Tummum How scary. But at least it happened when your DH was home. Still v. scary. Also at your caravan. Our dcs have a little bedroom too, but only a curtain separates them from us. I want a bedroom with a door too! I wish I lived a bit closer, I'm dying to have a peek at it
ChocB So glad to hear from you. I'd been wondering how you're doing. Your C sounds about my C's size. She's 20lbs and in size 6-9m clothes too
demonic Right after C's birth my dd1 took to drawing pics of me with a baby's head between my legs
johny depp What a wonderful thing he did. I think the dressing up thing was in away even better than the donation, because it must have made the day of everyone in the hospital.
texas I do enjoy my job, but yes it is hard work. The training took a lot of hard work and probably the most stressfull thing I've ever done. TBH if I'd know what it would be like, I would never have done it, lol. But now I'm on the other side, I'm happy. Now that I'm qualified I work part time, partly because I want to have time with my family, but also as a way of stress control. I find a lot of mw do the same. Most of my full time colleagues are very very stressed and a lot of them tend to go off sick due to stress, though the situation is a little better at the moment thanks to the government pledge to employ more mw. However I'm a bit worried with all this talk about the government wanting to cut spending again. Often maternity is one of the 1st places they like to do that cutting
I can't comment too much on the weaning either. I do remember that the feeds dropped naturally and fairly gradually. Before the age of 1 milk is really baby's main source of nutrients, so she really still needs to take all lot of milk.
C is even more snuffly today. The nose drops work though. She was struggling to go to sleep for her nap due to her nose, so I thought I'd try her back in her cot, because she was really flat in our bed and I didn't want to put her on a pillow. I've got some bed blocks to raise her cot that I bought, because I found the pillow under the mattress technique never quite worked very well. Anyway, it took a while, but I've finally got her to sleep without crying in her cot. It's the 1st time since we started our nap training programme, so I think we're getting there
Gosh it's cold today. Brrr, I might have to switch the heating on again.
