lol hotter
My dh is not that forward tbh unless he has had a beer, so I was quite this morning.
It made me
dizzy we had a dog when we were kids that new when we were going to the caravan for weekend or school break. She just sensed it somehow and sat crying at the car dar until someone let her in.
Think she was frightened we would go away and leave her.

In fact we must have looked right weirdos, turning up with bloody dog, cat and budgie.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 16:15

oopS I wouldn't worry, plenty of time to catch up.
Dh came nowhere near me, he said I made him 'gag' at thought of it while I was pregnant. Nice eh?

IN fact the day we conceived was the last time till dd and ds was a few months old.

I was gagging for it to say the least.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 16:17

ds has really perfected his angry/demanding noise.
He is currently dipping breadsticks into a tub of Phili.
While I decide what to do for tea.
I ought to wake dd, as she fell asleep in the car on the way back from the farm, but she may be moody if I do.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 16:18

Ok so can you tell I have had noone but the dcs and horses to talk to all day.

cyteen · 18/11/2009 16:41

I love your DS's demanding noise no1

hotter my DP is more like yours. That's fine though as the art of subtlety is totally lost on me so I am happy to be forthright when the need arises. So to speak

lwfhthevampireslayer · 18/11/2009 17:15

Fucking cockroaches. Again. Sympathy please.

Off out with DS for the rest of the afternoon, and hopefully not back until a week today when the fumigator is coming.

steaknife · 18/11/2009 17:19

la la la I can't hear you and all your nooky chat

So reading all the cleaning chat now is when I appreciate being a small family in a small house.
Only my mess to clean up and smaller loads of laundry drying around the house.
I only clean the floor downstairs, I tend to spot clean under and around the table and give a thorough clean about once or twice a week. I ignored the carpet through the rest of the house until mum lent me her dyson last week.
Tiny tiny kitchen - Buckets you've seen it. I have the area of about three cupboard tops to clean. It doesn't take much for kitchen carnage to acrew but at least it only takes five mins of washing up to sort it.

la la la I still can't hear you.

steaknife · 18/11/2009 17:21

cockroaches - they can fly doncha know - vile things.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 17:26

Sympathy with the vile creatures.

Just awaiting someone fetching another double buggy.

DD awake in an a good mood, she must have needed that nap after last night.bless.

I will regret it later when she is still up at 9pm. Hey ho.

Can ya hear me steaky

steaknife · 18/11/2009 17:37

nope

PoinsettiaBouquets · 18/11/2009 18:51

and at Albs's weekly housework - before I got my cleaner all that got done about once every 6m or more.
I find it hard just keeping up with the laundry and dishwasher and I'm not even washing nappies anymore.
I still don't understand the concept of polish, seems like a more expensive version of damp dusting to me.
Anyway, leaves more time for baking .

steaknife · 18/11/2009 19:04

in the interest of the thread I just timed how long it took me to clean up the kitchen.
20 minutes, but I did the drying up and putting away - usually just let it drain. I also made a cup of tea, spoke to a telesales lady and ate a chocolate.

I took before and after photos too, but realised how dull that made me am too lazy to upload them.

Just got to tidy the sitting room, make dinner and do some sewing. DD still not aslepp despite being overtired. [sigh]

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 19:40

Lol at photo taking, I took a picture of a heart shaped blackberry earlier. No honest I really did.

Anyway I am being all domesticated as I am in the middle of mopping the floor and....... drying it by hand with kitchen towel.
Dh says he can tell when I have mopped the floor, not because it is clean, but because it is smeary.

Sleeping with the enemy ring any bells here?

dizzydixies · 18/11/2009 19:46

smeary and you still let him have sex with you?!?! so wouldn't happen here

QueenofDreams · 18/11/2009 19:52

Evening ladies.
I've finally managed to get online woohoo!
Our phone/internet has been down for ages. It's really annoying as now that I've finally got online I see an email from DP telling me when he would be leaving and asking if we need anything from the shops I have no way to contact him as his mobile is dead (seb piddled on it)
Anyway, I think I'm going to try this flylady lark, just as a way of getting into better habits and reduce my slatternliness (?) The language is sickeningly cutesy though, but I will try and look past that.

lwfh I detest cockroaches. When I was little, I would never drink a glass of coke that had been put on the side in case a cockroach had got in it - after all coke is a similar colour to cockroaches, so if there was one in there I wouldn't be able to see it.

QueenofDreams · 18/11/2009 19:53

I am truly sorry if I've just put anyone off coke for life btw

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 19:53

PMSL yes smeary,he is very critical of my cleaning but we have learnt to laugh it off.
(I am perfectly capable, but prefer to pretend I'm not)

He aint getting any tonight.
DD still up and probably wont go down till 9.30-10.

New double arrived, tis ok.Ds liked it, dd even got in it and asked if we could get ready and go to shops.
So hopefully she will get in it tomorow.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 19:56

x post queeny I om off to look at this flylady.

Ds has very hard green poo lately. Any ideas??
I had to cancel his MMR again today, due to him being poorly. That is three times I have had to cancel.

My friends little one has been very very ill with measles, just a few days before he was due to have the mmr.

I looked at the flylady site too but decided against it as I didn't want more emails from people that aren't real people. Still haven't been arsed to unsubscribe from the French railway list [lazy]

Also my sink is shiney because I follow Kim and Aggie - bleach in at night and bicarb and vinegar down it when it is stinky.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 20:10

Lol sazzles you are right, but I am hoping to sneak off to do the shit shovelling mucking out at the farm on my own in the morning. Before dh goes to work.
So do you think I can get that done at the farm and be home to get me and dcs ready for toddlers at 9.30.

Not sure I can cope with the flylady, reminds me too much of dh. Drying out the sink and polishing the taps etc...Even I have started to do it.

That is a little too early for me. but no doubt one of them will have me up anyway.

Lol at making the boss feel bad.

We have no shoes in the house too. I do tip toe through occasionally if I forget something though.

steaknife · 18/11/2009 20:23

no shoes in our house - well you know apart from on the shoe shelf. I wear socks and flip-flops. And when it is really cold, socks, thick socks and flip-flops.

I is sooooooooo classy.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 18/11/2009 20:25

I am struggling with some xmas gift ideas.
Mainly for Mum and dsis.

Mum used to be easy, jewellery, perfumes, smellies, or horse stuff.
She now has a shop full of all that and younger dbro gets her expensive gorgeous body lotions and potions.

Sister very difficult too.
