We have been looking at one of these more for the theatre side for DD but think if it is both shop and theatre both kids can use it. Theres is also a cloth hanging version I have seen you can hang up in a doorway. Have a nosy on ebay.

Waves at Tils, LG&T, MJB, AM, TMAM, Jam, Scoot and PJ at your Aunty. Come on Scoot if SOH is having another you can too.

Marking spot as last day at work today and have loads to do. Already have a meeting to attend next Wednesday.

TheGreatScootini · 13/11/2009 12:19

Chance'd be a fine thing.Harumph.

You will not attend a meeting next Wednesday.I forbid it!You will stay home and put your feet up.

I am meant to be going to Brighton tomorrow to see some friends and have a night out.As usual I feel like death warmed up.Sod it.I am going even if I have to take Lemsip intravenously twixt now and then.Ive got some lovely new ankle boots that I havent had chance to wear yet and they are due a debut.(Dotty P's Pink-they have launched this new lux shoe range-some really quite nice ones and not too expensive).

Have just realised that I have only one free weekend between now and Christmas. And that I have about 80% of Christmas shopping still to do and zero time.Plus my (shhh) 30th birthday to contend with.So need to have at least one day to have mini crisis and lie in a darkened room sobbing and mourning the death of my youth.Am now in a mild panic.

Have just booked M in for her pre school taster.I was hoping they would have monday and friday morning sessions free so I could get 2 hours a week child free (what it would've worked out probably by the time I had finished dropping and picking both up at different places)Just my luck they only have Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. So thats more money we will paying the cm not to have the kids.I dont really begrudge it as she is such an angel and the girls love her but in Jan we will be paying her for 2 kids for 3.5 days a week and for 2.5 of those days she will only actually be looking after one of them as the other will be nursery or preschool. Is quite annoying really when you consider it.

I have sent my CV to about 10 recruitment agencies this week to see if I can get a more local job.The commute is driving me mad and if I could just be around to drop a child off or pick one up we might not have to retain the cm in the inbetween hours for as much time and it will probably save us loads. So if anyone has a nice care service they want a lovely registered manager for in Herts, East Essex or Cambridgeshire do let me know.

Pinkjenny · 13/11/2009 13:37

Where has SOH gone?

Scoot - I intend to start stockpiling gorgeous shoes now. I am sick to fricking death of ballet flats, biker boots and Uggs. I am going to emerge sylph-like after I have this baby. I am, you just watch me. I have put up pictures of myself pre-Alexa around the house as motivation.

TheGreatScootini · 13/11/2009 13:44

I have got a picture of Alexa Chung on my frige for Thinspiration. She annoys me quite a bit but she does always rock a good look it has to be said.
PJ you will be gorgeous, you are anyway. The weight is far easier to lose after the second as you are running around after the first.

Is it wrong that I am sky plussing all of gmtv on Tuesday as have just seen that R Pattinson is going to be on?

Moijaimelacountry · 13/11/2009 13:45

Chemist?

Hopefully tucked up with her hot bottle and not very nice but greatful period pains.

Moijaimelacountry · 13/11/2009 13:51

Can I just add?

Having read back, my fainting episode earlier was at the thought of an SOH pregnancy not at her science of conception. Just so ya's know.

Tillyscoutsmum · 13/11/2009 15:54

Can I just say ..... bleuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

Day 2 of D&V bug and DH is obviously far too busy (christmas shopping with his mother in yesterday's case) to stay home and help look after Tils. I can't keep anything in/down - not even water. I feel dizzy, weak and feeble and rushing to the loo every 10 mins is not helping the SPD either. God, I'm feeling blardy sorry for myself

SOH - I have tests. FB me if you want me to post them to you I also have a Till and a shopping basket (I believe MIL has bought her a new one for Christmas and she already has one). If you go to somewhere like Comet, they'll let you have a load of big cardboard boxes you can have to make a whole shopping mall

PJ - on SPD. Have a good look at the pelvic partnership website. Lots of good tips on there. Will message you later

I love dressing up (a bit) on Xmas day. We always have new PJ's to wear Xmas Eve and then wear new outfits. It definitely comes from childhood where you would wear your new present outfits. I quite like this top with leggings. Hopefully I can fit ds up there for b'fing ? I was really bad last time round - very self conscious about feeding in public to the point where I barely went out for the first 5 months I obviously need to man up this time

largeginandtonic · 13/11/2009 19:09

She is not btw ladies. Very pleased about it to.

