Boff, you've been very good. Izys had what the others have. I've got slacker which each child. the only things he has different are things like crisps where he has the organix ones if they have normal because of salt levels.
Don't give him cake if you don't want to. He won't really notice though he might notice you eating his piece for him

Thank you for the welling wishing for Moo. One whole year as a Mommy down! Hard to believe all the things happening last year I was so stressed about made it through it as al you wise women said I would She had a grumpy day but I think we all had fun in the end. DH has been home for the entire long weekend and it's been lovely it's been like an extended birthday for Meg. Lots of family time together and now he's taken Moo swimming for the first time too.

Hope this past weeks birthdays have gone well for everyone else.

My DH is away all this week and I was contemplating not having any tea and just having easter egg instead. Is that wrong? .

We were at a soft play today in Laurencekirk with a pal. Babywarrior spent the 2 hours in the ball pool, grinning and applauding each time someone threw him a ball. Adorable . I may have gone down the bumpy slide a couple of times with the girls .

Zulu - yes I do find that friends/family are less likely to offer to help out now. Apart from my mum, she is a star I think they don't want to say that they'll only have 1 or 2 of them but they don't feel comfortable with all 3 so they just don't offer. I do understand really, it is a lot, especially when most of my friends have at least 2 themselve.

WFH - we had that toy for DS2, put it on freecycle a few years ago and wish we'd kept it as I'm sure Evie would love it! although he did used to stick balls in it that were too big and I would spend forever trying to get them out!

Auld - so sorry about the bad news you have had And Boff with your little hamster.

Well we spent the weekend decorating the lounge. So glad it is done! Evie also did 2 steps on friday but nothing since!

Am really looking forward to 15th. BB has just posted on FB page that Nutty is coming too As I will in London from the Tues I may not have internet access so will put my mobile number on there and would be grateful if someone could text anything last minute to me

Sorry I've been gone for so long, I've read through to catch up and seems lots of you are having a tough time, so hugs to all.

It was Aoife's birthday on Saturday and we took her cousins (10 of them!) to soft play and much fun was had by all. I'm sad when I look back at this time last year as I really didn't enjoy her enough in the first few months and wish I could have that time back

DH went to Ghana (where he was born) on Sunday for 10 days and am starting to appreciate how lucky i am and how much help he is. Luckily I'm off work for the Easter hols so A is at home with me, otherwise I wouldn't manage at all.

We've also all been ill with colds/stomach bugs etc. However, most weirdly for the past 10 days I've been having mad nosebleeds, come on at any time day or night and take forever to stop. Had a nightmare time when one started whilst I was bathing A yesterday...

Thank you! Felix had a nice birthday, I think. He was a bit nonplussed by some of the presents (new swing seat for the climbing frame, paddling pool) and just played with the paper a bit. He had a bit of a go on the swing (TP Quadpod, very nice) and liked that. He had a bit of a wander round clinging onto the sit on stuffed aeroplane his Grandad got him. Then he had a bit of a sleep with a pillow (now he is one he can apparently do that). Then he got up again and had a bit of fruit and cottage cheese for lunch - he's got a bit of a cold so somewhat off his food. In the afternoon we took him to see the fish at the garden centre, which he really liked a lot. We then had a cuppa tea in the caff and came home, and had dinner and birthday cake. Here was the recipe I used, as Felix is a cake and sugar newbie and I wanted something fairly simple for him, so as not to assault his digestion too much. And microwave cakes are really light and moist.

Cream 6oz unsalted butter with 6oz caster sugar. Add 2 large eggs, beat in with electric whisk. Add 6oz SR flour, vanilla essence and 1/2 tsp baking powder. Grease and line souffle dish and microwave on full for 7 minutes. Leave for a few minutes in dish before turning out. Meanwhile whip cream. Cool sponge rapidly in fridge. When cold, put whipped cream all over it and write on it with writing icing (microwave tubes for 4 seconds to get things flowing). Take through to dining room with a candle stuck in it and four tabletop sparklers (one of which has gone out because by the time you have lit the fourth the first has extinguished itself).

Felix took one look at his slice and stuck his face in and started taking bites straight out of it! No hands!

I have just seen the time. Exactly one year ago this minute he was born!

zulu - deep sea world is great - not massive but what's there is great - DH got me a dive with the sharks in October for my birthday - it was absolutely amaaaazing. hope you have a great time.

hope all the birthdays are going well- havent really started planning Angus' yet - will need to get going. I always find that things that happen in the first few days of a new month get left cause it's not this month iyswim.

Morning! Never seem to be able to take a minute to post, but am lurking regularly. Happy Birthday to all the early April babes - I am trying very hard to look forward to my birthday on Sat but just feeling old and tired at the moment Skin is all spotty, am fat and wobbly, none of my clothes fit and I am TIRED TIRED TIRED.

Have a work dilemma here if anyone has any thoughts.

Boys are both well, took them to the dentist yesterday and DS1 was SO GOOD I was incredibly proud. Orbit tried to bite the dentist's mirror.
