Am home, phew. DDs blood tests came back negative luckily. Let out late last night but only just got computer charged up and logged in.

Just put H down so gonna get some shut eye whilst she does. Night night thank you for all your good wishes.

largeginandtonic · 26/11/2009 07:05

So glad you are home CM Snuggle with her in bed for a few days and try not to do anything else. Re establish those baby bonds.

Jam the shoes are lovely, they will look amazing with that dress. I can't believe that you have only ever been away from your dp for one night

It is never easy but i think it de[ends on what is going on. Sometimes 6 weeks will fly other times 2 days seems an age.

The hardest thing we have here and i am sure in many other forces families, is the fitting in again. You have to learn to live with each other again.

Must get on and sort the ready brek out, school run looms.

how on earth did I manage to put a random link in my saddo word?

So chuffed you are home Charley. xx

Tillyscoutsmum · 26/11/2009 13:42

I'm so glad you're all home safe and sound Charley. I've been really worried about you xx

All ok with me - baby looking on the big side but not beyond normal parameters. Estimated about 8lbs now (at 37 weeks) so no induction at the moment. Got another appointment with the consultant in 2 weeks. They did pick up some white blood cells in my urine sample so have sent off for it to be tested for infection etc.

elkiedee · 26/11/2009 14:37

Welcome home CM and baby H.

Moijaimelacountry · 26/11/2009 16:20

glad you are both home safe and well Charley.

Must go, the dance floor needs me.

TheGreatScootini · 26/11/2009 20:06

Evening all..

Only one night Jammer?!Blimey-I love it when DH goes away for a night or two.It leaves me free to spend time with the telly and not be bothered by him wanting football on and what not.

I have had lots of interest in my CV which have sent to some recruitment agents. No one interested in me has got a job that I am really interested in sadly but still its nice to be wanted.

Yay H is OK!Great news.

I have tidied the house this eve as in the morn we have M's pre school visit and in the afternoon one of L's new friends from pre school and her Mum are coming for a play.(Im quite nervous as what if the Mum and I dont get on-and we are stuck in stony silence whilst the girls are off cavorting?)

In the evening DH and I are going for a curry with a couple from the bumps and babes group who we kind of know but also dont really- we have only ever been out with them as part of a group before.I feel under alot of social pressure tomorrow.Maybe I should take a drink at luncheon-ease my way through it?

On the otherhand I was doing an agency audit in Wood Green today so had a little shop and bought a lovely skirt in H and M which have just now seen featured in this weeks Grazia Yes, I really am that shallow

SKYTVADDICT · 28/11/2009 06:52

Welcome home CM and H.

Hope you got on ok Scoot with your new friend from pre-school I am sure you will have.

Well I had Ofsted here for 3 hours yesterday and all went well. I have a lovely tidy house for the first time in ages - such a shame I have to bring some things back in from the shed . No major things to do - need to move some glasses from a cupboard, bricks from garden and a couple of other little things then providing all checks are ok I will be a childminder. Could take up to 3 months which will seem like ages. I can have 1 child between 0-5 and 3 between 5 and 8 and maybe a couple over 8. I just hope someone will want to use me. I have visions of not getting anyone!

Went to see Jethro in Skegness last night - DPs idea - I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but he was hilarious and I felt quite young in the audience

Hello everyone else. Not long now PJ and Tils x

AprilMeadow · 29/11/2009 16:32

Jam how are preperations going? All excited?

I am having such a shit time with my period. I have been bleeding again since last week. It was so bad yesterday i almost wanted to be shot just to put me put me out of my misery

AprilMeadow · 29/11/2009 22:52

Oh no you poor thing!! Trip to the Dr's me thinks..........

