Here we go!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Tigga, I can't believe that you have dismissed all the rest in one scathing comment and made a single exception for that one bloody shirt which I had told myself was outrageously overpriced.

Or maybe I should just revel in my impeccably sure taste?

And then remember my impeccably low bank balance.

dawntigga · 11/05/2010 08:34

Ah, but I know how much work went into the rest and compared - not so much.

Points out this little number - not difficult and not great but bloody expensive!

Now, you're going to the symposium your Fairy TiggaMomma has spoken! Your work is FAR better than you think it is. Look at again and decide what changes you want to make then make them. Buy the shirt only if you go

BoffinMum · 11/05/2010 09:40

My mumused to make me things like that when I was a kid in an afternoon, Tigga, out of end of rolls from shops. It is a lot of money for what it is (especially considering it was probably made in China).

I am actually considering going to dressmaking classes again to brush up on my knowledge and start making myself clothes I actually like.

Auld, you were so sweet to hold my hand with the French mail order thing, and offer your vouchers. I am deciding whether I am brave enough to order something at the moment. All the models look very sylph like.

bebemoohatessnot · 11/05/2010 12:35

So I was 99.9% sure that I was preggy, all the major symptoms: nausea, extreme tiredness, cravings, everything smelling different etc. I was just waiting for the 'no period' and that was going to be it. I was even lurking on the Jan. '11 club. Then it was late on Sunday and I thought, 'there we go' but I didn't do a test because I had no tests. Got tests yesterday, but this morning I've woken up and it's here and I feel so utterly shit.
I was positive. Now I'm just confused and cranky, and crampy. sigh
Sorry the me post I was just so certain and so happy.

BoffinMum · 11/05/2010 12:44

Oh bebe, sorry to hear that.

B52s · 11/05/2010 12:49

Feel for you Bebe.

bebemoohatessnot · 11/05/2010 13:52

At least I'll be able to go home for Thanksgiving this year If I was preggy I'd be too close to the end of term.

And now we can name the baby something like Utah, Arizonia, or Boulder depending on where we conceive.

bebemoohatessnot · 11/05/2010 13:57

Boff sorry to hear abt all your troubles. I suggest trying to get in a little more TLC and a revamp FW style. Only take one for the team if by doing so you're not belittling yourself too much. Don't undermine your great talents and abilities or let anyone else!
As for the drugs... dunno but give them a little time to sort you out and if it's still bad and you're not yourself then see what else can be done.
Lots of hugs. (and thanks for the chocolate; I've found the house severely lacking in the stuff today)

PuzzleRocks · 11/05/2010 15:01

Sorry to hear the Bebe. I hope it happens for you soon.

[Secretly hopes Bebe conceives in Hatcheechubbee, Alabama]

And sorry to hear you are so down Boff.

bebemoohatessnot · 11/05/2010 15:04

Puzzle we're not going that way

mrsgboring · 11/05/2010 17:04

Boff and Bebe, very for you. I'm not really here, I'm cooking dinner. Plus I'm lying low because the Vicar keeps ringing me up, I suspect to ask me to edit the church magazine and I'm trying to pluck up the courage to say NO I RESIGNED FROM THE COMMITTEE BUT THEY KEEP SENDING ME THE MINUTES AS THOUGH NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. GO AWAY.

Right, cook chicken while child sleeps.

Isn't the politics interesting?

bronze · 11/05/2010 23:55

Makes mental note of Bebes future babies name. You know you will be calling it that just as Orbit is still orbit (whats his real name again ?)

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 06:41

DH said he really likes the idea of Boulder. I said then we should also stop at Aspen then.

AuldAlliance · 12/05/2010 07:11

Tahoe has a ring to it...

dawntigga · 12/05/2010 07:26

Bebe sorry you're not up the duff - still you'll have fun trying

surprisenumber3 · 12/05/2010 10:24

just wanted to pop in and say hi - I am so bad at keeping up lately, struggling with keeping up with anything to be honest! But never mind! We go to Alcudia a week on Sunday, am dreading packing to go there but can't wait to be there!

Sorry you're not pg Bebe, hope it happens soon.

I need to stop BF, Evie now shouts 'boob' when she wants feeding...... seriously, I want to stop but I can't

ooh and my thyroid has normalised so no meds needed now!

Hope everyone is doing okay, Evie has her front tooth at last :D and is finally growing hair!

Hope to be back for a more 'involved' post soon xx

PuzzleRocks · 12/05/2010 10:29

Have a great time Surprise.

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 10:31

I was truly positive I was preggy. I'm wondering if it's a miscarriage. Even this period is different. Ah well. All my symptoms are gone again and I'm starting to feel nearly normal though 'periody.'
And it is so true.... It'll be much more fun on vacation if we're not sick and preggy. :O --As long as the next one doesn't end up being 'Tuba City' (which is in Arizonia, on the road to the Grand Canyon)

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 10:39

Have fun on Vacation Surprise!

bronze · 12/05/2010 10:43

Nooo I know where you have to go . Its in Minnesota.... Fertile
Though I think you would be safer going to Montana to a place called Joe

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 10:46

I suddenly had a flashback to childhood. My sister had a doll we called Surprise because She was a Baby Surprise Doll (kinda like a cabbage patch) which you got papers for seem to remember having to soak something to get at the papers and she had some weird name we didn't keep for her. We all just called her Surprise.
....

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 10:48

lol Bronze.

Minnesota wouldn't be much of a roadtrip (it's only 6 hours away) but considering how we're not sure how much riding it in the car Meg's going to cope with -that's just may be all the farther we get

frekkles · 12/05/2010 20:08

hey hey everybody! longtime no type! how's everyone doing? xx

Schulte · 12/05/2010 20:41

Hugs to Bebe. I was convinced I was pregnant a couple of months before I conceived Hazel - same as you, all the symptoms, then a weird period. I too thought it might be a very early miscarriage - but then who knows. When I did get pregnant with Hazel, on the other hand, I was certain I hadn't conceived that month as I only felt premenstrual! It may be the mind playing tricks on you

Jealous about holidays, to Joe or Alcudia, there is no holiday planned in the Schulte house.

Lots of love to everyone and Bicnod, hope O is feeling better xxx

bebemoohatessnot · 12/05/2010 20:48

Frekkles! How goes it? Same 'ol same 'ol here (tho I'm not completely in the loop any longer)
