Good morning! Oh, all this broodiness on the thread is freaking me out a bit. There will be no more baby Schultes, not if I can avoid it anyway. I'm selling my breast pump on ebay as we speak!

I am finding ebay a bit addictive actually, I've been looking around me wondering which pieces of furniture and clothing I could put on there

Tiggs I love the picture of the Cub bottom shuffling and getting stuck poor thing thought, it must be very frustrating for him.

bebemoohatessnot · 09/03/2010 08:59

s for Moo sleeping...?!? I have no idea.
I've been trying to feed her something (besides the scavenged fuzz) every 2 hrs. Besides her 2 breast feeds a day, she's now eating 2x 200g jar of food as well as 50-75g of porridge, half a banana, inch of cinnamon toast, baby handful of cheerios, 200ml of liquid (smoothie or juice or water) as well as bits of my food and drink. (so I'd say she's back to eating as much as before she was sick last month) The only difference yesterday was she also had MILK, not mummy milk, Cow Milk! I mixed it with equal parts of coconut/pineapple smoothie and it went right down.
And I put her to bed after giving her some baby ibuprofen.
She also had only one nap yesterday, and it was early in the day (about noon) for 1.5 hours.
And we spent a lot more time out doors yesterday, went to the park. Walked to the shop. Went to the big grocery. walked around the neighborhood twice on 2 different occasions.

So it could have been any of those things. Or all of those things.

If you want to read all that again feel free to go to my garden tips link where I posted it in mistake

surprisenumber3 · 09/03/2010 10:03

great so 15th April? I will book somewhere to stay.

Rumpus thanks I will park at Richmond Park if we meet there. Is there anywhere nearby if it is rainy?

surprisenumber3 · 09/03/2010 10:14

MrsA congrats on your sis being pregnant, is it her first? My sis is also pregnant, due in July, it is her first

Bicnod - go for it, he will love to hear about it in the future! My DS2 has done various photoshoots in the past (stopped when he started school) and he loves telling people about it and seeing himself face in Toys R Us etc (and he built up a nice little nest egg).

Bebe- so glad Meg slept well. I shoveled food into Evie yesterday and she only woke up once, I am sure it is hunger that was waking her. Good idea with the milk in the smoothie, think I might try that!

Schulte · 09/03/2010 12:01

Good point, what if it rains? I suppose we could descend on Pizza Express in Richmond?

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 09/03/2010 13:33

The waiting is now officially killing me.

It's so bad, I've decided to take Orbit to Lidl.

Schulte · 09/03/2010 13:46

Fingers are still crossed! Buy some of their kinder chocolate style chocolate - it's yummy.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 09/03/2010 19:47

Operation went well!

Off to hospital to see Mum in about half an hour - they won't know for sure whether they got the whole tumour until it's been looked at by the lab, but the surgeon was very pleased with how it went.

Phew.

Hooray.

No champagne right now as I have to drive. But I feel like it!

MrsAFlowerpot · 09/03/2010 19:49

So pleased for you WFH! x

AuldAlliance · 09/03/2010 20:26

Excellent news!!

dawntigga · 10/03/2010 06:54

Yay WFH!!!!

dawntigga · 10/03/2010 08:21

Forgot to mention The Cub taught himself to sit up last night, if lying down, he turns on his front and pushes himself backwards until he meets some resistance then sits up.

HeCan'tDoItTheOtherWayYetTiggaxx

Schulte · 10/03/2010 08:52

Hooray WFH, what a relief!

kingbeat23 · 10/03/2010 10:27

brilliant news WFH - am hoping that everything is out and that she finally gets back on the mend.

so, how is everyone out there?? i seem to be fine but still being plagued by the winged beasties, looked them up on the internet and seem to be a form called harlequins, they were brought over here for some kind of offensive aphid grazing but have taken over the local populace and are the pigeons of the bug world. had a cranky call to the housing association and my new housing officer decided to arsely (sp?) tell me that as i wasnt working and was on benefits that i could get help with paying the costs seeing as i was a single mum and that i should have read my tenancy agreement.

anyhow, long story short, she found out that i'm working and new in the building so is going to try and sort it out via the company....was far too menstrual to begin trying to explain my situation out to her anyway.

Iris seems to be getting better, although she still has a chesty cough that wakes her from time to time and has another 3 teeth coming through at the same time. arse that you could fry an egg on its so bloody raw and still the little mite tries to smile through it all and be my happy little monkey.

still having major clingy fits. wont let me go even in surroundings she knows, upsetting and draining, but understandable as shes had so much change this month.

cant believe theyre going to be 1 seems like it was last week i couldnt make it to the end of the road without desparately needing to pee and turning in bed was akin to an elephant with an itchy back!!

hope youre all well...x

surprisenumber3 · 10/03/2010 13:37

Brilliant WFH

Evie only has two teeth at the bottom front but have just noticed she has another one at the top, but not at the front! It's the one next to the front one...how strange is she gonna look!!

