Ladies, the unthinkable has happened: DS has turned down cake I made some (rather delicious if I do say so myself) carrot and mandarin muffins, and he threw his to the floor with a look of outrage! Ah well, more for me us I suppose.

Ours is 'under the sea' as I'm sure I've mentioned so DP suggested doing the invites in the manner of antiquated seafaring maps, with 'here be monsters' etc. all over them. I need more inspiration for sea monster-themed decorational touches though, so all input welcome

DS has been so cute this weekend. Today he picked up his Makka Pakka doll and brought it over for me to press its tummy and make it talk, but got more and more annoyed until I got to the Makka Pakka song that is programmed in - then he held MP to his chest and started dancing

Miamla Drive everyone nuts and use Courier. My wedding had a neo-classical theme so the font was all carved Roman capitals effect. My dress was Regency style, the bridesmaids were dressed as little slavegirls and the cake was a 3d model of a Roman temple (architecture properly researched, spirit level and sander used on roof - benefits of an Asparagus dad.)

But don't listen to me, I have nits (again.) Just noticed DD had a few last night and now I can't stop itching. Bloody communal family hairbrush.

Off to find some Under The Sea things for Cyteen although I'm assuming Huey Lewis's Power of Love will be the first dance?

O was poorly yesterday. Temp and generally out of sorts. Then when dh offered him his tea, he promptly chundered over dh . A little better today but think his teeth are bothering him, and he still has a bit of a temp.

We're doing well thanks. Gabriella is great fun at the moment, I'm really enjoying this stage! Well I am now, was ready for her to be an only child about 6wks ago! (But she's finally going down awake and sleeping through now thanks to that!!! Woohoo! ) I can totally relate to CC's 'from broody to majorly non-broody' thoughts. I know loads of people who are pregnant at the moment so can imagine that my majorly broody phase will coincide with all the new sprogs popping out!

I can't remember if I talked about it on here before, but I decided not to go back to the Hell that was banking and became a childminder instead! Frying pan and fire...? It's really good fun most of the time, and means that I can be at home with Gabriella so it's working out fine so far.

I tried to have a read of the latest thread but my concentration is still not up to much! I've picked out that Miamla is getting married soon and is pregnant again!! - yay! When are the big days? I've also seen that cyteen may or may not be pregnant! And hotterpotter is thinking of going for number 3! It's all go!

What else have I missed?

LittleNutTree you missed ALBS having DC2, a beautiful little girl. Oops has DC2, another little girl, in her belly traveling through Australia at this very moment. Dizzy wants a DC4. Cyteen wants a DC2. Buckets, Sazzles and I have had our DH's fixed so NO MORE DCs for us. You missed Sazzles and her family traveling to America to spend a week at the beach with me and my family. Then she travel all over the world it seems seeing almost everyone else on the thread. LOL! I think she's been to Dizzy's twice now. We've had loads of meet-ups, in person and via Skype. And.....what am I missing.....goodness somebody else jump in and help me here because you all know my mind is crap.

We are currently watching Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Have been reading the book to ds1 over the past week so he's really into it. 2nd time we've watched it in little over 12 hours