PJ your aunty does sound a bit Well done for having a pop but lol at what you said Yes, yes i see a svelte you lurking behind the baby bump. The bump will pop out and you will be a size 8.

Till my sweet I think you need to scream and throw a PJ tantrum. He needs to help you so you can go to bed! You poor thing. Diaorolyte is good, that and flat lemonade. It is rotten enough without being heavily prg too.

CM how are oyu feeling?

MrsJB i stood on the wii fit today. I was not impressed. I have been soooooooo good for 2 weeks, almost 3. Absolutely NO cakles or fatty food. 3 meals a day (well almost) very healthy. I have not lost a fecking ounce... What am i doing wrong.

I feel smaller, bit less lumpy i suppose. Arghhhhhh.

I almost ate 6 donughts, 12 packets of crisps and 14 chocolate bars in my desolate state.

ShowOfHands · 13/11/2009 20:27

Hello, hello. Sorry not to update you all sooner. My MN has gone doolally. I can only see some topics some of the time. It's very odd. This thread looks most bizarre but that might just be this thread's usual state. Apparently BigTech has his hammer out. I can't see most of the posts apart from the first and the last which are both LG&T. It is of course possible that she's gone power mad and had the rest of you deleted. LG&T, have you gone dark side?

I am so happy. Am having an absolutely terrible period after worrying that it hadn't come. I got out of the bath earlier and well, it's not really polite to go into it but the rug's ruined. No idea what's happened this month but I am Not Pregnant and that's the reason to celebrate. Breadsticks all round eh LG&T?

Have looked at tills online and shown dd. She clapped her hands a lot and said yes please, I'll write to Father Christmas. Any cheap ones anywhere? Anybody seen any? Wonder if I can make one of those out of cardboard too.

Right, so can't see the rest of the thread so will make up some responses according to what you might have said.

AM, have you tried putting cream on it or wiping it with a damp dishcloth?

Tils, I read somewhere that it's only the green ones that are poisonous.

Gin, it's only porn if the nuns have pierced fanjos.

PJ, no I don't think a catsuit is best for Christmas day but maybe NYE once Lucas is here.

Jaffa, did you see the president at linedancing really? What a cad to whisper that in your ear. Though do it and he might waive your driving fine.

TMAM, no you're getting it back to front. It's 4 thrashes for the ayah and 3 mojitos to celebrate.

Scoot, have you thought of replacing all of your hot drinks with warm lemon and wearing a duvet coat?

Charley is the strange Big Issue seller still present in Sheffield? No personality. Sort or sings but not really.

The last one was serious.

Ooh I like this way of replying must do it more often.

It is inappropriate to have a crush on big-eared sorcerors btw.

ShowOfHands · 13/11/2009 20:31

Ooh now LG&T's post has disappeared and been replace by mine.

Have gathered that you're ill though Tils. Tis going round. Norovirus/winter sicky yuck things. Keep drinking water even if it won't stay down. You'll absorb some of it. Oh God you poor thing being sick with SPD and a big bump.

LG&T you know actual pounds don't matter as muscle weighs more than fat. Are your clothes getting more comfortable? Try the dress on.

PJ will check back later and try and read what your aunt's done though judging by tales of your female family members before it was probably snide/self-involved/cruel.

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/11/2009 21:22

What is this Christmas you all talk of? A bit of tinsel here. And it's hot.

I do luve you ladies, you are all very special even if you are with bumps or vomiting, like boybadns or do strange dancing.

It's late and it ws fun now it's somehow bedtime.

largeginandtonic · 13/11/2009 21:23

Yes but where is the muscle coming from?. I am doing the same as i always do.