Lights are only up because last year we did nothing and we were the only house out of a row of 8 that had no lights. This year i checked with the neighbours to see when theirs were going up... They are up but dont get switched on til Tuesday

Hideous day today with J! He woke at 7 and went downstairs to watch tv, then E joined him and all was quiet until 7.55 when E came upstairs to grass him up by saying that he had been eating ice cream! They ate half a tub of choc/strawberry/vanilla - unfortunately this particular brand sends him crazy and we have been paying for it all day. 1) gets hold of the bubble bath and 'plays' with it in his room causing the cream carpet to be covered in blue bubble bath. It was all over his lego, the kids bathroom etc etc 2) stole my permanent marker from my pen pot (still cant find it) and DREW on the the laminate in the playroom and all inside the lazzari storage boxes. Thankfully with some cif i was able to get it all off 3) general behaviour due to chocolate was awful and as such i didnt let him go to his friends party this afternoon.

Ella is now starting to copy his bad behaviour and i swear if i hear her say NO when asked to do something i am going to explode!!

We (dh) had them in bed by 6.45/7 an hour earlier than normal!!

Thank god its nursery and school tomorrow.

JamInMyWellies · 30/11/2009 09:04

DP is back with pearls and diamonds! Off to nursery will be back later.

JamInMyWellies · 30/11/2009 09:46

AM what a horrible day. At least he is at school today so you can have a wee break.

LG&T think you should go back to the docs that is most definitely not right.

Tilly, PJ not long now girls.

Tis shmoks birthday in a couple of wks cant believe he is almost 1 I need another baby.

Thats great news about the childminding SKY. I honestly thought Jethro was dead how was it I imagine him to be a bit like Roy chubby Brown.

Well am giving the potty training a fairly wide berth at the mo. Am letting him hang free at home if he wants no nappy on but am just not pushing it. I figure he needs a bit longer. Am I the only one with a May 07 in nappies?

Right suppose I best crack on how is it he has been home less than 24hours and the house is a shit pit?

Tillyscoutsmum · 30/11/2009 20:27

Oooh Jam you lucky girl

Gin - agree you should try and see GP - how awful Shame about the wrap. No rush at all to send it back - I won't be going anywhere where I might need it for a few years while

We're just back from a lovely spa weekend for our first wedding anniversary. Lots of lazing around the pool, breakfast in bed and a lovely mum to be treatment (and 24 blissful child free hours - I love my MIL )

AM - what a nightmare day.

SKYTVADDICT · 30/11/2009 20:28

No Jam - C is still in nappies. I ask him every morning if he wants to wear pants today but apparently he doesn't. We do still take his nappy off occasionally and he will go on the potty but I am not pushing it either.

Jethro is much like Chubby Brown. Very rude and not at all politicaly (sp?) correct. I wasn't sure about him but actually had quite a nice evening.

What a horrid day AM.

LG&T - GPs just to check it out?

Themasterandmargaritas · 01/12/2009 18:56

Congrats SKY on your ofsteadding. Let the fun commence

Oooo LG&T that doesn't sound like fun, especially when dh is home. What are you going to do?

at the Christmas lights already, you mad woman!
How has Jack been this week at school? Mine all start to meltdown towards the end of term....

Great news you two ladies on your scans and Happy Anniversary Tills. It's December...... more babies.

Charley, how are you and tiny baby H?

How is the Tank now SOH? J too is fluey, with a right rattley chest.

It's all a bit busy here.

AprilMeadow · 01/12/2009 19:41

Lights were turned on this evening and the tree is down from the loft ready to be built.

Jack has been ok today which is good as we went to dh's Aunts for tea.

OMG I met MrsJB's mummy & daddy today and for those that have met Jaffa her mum is just an older version

Got my new car today - woo hoo

Oh and had a lovely phone call from Charley. She is checking in but doesnt get time to type a message once she has caught up. Sounds like H is fabulous baby and the A & G are being very good with the baby.

I have sent my Santa present by the way

JamInMyWellies · 01/12/2009 21:14

Oh god Secret Santa I haven't a clue. TMAM you have given me the hardest person to buy for. [grr]

The brilliant news here is Archie has eaten a full lunch and dinner tonight for the first time in months and it didnt involve chips pasta or PB&J sandwiches.

AND the shmoks has walked unaided He is such a big boy.

Nice news on the car AM.

