cyteen have you fallen into a drunken puddle of wine?....you disappeared after declaring your love for us all, which in rl usually means you're about to fall asleep or fall over

dizzydixies · 14/05/2010 21:37

oh crispy, London sounds fab

Cece - York sounds fab

Cece - ours start 2nd July and end 18th aug and DH and I have no time off together during that time

oopsandbabycoconut · 14/05/2010 21:37

Crispy - you are the thread tart - you would turn up at any meet London on Saturday just at the start of the touristy season sounds hellish lovely I am sure DD1 will be fine if you tell her the Queen has had to go out to feed her ponies or walk her dogs. BUT very of tea at the Ritz.

Cece - house party sounds good.

I might go off to bed in a sec - up early working at the auction tomorrow, you never know it might bring on a baby!

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:38

fookin ell crispy you don't half gadd about Tea at the Ritz ooooooh get you!

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:42

dizzY there is at least a month of overlap there...we must be able to sort somethign out. Bummer that you and dh have no time off together during the hols though . The only time dh and I have off together during T's summer hols is when we leave the country as a family!

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:45

cece DH bought it as an Xmas present for me in 2007!! It has taken a while to get organised

I thought it was Sazz who was the thread tart?

OP posts:
CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:52

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:53

I also forgot to say, I had a whiff of gardenia today and it was very nice

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:54

Was it a fragrant LadyGardenia?

OP posts:
CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:56

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:58

longwayfromhome · 14/05/2010 22:08

sorry not to catch up properly, but you might like to have a look here at my thread about breasts in the night garden ...

MrsMiamla · 14/05/2010 22:13

evening all, i was going to have a crafty making evening but given up. too tired and fed up with unpicking the mistakes!

cyteen DS used to throw his teddy bear and blanket out. most nights we went in, no talking/eye contact, gave them back to him and left. Other nights we ignored him. sorry can't remember what was more effective but, as a word of warning...when they get into a bed they learn new tricks! DS was screaming for me the other night and in his own special no vocab way he told me he'd lost his teddies and didn't know where there were! After a few mins searching under bed, in drawers etc i eventually found both teddies sitting on the window sill behind the drawn curtains. How i kept a straight face whilst telling teddies off for hiding from DS i will never know but i tucked them all back into bed again and he hasn't tried that particular trick again...yet!

MrsMiamla · 14/05/2010 22:16

oh and i'm not at all jealous about all these days out you lot seem to be having... honest!

cece reserve a corner for me at your party

LadyGardenia · 14/05/2010 22:16

LOL at boob chat and sniffing ladygardenias.

V tired, I'm afraid, have just packed ds1 off to bed with a new book (bribe) and dp is out for a few drinks so am going to have a bath or watch tv or maybe just collapse into bed with my lovely fat book. It's clean sheet day, too .

dizzy thanks for asking re. ds2's lady. She told me today she's been offered a fulltime job (not a childcare one) nearer home. I am a bit fed up on the one hand - this is her 2nd week, ds2 likes her, I like her - but on the other hand I do believe people have to go and do what makes them happy and she didn't plan it this way. I couldn't possibly afford to pay her a fulltime salary and don't want her fulltime anyway - max. 20 hours - so am not in a position to counteroffer etc. She has said she could combine the two but I am not sure that is wise. Probably not good for me to discuss her on here, I'd be if someone discussed me. Anyway - not sure what will happen now. We haven't even paid the agency for her yet! AAAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHH.

MrsMiamla · 14/05/2010 22:20

oh lg that's rubbish about your new girl

DS is also a sneaky boob grabby...he sidles his hand down the neck of my tops and has a quick stroke before i manage to get him out

dizzydixies · 14/05/2010 22:21

property porn before bed night all

MrsMiamla · 14/05/2010 22:22

Focusing a slight problem after a 30 min Tidy Towns meeting which involved 3 hours, several bottles of wine, mint Baileys, diagnosing and solving all problems in the Catholic Church, solutions to econonic crisis and AOB.

dizzydixies · 15/05/2010 04:38

Lordy it's going to be a long day, where's the medised?!?

cyteen · 15/05/2010 06:38

Crispy enjoy the Ritz. Maybe you'll bump into the Queen there?

MrsM I salute you for putting T in a bed already...was envisioning the future while trying to get J to sleep last night, I just know he will be the type to repeatedly wander. I was too

Indulging in a bit of early morning Night Garden here. DS is also having his daily scribble He has recently become addicted to drawing which DP, as a lifelong scribbler himself (example [[http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulgannaway/4262581995/), is over the moon about.

cyteen · 15/05/2010 06:38

FFS, example of DP's artwork here

MrsMiamla · 15/05/2010 07:24

morning girls, DS tried to get up at 5.30 but i convinced him to stay in his room and shout for daDdeeee play quietly until 6.15

morning dizz, fancy a strong coffee with a dash of medised?

cyteen nice scribbling
we had to put DS in a bed because he was getting a bit kamikaze in his exit techniques from his cot! He still chooses to get out of bed by climbing over the bed rail instead of via the gap next to it but hey ho, he'll learn (and the bump of him landing alerts me that he's awake!). I swear i gave birth to a rubber fruit bat in July 08!

had a chat with friend from wedding who was v pg when some of you met her (blimey, she needs a shorter nickname!). Her little girl is a week old today and she's so in love with her its amazing. She did it all on G&A and i don't think she appreciates quite what a bloody good job she did. She's such a wimp with things normally. I kept telling her how proud i was of her but she doesn't believe me!
