Getting old?I bleedin well am old.

You had better be coming to the meet up, I may buy a new pair of shoes especially.

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/05/2010 21:10

Besides we need PC Plod to do the barb-b-queue.

ShowOfHands · 29/05/2010 21:15

You won't be needing those divine green ones anymore then?

PC Plod is only coming because Sailor Joe is. They're going to stand in the corner and be inappropriate. Can't wait. Is Bond coming? They could set up a committee around the bbq.

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/05/2010 21:30

I'm debating silver pewter, I fear it's not your thing.

Oooo two men how exciting. 007, having sorted out the miscreants in the haute pyreenes will have hot footed it back to Nairobi to go on a boys weekend climbing do some very important work.

Moijaimelacountry · 29/05/2010 22:05

Is she really here?

Nah too much wine obviously tonight.

Night all.

I LOVE YOU SOH. xx

ShowOfHands · 29/05/2010 22:26

mwah, love you too moomimin.

JamInMyWellies · 29/05/2010 22:31

Booored have eaten my body weight in greasy chop shop tea and chocolate. I hope the sun comes out tom.

OOh SOH nice to have you back.

Moijaimelacountry · 30/05/2010 20:34

am eting all our weight in crap...............

BOLLOCKS

elkiedee · 01/06/2010 12:54

Danny still naps sometimes at home and at his childminder. After some ridiculously long naps we did ask her to wake him after 2 hours...

How nice to pop by after ages away and see SOH posting!

Was talking to 120 aka Befnal and Four Little Feet on our other common postnatal thread and that reminded me, thought I'd come and bookmark this one and try to do some catch up at some point.

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2010 16:14

Am back from sunny Plymouth. We went to our fave Japanese restaurant. Beau slept all the way through and Blubell woke after the starters. She was very well behaved. Sea Bass went down far too well.

We managed to drink 2 bottles of Saki a bottle of white and 2 cocktails The bill was £175! We only go out once every 6 months i suppose.

Phin ok with it being on her Birthday. So either 26th or 27th ok here.

Did you get the money back? Have you a repalcement? Poor you with the washing and looking after the children all on your own Will bond be joining us then?

Sailor Joe and PC Plod are going to be talking ships and perps i fear.

SOH wants gladiator sandals. She would wear pewter i think. More likely crazy rainbow as a preference. She is poorly. Prob why she is posting Addled brain and all that.

Why are you eating crap MrsJB? Diet gone out the window? You dance too much for it to be an issue surely?

Jammy you are eating crap because you are pregnant. I feel it.

I would LOVE a nap in the day.

OP posts:
specialsmasher · 01/06/2010 16:32

Can I join in too? My dd was due May 07 but born in April.

She still naps - will you all hate me now?

Themasterandmargaritas · 01/06/2010 18:16

Welcome smasher we don't hate anyone especially if they are slightly bonkers, that helps.

Hi Elkie, lovely to see you.

No none of the money will ever see the light of day again. Pamela is coming in tomorrow for a week's trial. Then Anne next week.

In the meantime to add chaos to the usual very organised household we have added a tiny puppy.

at £175.

We are all allowed to eat some crap from time to time. Especially if you are pregnant doing a lot of exercise.

AprilMeadow · 01/06/2010 19:02

Welcome SpecialSmasher. My dd1 was due in May but arrived at the beginning of April

Sounds like you had a great time out LG&T. Nice to treat yourself from time to time.

What a shame about the money TMAM, fingers crossed that you find a replacement sharpish. Oooh a puppy, what breed?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PINK!!

Jammy could you be pg?

I thankfully am not! Slightly worried that there might have been a no.4, even had some pg symptoms but a massive sigh of relief when af showed her face. Funnily enough dh wasnt bothered if i had been said it wouldnt matter if i was.. He then decided that he wants the snip as he is convinced he has super sperm and doesnt want to spend time worrying that i might be pg lol

WRT to the meet up, anyone have any strong preferences to either the 26th(mon) or 27th(tues)?

specialsmasher · 01/06/2010 19:14

THanks for welcome! It's nice to be here - always felt I was missing out a bit as wasn't up to speed with mumsnetting when pregnant.

Might take me a while to get up to speed here too! - I'm liking it, though.

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2010 19:27

Jammy silence means everything. She is prob stuffing another chippy meal with extra choc for pudding isn't she

Nice to have you specialsmasher

Some of mine have still been sleeping on the day when they started school. Ds3 was often alseep in the afternoon!

Beau is not allowed to sleep. He sleeps for precious few hours as it is

Themasterandmargaritas · 01/06/2010 19:45

Here have a large Gin and Tonic. I'm loving Beebell. I can't wait to get Beau and Jasper together I think it may be lethal.

Oh poor you SOH with your spinning around disease and you not even a drinker, life's unfair. Will it ease up soon?

Gladiator sandals? Doesn't surprise me. But deffo not pewter.

Hedge End shopping sounds awesome, have you got a handy babysitter for 9 children? I'd be too scared to reveal myself to those two glamour pusses. They'd eat me alive with their long legs.

The first puppy is now 2.5 I wanted a fluffy spaniel type one, I've been waiting a long time. Hark at her with her chickens hamsters reptiles.

Walking them? Me? Are you mad, I have staff to do that. When they are not stealing from me.

AprilMeadow · 01/06/2010 19:58

I cant wait to see all the kiddies together again! We should turn it into an annual thing

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2010 20:08

Yy we should April.

Awww i LOVE the spaniel type doggies! I want a caramel coloured one. When i stop having babies that is.

We stayed in a hotel on Sat night. Dh was erm.. well y'know. I sent him out for condoms It was like i was 16 again. I am far too paranoid for any 'maybe's' atm. He had to walk to the nearest co-op. Oh the glamour

I can't talk am packing. Am off with MrAprilMeadow for his annual Tornado chasing hol.

OP posts:
AprilMeadow · 01/06/2010 20:17

LOL at sending N to buy condoms

Wow you are packing early! Doesnt leave until the 25th

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2010 20:44

I think he may try and leave me behind. I am packing so i can dash at a moments notice.

Dh was not so impressed at being sent out

AprilMeadow · 01/06/2010 21:06

Do you think you could get MIL to have kids for a week next year? He would take you with him if you can a) get cover for the kids & b) have £3k 'spare'

JamInMyWellies · 01/06/2010 21:28

Spluttering pregnant. No think you have to have ahem sex for that??

ShowOfHands · 01/06/2010 21:38

Aherm.

TMAM, do I need to send PC Plod over so that he can tug on his forlock braces and gad about a bit before arresting the pilfering thief?

[stuckinthe50s]

I'd like an English cocker. M would smother it with love.

27th for meet please if there are no other problems with that?

Look at me all upright and everything. Should be alright in 10 days or so. Is this what being drunk is like? One is not amused.

DD stopped napping at 13 months btw. Around the same time I started shaking and mumbling under my breath.

So, what's happened since Christmas?

Ginny, I bet N loved buying condoms. I see him swaggering there and back and asking loudly if they stock 'extra extra large'. The man has no shame.

largeginandtonic · 01/06/2010 21:47

Oh there was no shame. He bought TWO packets obv

A Birthday meet for Phin. She will be thrilled. Attention lover that she is.

I have those gladiators saved in my faves SOH from eons ago when we were looking at them < devoted >

Jammy no jiggy for you then atm? Why not? Pox killed the passion? Marriage done it
