Buy a blow up doll.

DH back. Had a long talk he realised he was totally unreasonable but was into his selfish single bloody minded to the detriment of everyone/everything else going to climb these 3 mountains thing. He has apologised and shed tears he has never cried before.

I admitted to my angry fags we are friends again.

Poor old shmoks is covered on spots and is having a lot more trouble than A did with them. Lots of porridge baths for him.

Family have posted a couple of pics of the day out on FB .

Jaffa, you lush.

Crying Jam? Has he PMT? I'm glad it's sorted though. Poor shmoks sounds like he's suffering.

LG&T, you dirty caaaaa. I've never heard anything like it in all my virginal, pure as the driven snow, innocent days.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2010 19:42

Ewwwww

Am on sick alert Jake just started. FFS. I sent them healthy. Now i will be trapped in all week as one by one it goes through them.

I need a bigger house so i can quarantine them.

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 06/06/2010 19:45

Oh no. Poor Jake. Has he eaten anything dodgy? What did he have for lunch? Right time frame for food poisoning at lunchtime. Might not be a bug. Give him his own towel, make him wash hands religiously and stay in bed or bathroom. Disinfect like a loon.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2010 19:54

We all had pastrami roll. I made them for lunch, we ate them in the car on way home at 12.

Phin sick at 130.

I will be holed up all week. Weather shit though, just watched Country file!

ShowOfHands · 06/06/2010 20:33

Robin Hood's on 5. Good, mindless viewing.

12hr bug then. Over and done with quickly. Only affects children over the age of 9.

Phone xp. Complain. You sent healthy children.

largeginandtonic · 06/06/2010 20:39

I did! That was my text

Jonah looks rough now...

Am watching Desperate Housewives. I blardy LOVE it. So funny.

Bowl each, they must be quiet and docile. Aids recovery.

Only seen DH a couple of times. Cute plumber iirc.

SKYTVADDICT · 06/06/2010 20:54

Oh no, poor you LG&T - hope they don't all get it - then the babies too!

We had a horrid night last night with L - he was so itchy. DP was up with him at 3.30 watching tv and playing, then he was in porridge bath at 6.30 am. He had had piriton too. Hoping for a much better night tonight as have resorted to Medised. Haven't told DP that you shouldn't give it to under 2s yet - will have to get it myself if he needs any in the night as DP is a bit of a stickler for the rules . He was questioning the porride too Jam - thought we might be feeding the spots! Had to google it at 7am to prove a point!

Hope your little L doesn't get it too bad.

C had it two years ago exactly this week and then DD2 got it for her birthday which is Tuesday!

Glad I am having no more babies - all mine have now most definitely not had mild doses!

DD1 is going to France tomorrow so have been shopping and packing for her today - am so tired now! She has to be at bus at 6.30 am!

largeginandtonic · 07/06/2010 09:26

Hope dd has fun Sky! Poor lad though

Have just done an online shop as i fear i may b in for the rest of the week.

I want THIS Quite badly.

I might have to sell some children.

Moijaimelacountry · 07/06/2010 10:43

Fun though!

Sorry about all the poorly kidies, not nice. Quick recoverys wished all round.

Need to eat... bye. x

JamInMyWellies · 07/06/2010 10:44

OOOh I like LG&T. How is the vom?

I want this one surprising really that DH has yet to come home with it. Maybe yesterdays talk will inspire him to pop out at lunch and get it.

SHmoks is a mess poor boy. At least with A he would settle to watch the telly and the porridge baths seemed to ease it but Lachlan is really struggling have used almost a tub of calamine aqueous already

SKY how is L this morning?

Pebble looks like you had a fun holiday.

SOH how is the driving?

ShowOfHands · 07/06/2010 11:17

Call those bags?

Nope I take it back. I want this one. I'd sell dh for that bag.

Driving? It's not driving. It's stalling. Very different.

largeginandtonic · 07/06/2010 11:34

The second one you can have. The first nooooooo.

Jamm that is very pretty. Think he will? Wouldn't that be lovely if he did. Crying and a new bag in 2 days

SOH it is not all stalling is it. There is progress.

Kids driving me crackers. Fight, fight. Am bored already.

Phin been pooing since she was sick yest. Jacob sick once all fine now.

Jonah off as he feels bleurgh but tbh he looks fine.

I want cake but can't be arsed to make it.

OP posts:
SKYTVADDICT · 07/06/2010 11:49

Poor Shmoks Jam - his face looks like it will be so painful.

We had a better night but there are still more spots this morning! Think the medised worked. It will probably be at least another week now until the new ones are scabbed!

Not really a bag person but like all those.

DD1 got off ok but was sat on the top deck 2nd row back - I am convinced there will be low bridges in France! Will not rest until she is back now!

ShowOfHands · 07/06/2010 13:40

Sky, definitely don't tell dp about Medised. It's not suitable for the under 6s now. He'd not cope at all with that I suspect.

That 2nd bag is lovely. Sadly, just had a quote to replace a missing stone in my engagement ring. Would cost more than the ring cost new. Told them we can't afford it. Grr. Definitely can't afford a lovely new bag.

Driving lesson with dh later, will take out my anger on the road. Or the clutch.

SKYTVADDICT · 07/06/2010 13:45

Re Medised - I am working on the fact that the GP told my neice to give it to her 20 month old when he had a bad chest infection, unfortunately the chemist wouldn't then sell it to her

Just like the GP told me to give DD2 a Nurofen 200mg tablet 3x a day and the chemist wouldn't sell that to me for her as she has to be 12! I went and bought some somewhere else.

Surely the GPs are correct!

ShowOfHands · 07/06/2010 13:54

"Surely the GPs are correct!" Mwahahahahahaha.

Sadly, not always the case. If I'd listened to my GP I'd have stopped bfing because antibiotics are strictly banned when bfing. Tosh.

GPs can prescribe certain medicines where you wouldn't ordinarily be permitted to buy them over the counter. The trouble is that there are reasons why a very small minority of children should not have medised and a pharmacist that wittingly sold it to a mother intending to give it to an under 6yr old and it turned out that the particular child was one of the unlucky few would be in serious, serious trouble.

The key is that the pharmacist can't knowingly sell it to you. I'm not advocating it necessarily but many mothers do buy it and omit the child's real age when asked.

largeginandtonic · 07/06/2010 14:15

yy i did that very same thing when buying medised the other day.

The pharmasist asked how old the child was i said "oh from 11-1". Vague.

I think when they are struggling to get off in to a deep nice sleep because of a cold/itching etc... it helps. Blue had been teething terribly and 2 1/2 mls help just enough occasionally.

SOH that is terrible news about your ring

Bored bored bored.
