August 2008: Crap, how did THAT happen?

Evening all . Apologies for disappearing off yesterday in a puff of smoke. I had a bit of a wobble when i finally left work, seeing people all chatting in the sunshine with friends. had a big yearning to go and see my old friends in Surrey and drink wine. So a call to DH, my CM, local friend and old friends and i had set up childcare, lift to preschool and a night away for me. Hopped in the car in Bristol at 4.45 and was in the pub at 7.15 in Surrey . We even won the pub quiz (with Dizz as our remote outpost member . Back home this morning feeling much rejuvenated

Busy day with friends over this avo and DD1 has been up and down since 7pm with DH away

Cyteen - you asked re DD1's naps and i am trying to reduce. She didn;t want to go to bed at 12.30 when DD2 did so i said fine. However at 2pm she really wanted to go and i said no. She fell asleep within 30 seconds this eve with no fuss, but oddly is having really restless sleep, so who knows what is best

miamla, yes dizz did win it for us but we are not sharing the prize, just the glory . It was my friends birthday so we called out team 'Bridgets Birthday Bash' although she is not called bridget, rather we are all 'Bridgets'. Everyone in the pub sang her happy birthday when we won and sang 'Dear Bridget'. We were POSL
