Ok so a pretty boring thread title but thought we needed some distance from the last one!

That's just the thing, I didn't get a receipt. Went to pick it up and said I didn't know that I'd have to pay etc and after hardly any row he said don't worry about it, feel bad as they spent a couple of hours on it apparantly but I wouldn't have took it if I'd known I'd have to pay to get a quote for repair anyway.

Jane's doing well, bet you have it cracked by weekend.

Can't believe how much weight you've lost, you've done so well, if only I had the will power to give it a go.

muppetgirl · 16/03/2010 16:33

Inzi - you look amazing!!
Love the fairy on the computer idea and it was right up Jane's street. Can you call the night time nappy something different? We call Henry's pull ups 'Bob pants' and knows the difference between his and Toby's 'nappies' -call them 'Baby Toby nappeis' and refuses to have them on. Another place you might need her to wear them is in the car...
How did it go at the consultant's app?

Need coffee - at your laptop charge, annoys me when they don't do what you asked and then charge you for it.

I am waiting for news about a friend of mine who is being induced today -do you remember the lady I told you about who had an 11 1/2lb baby? well that's her so we're all wondering what size this one will be! Hoping all goes okay as she really doesn't want a c-section.

I am ebaying stuff I've made again and have bids on 2 hearts and watchers on a couple of my bags. Am keeping prices low as it's a new account and I need some positive feedback.
Anyone got any ideas as to anything I could make? I'm thinking little stars insetad of hearts as door hangers. Butterfly door hanger? Just need to be a bit different than the rest. I'd like to make party bags as I made black ones for Ollie's halloween party and the green ones on ebay are part of the ones I made for Toby's christening filled with stuff to keep the kids entertained.
Was thinking of targeting ladies who lunch (who spend silly amounts of money on not very much!) and weddings/christenings. I know others do this sort of thing but there's room for all of us I think + I want to use vintage (second hand!) fabric so no one can copy.

Be back later
love to all

Muppet-Hope your friend is okay
How about phone socks, glasses pouches, some type of hair accessories or belt attatchment type thing, little bags for bridesmaids or favours for weddings, not sure how much material you're going to have but personalised aprons'd go down well I reckon and carrier bag holders.

X posted Inzi and didn't your post before mine.
I don't know what to say!
Please don't go!!! If it really is a lady from here then I'm sure she is not meaning it personally to you, I've not read the other thread properly yet though. Will do it now xx

NeedCoffee · 16/03/2010 20:15

Awww Inzi
Even if it is someone from here, please don't leave, if they feel differently to you then that is up to them, you can agree to disagree.

NeedCoffee · 16/03/2010 20:20

When is DH coming home?

muppetgirl · 16/03/2010 20:36

I am assuming the thing that's most upsetting is that whoever it is has chosen to remain anonymous...?

We have different opinions but I feel that petpeev has gone a bit ott about expressing hers.

Telling people who have a problem with food/weight to 'just stop eating' is like telling someone who is depressed to 'pull yourself together.' Surely?

I don't diet, have a problem with food but I did have depression and can totally understand how a small and seemingly insignificant part of life can totally overwhelm you as it is a mental health issue not purely a question of stopping eating/pulling yourself toegther.

And really the way to think of it is;
if you could stop eating and lose weight that way, wouldn't you do it?

Inzi Glad DH is home and making you better
I can see what you mean but it's possible that they may not have agreed with the route you chose to take but opted to not mention it either to not rock the boat or as they didn't want to discourage you.
Hopefully if it is someone from here they will message you personally and you can sort it out if you want to.

Glad you're staying Now pass me some of that chocolate back, you don't need it and I'm sat here all alone trying to watch Glee and worrying about the colposcopy in morning

NeedCoffee · 16/03/2010 20:52

Oh and Dallllllllllllllllllllllll-come tell us about the midwife appointment!

muppetgirl · 16/03/2010 20:59
NeedCoffee · 16/03/2010 21:05

I reckon we should all get creme eggs and whispers in for when Dal gives birth so we can all celebrate at same time with a choc fest

Thanks, you wont cry if I squeeze really hard will you?!

I rung them yesterday to check I still needed it as my smear was actually clear, but they said that I do just to check...going to go get a bath and try to keep calm. They also said as I wont have anyone with me I'll have to wait a little bit longer before they let me home, not sure why though. Guess I'll see tomorrow.
Off to bed after bath, hope you all sleep well

Mine · 16/03/2010 21:29

I'm already halfway through my creme egg...... i admit it, i am WEAK!!

Come on Dal....i could always eat another one!!

Inzi - pls don't take heart to that woman's comments. What do her opinions count to you? All you need to do is keep in mind what you have achieved and never let anyone make you feel bad about anything you have done, and especially not to make you feel bad about yourself.

You look gorgeous by the way!!

inzi - hope you're feeling calmer now, I think you're right, I don't think they really are from our thread.

Hi mine x

Choc fest sounds great to me, shall get supplies!!
night all
xx

Dalrymps · 16/03/2010 23:47

Still around, just off to bed... No baby signs yet apart from more general achyness. Sorry a poster made you cry inzi, just ignore her whoever she is! Will read the thread in the morning to see what happened and reply to you all properly. Night x

babyblue4 · 17/03/2010 04:29

Wow... everytime I leave for a few days, this thread explodes with controversy, interesting subjects and talk of CHOCOLATE!!! Count me in to the choc fest. Have been trying to diet but its not working for some reason???

Inzi - You look gorgeous! Ignore the cow who went off on you and revel in your accomplishments. I am battling the baby bulge right now, and would not want anyone to criticize my methods of losing weight. I do what I am comfortable doing, and its nobodys' business but my own.

Congrats on the success so far with potty training!! Love the fairy pouch idea... will be using that for sure! Am definitely

Dal - My bet is on Sunday morning... sorry! LOL... hopefully he comes out sooner!! Make sure that creme egg is xpress posted please

NC - Love the whine video Sofia is definitely a member of a similar club. She however doesnt just whine, she full-out wails!! Hmmm... we should all put together a video of our toddlers acting out. Would make for an interesting little reality series!!! LOL

Sofia's main issue right now is going to bed. She either wants to sleep in her sisters' bed, or she wont go to bed at all unless DD1 is in bed as well. Naps have also become a nightmare. She used to get a story and then would settle down as I left. Now she wails 'mummy' over and over and jumps like crazy in her crib. Sigh... she still needs the naps though, because once she is asleep, she stays that way for a min of 2 hours.

I agree that consistency is good. But sometimes I am just not up to the battle! 4 kids drains me! With the first 2 I was rock solid... now, I just dont have the fight left in me half the time. I am worried that Sofia is going to be a nightmare when she is older cuz she knows she can often walk over me. I dont know... maybe when I am back to work and have some away time, I will get my feistiness back .

Off to bed for me... DH is home all week (DCs on half term break) so we been busy getting things done around the house. Got some good organizing done and managed to get rid of a load of stuff. Feels good!!!

Anyway... hello to those I missed and love to all