Poor poorly bubbas, hope they all feel better soon.

Themasterandmargaritas · 02/12/2009 09:45

MAN UP Jam, she is easy peasy to buy for

Well done the Parch. And Schmocks. Definitely time to try for a pink nother one.

I think I owe some folk some addresses.....

largeginandtonic · 02/12/2009 14:31

Ello

All fun and games here, the Xmas carols etc.. start...

At least dh is home to assist. Have not been to doc, no point really. He will only say you have to give the pill 3 months to settle down, Ha!

Sky fab news on the Ofsted, you will be busy in no time i bet. Tis very lucrative i hear.

Jam how is the wedding prep going? Is A a faddy eater? B is quite good now, as long as it is weird food. He like olives and humous over chips. Weirdo. Shmooks is walking! So is Bluebell, we are up to 6 steps now.

She stands and pivots and walks between the furniture. She has also mastered the blardy stairs, aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrghhhhh!!

I am ebaying everything atm. We are decluttering before Xmas when another load of shite toys arrive.

My secret santa is being sent off tomorrow I am uber happy with it. Do we have to wait for Xmas day or can we tear paper off as soon as it arrives?

I have been texting TYG, she is mad busy with life atm. I am hoping she comes back to us soon.

We will be decorating this weekend i expect. Hooray the Xmas songs are on! I LOVE Xmas

charleymouse · 02/12/2009 14:55

Hello, xmas shopping all done, Dh done loads online so only needed a few bits and pieces and things we needed to see in the flesh before buying.. Synchronised shopping with LG&T yesterday.

H weighed on Saturday and had lost 1oz. Seeing MW again tomorrow at Childrens Centre. Registry office on Friday. DH doesn't like Hs name though so not sure what to do. I love it and think he just agreed to it after watching me give birth. Just wondering if it will grow on him though or whether to change it.

Just reminded me, I have not done Secret Santa yet. WIll get on it tomorrow as going to Meadowhall to get DH some clothes for Christmas he only seems to have running clothes that fit him at the minute.

A and G seem to be fighting over whose turn it is to have H on their lap. DD trys to pull rank as the eldest and DS thinks as he is a "Big Bruvva" it should be his turn. TBH it is lovely to see, they love her to bits.

Anyway going to try and get my head down for half an hour whilst DH out for his run.

Take care and will catch up later.

JamInMyWellies · 02/12/2009 21:31

Secret Santa done, I have cheated a wee bit. TMAM I have not gone with your suggestion I feel that the person I am secret santaing is soo not into that sort of thing.

Tillyscoutsmum · 03/12/2009 10:18

Hey everyone

Gin - I need to start ebaying stuff. I've never sold on there before so may be on for some tips/advice. Need to get rid of all Tilly's clothes and maternity stuff after baby has arrived Even though this pregnancy has been pretty hideous and I know we don't want anymore children, its still sad to think I won't do it all again.

Charley - lovely to hear from you. I love the name Harriet. What would your DH's choice be ? Glad to hear all is going well - A and G sound very cute

Jam - how are the wedding plans going ?

We're putting christmas tree up tonight and the builders are in finishing baby's room off this week. I've got a few pressies to wrap and deliver this weekend and then I am officially ready

My best friend has just called me and she had her baby an hour ago . I'm so excited for her

AprilMeadow · 03/12/2009 20:11

TSM, i have been ebaying like mad and have so far made £100. I have found that if you list your maternity items separately you get more money than if you do a bundle/job lot. Some things you may only get £1 for but if you have 50 things thats £50 where as if you did a job lot you may only get £15-20 for the same amount of clothes (does that make sense..?). You get to relist your items for free if they dont sell - so you get 2 chances to sell it. I have kept all the bits that havent sold and will list it as a job lot just to get rid of it all.

Baby clothes are doing well as well. I have been selling the sets of sleepsuits that Lucy has grown out of but only in the sets that they came in - so packs of three mothercare sleepsuits. Will eventually get her newborn/3mth stuff on in small bundles maybe 2/3 outfits per set.
