haaaa - thats better!!

last nite, we had my DP's cousin at our house with his wife and 2 kids... there were 1.5 yrs old and 4.5 yrs old (i thought she was 6!! as she takes after her Dad who is 6.5).. anyway got to know them and had a lovely evening.. i went upstairs to get babas bodysuit ready for bed as she was worned out playing with them two.. i came back downstairs and my baba let out an almighty scream (everyone was in the living room with baba), what had happened was the 1.5 yrs old bit babas hand and baba just stood there in her playpen in shock and suddenly WWWWAAAAAAAIIIIILLLLLLLL (awww poor thing!)

ive gotta go as baba is tired and need to put in bed for her nap (cant you hear her?!)

Cazzybabs they are sooo lovely, Grace is a real cutie and Isabelle is beautiful.
Now I didn't see mummy in any of those pictures. Unless that was you with the white hair??
I love the baby walker picture.

cazzybabs · 05/09/2005 20:13

AHH - thaanks - yes she did climb up the slide herself...and there is one of me (only small as I am the camera owner, so I take most of the photos)..on the mirror thing.

Great photos crazzybabs...We really need to get organised and do a site especially as my parents live in Crete and my dh is a designer who can do websites

Partywise, as chimpy is birthday is the 28th we're going to have a bonfire party. We did one a couple of years ago and it was a bring a rocket party, it was a great sucess so we will do something similar and have the fireworks as soon as it's dark considering the star guest needs to be in bed for 7pm. The boys did want to do a fancy dress because they had seen baby outfits for chewbacca and yoda on the internet but I thought Oct was a little chilly for my last fancy dress party costume...wonderwoman
Biglips...I shall stop being silly about being nosey then and just butt right on in with 'What yer talking about' when I don't know whats going on

jbad.. good luck with the house hunting.

Chimpy starts mother & baby group this week, we had to wait for 8weeks for a place. I just hope he does rampage through the hall leaving devastation in his wake.

biglips · 05/09/2005 20:41

Riebee -

I found babymole halfway up the stairs today!

maisiemog · 05/09/2005 22:43

Babymole! Where are you going??
Riebee 'What's going on? What are you talking about?????? Eh?? Eh??!!

Biglips, Alfiebums has a babywalker hippo, but recently he has been avoiding it. He doesn't seem to want to walk. I think he knows I will get him a paper round when he does.
Geo - hows ds's rampage through your house going?
Alfie now spends as much time as he can in the loo, trying to flush the toilet??? What's that about?

Luggs · 06/09/2005 07:27

Baby has finally started crawling (the day I was scheduled for a doctors appointment to discuss !!) Mind you, now he's started I'm not sure why I was so keen for him to start as he is automatically attracted to anything dangerous - preferably involving live electricity.

Spoke his third word today which was duck. Not sure why as only has a toy duck at bathtime but clearly of great importantance to him!

Riebee · 06/09/2005 18:19

Maisiemog

Chimpy said a definate Da at his Daddy, dh was very pleased with it all.

Not so pleased later on through whilst having a wee and chimpy snuck up behind and a tiny hand was trying to catch his you know what .

Luggs..you may begin to wish baby would be a tad more stationary, I know I do some days. Theres a battle of wills going on at the moment....I have a wooden box for my tealights next to the fire and chimpy loves to eat them. He's determined to munch on them I'm equally determined not to move them and he will have to learn not to touch. As to whos winning.......80% of the candles have decorative teeth mark edges to them

maisiemog · 06/09/2005 19:05

Luggs, I'm glad he said duck, I thought he said a swearword for a minute there.
Yes they love electrical items and water, preferably mixed together.
Riebee, Alfie eats candles, I think Hipp organic has them as a flavour in some jars, due to their popularity.
He has had curry for the first time both today and yesterday. Poor old thing seems to have a bit of wind. Excuse me!

geogteach · 06/09/2005 19:09

Babygeog seems to favour paper as his food of choice can search it out from miles. Watch out all those toilet fans, DS1 put DH phone down a hotel toilet, it didn't recover!
DS1 starts school tomorrow, how many of you first time mums can imagine your little one at school?!

maisiemog · 06/09/2005 20:02

Aaah the little figure, going into school with a satchel. I'd be worried about Alfie being picked on, so I'd probably hang about the playground in a schoo uniform. 'Go way mum!'
What do you do about lunch, is it packed lunch or school dinner?
