed to do anything! Mum & dad have the wee ones, and my mum is moving in for a week.
We still dont know what the blood was about, but at least everything seems to be ok.
Going to get a cuppa.....

HumphreysCorner · 17/09/2010 18:57

littlepea-how worrying, thank you for updating us. Now rest, rest, rest. x

HappyTangerine · 17/09/2010 20:06

littlepea So good to hear from you, sorry you've had such a scare. Lots of tlc now, let yourself and baby be fussed over. x

Iggly Poor William Sad. Yes, we went to Clarks. Joseph was very suspicious of the woman who fitted his shoes as well, did not like her at all. He doesn't like anyone but me touching his feet so it was a bit of an ordeal for all concerned.

All set for Wales now and Joe's little party on Sunday. We're going to start looking for a place in Chester asap when we get back.Dh and I have outgrown this house, feel v claustrophobic and are starting to be quite bad tempered with each other. I think we should just bypass Chester altogether and get up to the Lake District now but dh is being sensible Hmm.

littlepea72 · 18/09/2010 14:04

HT have a great trip, and Happy Birthday tomorrow for little Joe Grin we will be having some cake here & joining in!

Iggly poor little William Sad teething is so hard on them, would be so much easier if they could talk to us.

Hi everyone Grin hope you are all enjoying your weekends!

I had a nice child-free night, so got alot of sleep & rest. This morning I have been stuck on sofa with morning sickness Grin bring it on! Its always a welcome sign. My mum & dad are bringing up the wee ones, I wouldnt even try to drive! Having to peel the cat from my lap, he is glued to my tummy! Runs after me crying untill I sit down, then he makes himself comfortable.

Watching the motogp Grin

fidelma · 19/09/2010 20:56

Littlepea great to hear from you and that all is going well.Get lots of rest, great that you have your mum. Hugs

Amazing wedding will post more later off too bed.

princessProudmel · 19/09/2010 22:04

littleppea Yay!!!! that the baby is ok! But please make sure you rest yourself.

My sil had cysts and had to be seen by a consultant during her pregnancy . It grew to the size if a grapefruit! But in the end, it wasn't bloccking the exit so she had a normal delivery. Funnily enough with the same MW that delivered dd!

ht hope J had a fab birthday! We still have over a month to go :)

Teeth F is cutting 3 and 4. His top fangy ones. Has been off his food for a while.

iggly F had a virus last week. Grumpy, hot and a temp. He was sleepy and off food. Lots of night wakes. Def a virus cos after a few days of this he had a post viral rash. My 3 always get these after the temps are gone.

fidelma I love weddings!!! We don't have any coming up to go to :(

CalypsoFramboise · 20/09/2010 11:53

littlepea gosh what a scare! I'm so happy for you that the little baby is fine :)
I had a cyst rupture in my 9th wk of pg, thought I was having an ectopic pg, was very painful, so hugs and cake to you x

HT hope J had a wonderful early birthday party and you had fun at your mums!

Seems that I'm in good company with off-baby. Annalise has been sleeping in batches of 40mins through the night for the past 5 days, I think I'm starting to halucinate with exhaustion!
She started at nursery also last week (since the sleepless nights started so not because of that) and it was going ok.
Feeding is a bit difficult as she's quite good at spoon feeding herself but I discourage her from using her hands (for things that are in a bowl - not sandwiches and fruit obviously!). At the nursery they gave her a big bowl of chicken noodle stirfry for lunch and she looked really baffled, squished it around, threw half on me and the rest of it with the bowl went on the floor, heh. She did alright spoonfeeding herself the ice-cream and rhubarb though! She's so tired and now is dropping her morning nap, she had a meltdown when I left, but I just called and they said she was having fun playing in the garden, so fingers crossed she'll have a nice lunch and go down for her afternoon nap :)

Oh and the wait for her first word is over - we were wondering if it would be French or English, and it's 'woof-woof' so I guess thats one to bilinguilism :o

Did we ever hear further from smallone? I hope you're doing well if you're lurking, take care and post! x

Scout19075 · 20/09/2010 23:09

littlepea Big hugs for you. I hope you're still resting on the sofa and that everyone around you is waiting on you hand and foot!

S is officially losing his gummy smile. I'm happy in that it means he (finally) has teeth but sad because I love the big gummy smile. I'm afraid when his teeth come in fully he won't look like a baby any more. DH said when I start "moaning" about things like that I sound broody.

To risk sounding completely naive, what's this about photos and shoes?

My hands are really sore -- I have lots of split fingers and little cuts (like paper cuts) all over my fingers and hands. ARGH! Been using breast cream on them since S is chewing them and hand cream (a la E45) hurts. DH thinks I should go to the GP and see if they can give me medicated cream because they're getting worse, not better. I've already been to the GP this month for a cold (wasn't going to go, but with the medicine whenever I get a cold or anything I have to have blood tests to make sure my immune system is still functioning) and felt stupid for that and feel even more silly for this.

Have just stood outside with DH looking at Jupiter.

Igglybuff · 21/09/2010 09:44

Hi everyone!

scout - see the GP if it's not getting better! Photos and shoes - Clarks take a picture of you and the little one with their first pair of "proper" shoes when you buy from them. Ours is terrible - William does not look impressed Grin

littlepea I hope you manage to get rest and you are feeling better soon.

calypso, A is very clever! W is just starting to try and use a spoon but not actually getting much in the mouth. He's also got a little fork and likes to try and stab bits which is quite funny.

princess I hope F gets better. It's hard when they're ill. Any more modelling jobs recently?

HT I saw on FB that you had a lovely weekend! Great to hear.

William is being funny with his meals - especially lunch time and lumps. He chews then sticks his tongue out to spit them out. With everything - biscuits, potatoes, bits of meat, toast, veg - you name it, he spits. He's got another cold so maybe that's it. I can't see any teeth on the way - when do the molars start? I also think I need to cut down his mid morning feed as it's interfering with his appetite now - he doesn't have a mid afternoon one any more and wolfs down his tea but only if it's easy to eat like rice or mashed potatoes (also has a snack).

His walking is coming along nicely - was looking for a backpack with a harness so can take him out. We've been letting him run around on the grass in the park which he loves!

Better go - he stirs from his nap

Hi all :)

scout Ouch that sounds painfull :( Is it do do with your weakened immune system? I'd go to gps asap and get proper cream.

CF F is waking lots at night too. Averaging 3 times a night for past 2 weeks.

iggly Yes he has the Clarks job this week and another one possibly coming up... :)

Went to soft play at our local farm today. F loves it there. He has such a lovely time.

I have a really sore neck. Due to lying on my side, bf F . I must have been in a funny position last night.