ZuluWarrior · 10/03/2010 14:30

Babywarrior got that tooth through first too surprise. Then he got the other 3 top ones all in the same week. Ouch ouch ouch!!!

Nice to see you kingbeat. You sound like you're getting on just fine.

Tigga yay for the sitting cub!

WFH you must be so relieved. Fingers crossed for the lab results.

I am full of the joys of spring. It is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous here and I've just been for a run with the dogs in the forest. Buzzards overhead and shafts of sunlight throught the trees. I'd write a poem if I was in any way articulate! .

PuzzleRocks · 10/03/2010 15:44

Hello

WFH - Brilliant news. I cannot imagine how tough this has been for you and your family. I'm so pleased for you.

It has been a bit hectic here. llen was admitted to hospital last Thursday night. Same thing as before. She is much better now but still has a chesty cough.
All of us have been struggling with colds.

I stayed overnight with Ellen while DH stayed at home with Holly. As she has always been fed through the night I was expecting him to have a tough time but she woke only once and accepted a beaker of cows milk before going straight back to sleep.

Ginger - That's awful about your friend. DH and I remarked to each other that`whilst it is horrible to see Ellen unwell, and a drag to keep going up to the hospital, we try to look at it from the perspective that we are lucky to be taking her home again all fixed.

Surprise - How are you managing without the meds?
Great news about DS1's school. We are waiting to hear about September nursery places for Ellen.
When is your holiday?

Kaz - How did the party go?
Good luck with job hunting.

Bicnod - Sorry to hear about your Grandmother.
TTC? How exciting. Reading that made me feel broody. Oh dear.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I bought a clearblue digital ovulation predictor thingy when I was trying for Holly. Worked first time.
You are off to Cornwall again. Have a great time.
Ooh, O is going to model. How gorgeous. Keep us updated. I was in a commercial when I was 3. Twas never shown here though. It was for
an Austrian brancd. Or Dutch. Can never remember. I do remember getting about £70 (a fortune in 1980). I bought myself a pair of boots like monkey, a yellow fluffy all-in-one pajama with feet, and banked the rest.

My dog was in a jacobs club ad, my Mum's foot in a flymo ad, and my elder sister was in an episode of The Professionals. My Dad used to work in the industry so we got to do stuff like that ocassionally.

I am definitely up for an April meet. The only days that are no good are Friday 16th (Holly's birthday) and Friday 23rd (Ellen's).
I think I could manage to haul my arse to Richmond.

Ok, I just had a quick peek at Fei's AIBU. Holy moly.

King - How are your ladybirds?

Wildrumpus - What made you pick this name? For some reason it conjures images of cowgirls eating steak for me.

WFH - How did Orbit settle into nursery?

Zulu - I could throttle you for the "middle-aged frump" remark. You are a year younger than me.
"probably have to out myself as a doctor now" Don't worry, we don't mind. It's not like you are a traffic warden or an estate agent.

Schulte - Ysabelle? Were people kind?

Tigga - Holly is doing a, b, and c. Not many words though, just mama, baba (Papa), hello, byebye. I do think that's quite early though. I certainly wouldn't be worrying yet if cub isn't. I think Schulte's pretty spot on with those timelines.

MrsA - Congrats to your sister.

ZuluWarrior · 10/03/2010 15:48

Puzzle, you're as old as you feel. I feel middle-aged frump .

ROFL at your family's high-profile ad appearances. And so relieved that Ellen's OK.

surprisenumber3 · 10/03/2010 17:37

Puzzle so glad Ellen is okay now

Zulu, I am 2 years older than you!! In fact I think I'm one of the oldest here ((sobs)) :D

surprisenumber3 · 10/03/2010 18:32

oh I am soooo tired. Just posting here for a sit down

Evie asleep, boys in bath, DH in London!

Puzzle - do you like Earl Grey??!! ;)

PuzzleRocks · 10/03/2010 19:06

Thanks guys.

So many mistakes in that last post.

Surprise - Yup that's me. I won a hamper of tasty goodies.

surprisenumber3 · 10/03/2010 19:41

ha ha really? I have been meaning to mention it for a few weeks now - didn't really think it was you though! :D Earl Grey is my fave too.

Schulte · 10/03/2010 19:56

Can I join in the middle aged frump contest?

dawntigga · 10/03/2010 20:01

Erm, unless you ladies can top 41 I'm the oldest here

DemandsTheRespectHerDecrepitudeDeservesTiggaxx

ZuluWarrior · 11/03/2010 11:13

Oh hell. My baby screamed for 3 hours last night. I think DH is at his wit's end. Luckily I was on night shift!

What is with these babies? He is capable of sleeping for 12 hours - why won't he???
