It wasn't crap advice dizzy! You and everyone else are completely right, and actually saying just what I needed to hear. It's hard when you're in the thick of it to remember that this really is probably just a phase - when they're blaring away in your face or kicking you in the tits during nappy changes or whatever, it's hard to gain perspective so having other mothers reassure me that this is just normal toddler stuff is really helpful

I may have only had one glass of wine, but I do love you all

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:10

oy who nicked my wine

lol at being kicked in the tits glad its not just O who does that.

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:12

O does have truly childlike innocence in his nonchalont fondling of my boobs...he will ram his hand down my top no matter where we are and try to tweak my nipple(s). Funny that, childlike innocence in a child of 21 months

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:14

crap news here I'm afraid...our lovely next door neighbour is very poorly with a brain tumour . ONly diagnosed about 5 weeks ago and now only has a few days left. He's only around his late 60s.

oopsandbabycoconut · 14/05/2010 21:15

CC - DD has started doing that too. Yesterday we were talking about the baby having booby for milk not food and she asked 'please i have a booby feed mummy?' So I offered and she looked horrified, she loves standing infront of me when I am on the loo stroking my boobs

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:15

I have a boob fondler here too. Book kicking and pinching occur often in the swimming pool

cece i think you will find from Cyteen's post above that she was the one who nicked your glass of wine .

How many times can one woman use the word 'only' in 2 sentences!!

Anyone else out there...?

oopsandbabycoconut · 14/05/2010 21:16

Cece - that is horrid news

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:17

aha crispy, I think you actually admitted stealing my wine a few posts back..... There's plenty more, help yourself!

cyteen we love you too

dizzydixies · 14/05/2010 21:19

oh Cece how awful for him, what a thing to happen much love darling

I've never been more fondled in my life before DD3 arrived - am sure she had a shot at Crispy's as well

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:19

Oh, x post cece what terrible news, and so quick. It is truly unfair . I am sure they know you will be praying for them and the comfort that will give

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:20

My boobs were made for fondling.....

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:21

ok ladies, I officially invite you to my conservatory warming party. We've yet to have it built but they are starting in about 3 weeks. All welcome, bring your tents if you wish. I have to warn you though, you may get fondled by ds2 (and possibly ds1 as well!)

dizzydixies · 14/05/2010 21:23

and great boobs they are too

Cece - shall think about a wee trip down thank you for lovely invite

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:23

How about the summer holdiays?

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:24

I'll come if there is sunshine there to warm it [bloody well fed up of cold weather emoticon]

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:26

How about I pack dh off to his friends and w organise a girly (and kiddie) overnighter/weekender/moveinforlifeifyoulike?

dizzydixies · 14/05/2010 21:27

well we had pissing rain, glorious sunshine, gale force winds, pissing rain and glorious sunshine again all in one day and apparently Dad had snow although it didn't lie - am not convinced it wasn't blossom falling from the tree

Cece - ours are different to yours - only in Scotland would we expect the kids to return to school just as the good weather starts

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:29

We had hail on Tues Dizz

Sounds fab cece, although Crispy is a tad shy

I also forgot to mention that we are off to York tomorrow sans children . It's one of dh's old uni friends 40th so we're out for a meal and some vino. But first, we drop the kids off at 10.30 am, then tool up and go shopping at the huge retail outlet place near York. Then on to the hotel so dh can watch the FA cup final whilst I have a well earned nap. Then out for the evening for good food, good wine followed by a good shag sleep

CaptainCaveman · 14/05/2010 21:32

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/05/2010 21:34

Although i shouldn;t complain, we are off to London tomorrow on the train. We are planning on going on the London eye, DD1 wants to go to Buckingham palace to meet the Queen [i can see a disappointed 3yr old coming up] and then off to the Ritz for tea