I am going to do one of those weird 3 day diets. I am fed up.

My period ismaking me want to eat chocolate and rubbish. I'm having i diet cherry coke, it is not really hitting the spot tbh

Your clone is hot btw SOH. Thin obv.

LG&T I ddnt' do the foundation today. No bugger noticed. I did wear purple eyeshadow, is that cool or is that past it?

Alos I want a purple bra.

largeginandtonic · 13/11/2009 21:34

No bugger noticed the Vitalfuckingexpensive either and it didn't make me lose weight.

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 13/11/2009 21:35

I wore green eyeshadow to my sisters wedding. Was very cool. Purple equally as nice.

TMAM....Tut!!!

lg&t, you've answered your own question my lovely. Tis the AF sadly.. SOH (if thats who it is) not so sure these days. is right (enevitably) muscle does way more but I suspect the period is more the bastard.

Don't eat the cakes, keep going, you will see a drop, but yes try that dress on bet you'll notice a difference. Be careful with alcohol and bread.

AM what happened to your big black beast?

I'd like to meet the president of linedancing. Is there one?

Moijaimelacountry · 13/11/2009 21:45

The fish was permantly phished... look at that writing style.

Don't go, is making a mauvais TV night much more interesting.

Moijaimelacountry · 13/11/2009 21:47

I have a fab sparkly purple eye shadow. I do feel about 12 when I wear it, but I need a bit of colour sometimes.

largeginandtonic · 13/11/2009 21:58

Hahahahahahahahaha my sides ache.

Don't go TMAM, stay and entertain talk to us

Really MrsJB? Almost 3 weeks of diet to be blown by a fecking period? I HATE being a woman.

OP posts:
charleymouse · 13/11/2009 23:58

OMFG

I have put on 7lb in a week, I thought I was supposed to put 1lb a week on at this stage not 1lb a day

Can't think how it has happened (blissfully ignorant of scones and cakes I have rammed in this week) tralalalala. Will be careful next week as it is not a good look.

I had a recall at the GPs yesterday as trace of protein found in urine by MW on monday. GP checked and it is still there but BP is okay, phew. Said don't panic unless I get headaches or bloating.

Tils how are you feeling any better?

SOH how do you feel about AF arriving, absolutely relieved or a little disappointed?

Hi TMAM, night night,

LG&T next week you will have lost loads don't worry.

MJB his Stetson is huge

Scoot I will not attend meeting honest

AprilMeadow · 14/11/2009 08:46

The black beast is being replaced in December by a 'space grey' version that hopefully wont have as many issues as this one has had. Anyway, bmw called the other day to say that they have someone interested in the beast and could they please borrow it for the weekend so that they can show this person what it's like. Upside is a) they will clean it and valet it (was minging so they will have a big job!) and b) i get to put miles on someone elses car . If this guy wants it then they have asked if they can sell it and give me a car whilst i am waiting for mine to arrive.... seems like a good deal to me

Tils that you have a d&v. Not what you need at all.

SOH, yes tried the dishcloth but it didnt come off . Am pleased that af arrived if thats what you wanted...

PJ, family..... always special! I hope M lets you have a rest this weekend xx

CM, now that is impressive weight gain

TMAM, love pissed posting

I was very pleased with self as i stood on the scales yesterday and saw my weight start with a 9 rather than a 10 for the first time in about 6mths.... however after going out with girlies last night to an all you can eat chinese the scales have reverted bak to a 10 hey ho was worth it!!

Moijaimelacountry · 14/11/2009 09:49

I'd love my scales to show a frickin 10. Will be back to a 10 tomorrow AM.
Lg&t it's true, up to 4lb difference the week of AF, your body stores and retains everything but you often see a good drop the weigh in after. As long as it hasn't killed your motivation and you dig into the crap. I agree, tis annoying being a woman sometimes. I've been a bit bored this week and haven't been very good. Feeling a little more excited about returning to the fish and veg and pasta today. I have been back in my jeans a few weeks and I don't want to end up out of them again.
